Family Cultivation: I can see the prompts

537: Clan celebrationA wisp of purple Qi emerged from the sea at dawn, and Shuangmu Island was already bustling with activity.

Today was not only the Lin Family’s Family Gathering but also the Golden Core Ceremony and the Purple Mansion Ceremony.

However, the protagonist of today’s Golden Core Ceremony was Wang Jiao.

As for the Purple Mansion Ceremony, there were quite a few protagonists, including all those who had broken through to the Purple Mansion Realm in the past three years, such as Lin Shijin, Lin Shizhong, Lin Houfei, Lin Xianzhi, Lin Yanjiao, and a Three Spiritual Roots Cultivator from the Shi Generation.

No outsiders would be present at the ceremony; it was publicly announced as a Family Gathering.

As for outside spies, ever since Lin Shiming achieved the Golden Core, it had become very difficult to find spies on Shuangmu Island, not to mention the formidable reputation Lin Shiming and many Spirit Communication Swords earned on Coral Island nine years ago.

Spiritual Haze continuously filled the sky, and countless fireworks bloomed.

The Lin Family’s clan-protecting great bell rang nine times.

This symbolized the Family’s eternal prosperity and was a grand celebration.

After breaking through to the Golden Core, Wang Jiao could also take human form, but to Lin Shiming’s surprise, Wang Jiao transformed into a youthful appearance.

He somewhat resembled Thunder Child.

Wang Jiao had always been known for his domineering nature in his cave heaven.

Yet, he transformed into a refined young man.

Seeing Lin Shiming’s confusion, Wang Jiao used his fingers to explain to Lin Shiming.

He said that a Golden Core’s lifespan was at least a thousand years, and as a Jiaolong Demon King, his lifespan was even three thousand years.

He was only a little over a hundred years old, so this transformation was reasonable.

Lin Yanjiao and Lin Houyuan also wore splendid robes today.

They were equally puzzled by Wang Jiao’s appearance, but fortunately, as the various Clan Elders of the Lin Family, they were all very good at self-control and showed no other expressions.

Today, Wang Jiao remained true to his nature, tasting Spirit Fruits here and drinking spirit wine there during the celebration, and occasionally taking out High-Grade Spirit Stones from his Storage Pouch to chew on.

He would show disdain towards other Lin Family Spirit Beasts, which was quite comical.

At the grand ceremony, many Cultivators who were away were also recalled, including Lin Shimo, who guarded Tianxiang Island, Lin Shiyi, who guarded Jiuyue Island, and Lin Zekong and Lin Zecheng from Lianyun Island.

Because of the widespread use of Teleportation Arrays, the Lin Family was not worried about problems arising in these two days.

When noon arrived, the Spiritual Haze in the sky intensified, and to celebrate this occasion, the Lin Family specially found a Spiritual Vein to upgrade it, creating a Spiritual Qi tide.

Of course, this Spiritual Qi tide was not particularly large; it was merely for good fortune.

Next was the gift-giving segment. Today, Wang Jiao couldn’t stop smiling. He already had his private Storage Pouch, but this time he felt his Storage Pouch was too small.

It couldn’t hold so many treasures. Although he couldn’t use Fourth-Grade Magic Treasures, Wang Jiao’s desire to collect was equally strong.

He accepted all gifts.

Lin Shiming also presented the Green Fish Sword to Wang Jiao. The Green Fish Sword was a water-attribute Spirit Sword and could unleash its power.

As for Lin Shiming, his Taiyi Sword Grass had finally reached the Fifth-Grade level, and when combined with his Sword Intent, it was even stronger than a Medium Grade Magic Treasure Flying Sword.

“Thank you, Master!” Wang Jiao still nodded to others, but his smile towards Lin Shiming was full of flattery and fawning.

In his opinion, no one here had as many Magic Treasures as his Master; any one of them was a supreme treasure.

Besides Wang Jiao receiving gifts, the Lin Family’s Purple Mansion Cultivators also began to receive gifts.

Wang Jiao also immersed himself in it, constantly taking out the Jiaolong scales he had shed earlier, which were definitely Fourth-Grade excellent Magic Treasure Materials.

This made Lin Yanjiao and Lin Houyuan incredibly happy.

Among them, Lin Yanjiao possessed both Dual Wood Spiritual Roots and the Heavenly Illusion Spirit Body.

This was the perfect time to refine a water-attribute Magic Treasure.

After the gift-giving segment, the grand banquet began.

Countless treasured spirit wines were brought out, and exquisite Spirit Cuisine dishes were served one by one.

Currently, the Lin Family had Fifth-Grade spirit wine in the form of jade ambrosia dew, obtained by exchanging daughter red; Fourth-Grade spirit wines included sturgeon dragon wine, daughter red, Qinghongliu, and Qingzhulu; and Third-Grade spirit wines included monkey wine, Honggu Wine, and more than a dozen others.

There was no need to mention the Second-Grade spirit wines.

For this celebration, the Lin Family only held back its Fifth-Grade spirit wine.

In terms of Spirit Cuisine, there was even more. During this Beast Tide, the Lin Family still accumulated a large amount of Yao Beast Materials, including various Fourth-Grade flying beasts, swimming fish, fierce beasts, and Jiaolongs, all of which were collected, making for a grand stew.

This also included the Blood Crocodiles, mysterious black fish, Red Spirit Fish, Mystic Spirit Turtles, and Azure Armor Crabs that the Lin Family had raised for a long time.

As for Spirit Fruits, they were too numerous to count.

Lin Shiming even brought out the great strength fruit from the great strength fruit Tree.

However, these fruits were limited and were given to a few Lin Family members with great potential.

Among them, Lin Yanjiao received one, Lin Changxing received one, Lin Zeli received one, and Lin Shiyi also received one.

After the banquet, it was time for the Dao lecture. Of course, Wang Jiao couldn’t possibly give a Dao lecture; even if he did, probably few people would dare to listen.

So, Lin Houyuan and Lin Shijin were responsible for the Dao lecture... While the Dao lecture was ongoing, at the peak of Qinglian Peak, by the Spirit Lake’s pavilion.

Currently, there were more than forty people present.

All forty-plus people were Purple Mansion Cultivators!

Even Lin Shiming hadn’t expected that in the fifty years since his Breakthrough to the Golden Core, the Lin Family had produced over thirty Purple Mansion Cultivators.

Among them, Lin Shijie and Seventh Grand Uncle Lin Xianzhi were in the Purple Mansion Late Stage; currently, Lin Shimo, Lin Shitao, Lin Houshou, Lin Houwei, and the late-comer Lin Shilei were in the Mid Purple Mansion Realm.

The rest were all Early Violet Palace Stage Cultivators who had recently broken through.

“Seventh Grand Uncle, please speak first!” Lin Shiming looked at Lin Xianzhi.

“Shiming, Seventh Grand Uncle is old. The Family’s affairs are for you to arrange!” Lin Xianzhi shook his head. Although he was the Lin Family’s old Clan Leader and of an older generation.

But the Lin Family’s highest combat power was still Lin Shiming.

Lin Shiming asking him to speak was out of respect.

Seeing Lin Xianzhi’s expression, Lin Shiming didn’t insist. Instead, he looked around at everyone, then spoke loudly:

“Now that there are too many Lin Family members, from now on, Family Gatherings will be held by Purple Mansion Cultivators to decide Family matters!”

“And the heads of the various halls, and even the Family Head, must now be held by Purple Mansion Cultivators!”

Lin Shiming first made improvements to the Family’s system again.

Now that the Lin Family was a Golden Core Family, the Family Head must at least be a Purple Mansion Cultivator; this was also a consensus in the cultivation world.

Even if he wanted to change it, there was no way.

Unless the Lin Family no longer interacted with other Golden Core Families.

Otherwise, if their Family Head was a Purple Mansion Cultivator and yours was a Foundation Establishment Cultivator, you would suffer a great disadvantage in both experience and strength.

The same applied to the various halls; without Purple Mansion strength, it would be difficult to command respect.

The other Purple Mansion Cultivators were surprised by Lin Shiming’s system, but then they nodded.

This system upgrade was inevitable.

“Alright, then I will announce the appointments. Lin Yanjiao remains the Family Head, Lin Houxuan is the Alchemy Hall Head, Lin Shizhong is the Weapon Crafting Hall Head, Lin Zelu is the Formation Hall Head, Lin Shijin is the Talisman Hall Head, Lin Zekong is the Spirit Plant Hall Head, Lin Zecheng is the Spirit Puppet Hall Head, Lin Zeli is the Sword Hall Head, Lin Shilei is the Demon Hunting Hall Head, and Lin Houyuan is in charge of the Family Treasure Pavilion!”

As each appointment was announced, those who were appointed nodded. They had obtained Purple Mansion Jade Liquid through the Family and gained experience through the Family’s Illusion Heart Pavilion, so taking on responsibilities for the Family was inevitable.

“The salaries of the various hall masters will be double that of ordinary Purple Mansion Cultivators. In addition, besides the various halls, the Family is opening up the positions of island masters for Jiuyue Island, Tianxiang Island, and Lianyun Island, and they will also receive double salaries.”

Previously, the Lin Family’s salary system only went up to Foundation Establishment. At the Purple Mansion Realm, the cultivable potential was roughly the same, and the required resources and salaries were also substantial.

Except for true geniuses like those with Heavenly Spiritual Roots, everyone else received a single salary.

So, being a hall master or island master was now considered a benefit.

“Furthermore, for each hall, Lin Yanjiao will establish an assessment system based on the Cultivators they are responsible for. The top three halls or sub-islands with the greatest progress will be selected for an additional double reward!”

Upon hearing this, everyone’s expressions changed.

This kind of progress was essentially internal competition.

Before, this only targeted Qi Refining Cultivators and Foundation Establishment Cultivators.

Now, it targeted Purple Mansion Cultivators.

“Of course, this also includes the strength of the island masters. In addition, those who have not become island masters or hall masters can also challenge for the positions. Island masters will be chosen based on strength, and hall masters based on skill!”

“Furthermore, each hall and island master can choose two Late Foundation Establishment Stage Family members as deputies!” After Lin Shiming finished speaking, everyone hesitated.

They naturally understood this system.

It was actually not much different from before, but it seemed that Lin Shiming did not want these Purple Mansion Cultivators to become complacent after entering the Purple Mansion Realm.

Thinking that with a five-hundred-year lifespan in the Purple Mansion Realm, they could relax.

“Besides this, those not included in these positions can compete for the top three in each Purple Mansion Realm stage based on their strength!”

“They will also receive an additional double salary!”

The salary system was quickly finalized, with no one objecting, nor was there any need to object.

“Alright, the system has been updated. Yan Jiao, you should have gone over it with Zewen. Please give an overview of the Family’s current situation!”

“Yes, Seventh Grand Uncle!” Lin Yanjiao nodded, then proceeded to report on the Family Cultivators’ strength.

“Reporting to Seventh Grand Uncle, the Family currently has two Golden Core True Persons, one Golden Core Demon King, forty-three Purple Mansion Cultivators, eighty-eight Purple Mansion Great Demon Spirit Beasts, four hundred eighty Foundation Establishment Cultivators, and seventeen thousand three hundred Qi Refining Cultivators!”

“Regarding the Family’s Spiritual Roots, there are currently three Spirit Bodies, two Heavenly Spiritual Roots, six Variant Spiritual Roots, forty-eight Dual Spiritual Roots, and one thousand eight hundred Three Spiritual Roots.”

“Regarding Family assets, the Family controls three trade-oriented Spirit Islands: Tianxiang Island, Jiuyue Island, and Lianyun Island; and five resource-oriented Spirit Islands: Spirit Turtle Island, Underwater Dragon Palace, Hulu Island, Fangmu Island, and Small World. In terms of Secret Realms, there are four Mysterious Grade Secret Realms and ten Yellow Grade Secret Realms.”

“Regarding Family resources and finances, there is one miniature High-Grade Spirit Stone Mine, two Scarlet Flame Crystal Mines, one Mid-Grade Spirit Stone Mine, three Low-Grade Spirit Stone Mines, and five Second-Grade Spirit Ore Mines.”

“Regarding Spirit Beast resources, the Family raises Water Spirit Shell colonies, including six Fourth-Grade Water Spirit Shells, eighty Third-Grade Water Spirit Shells, and four hundred Second-Grade Water Spirit Shells.”

“One Blood Crocodile colony, one Mystic Spirit Turtle colony, one Sea Cloud Bird colony, and one Spirit Snake colony.”

“One Celestial Sound Snail colony, including three Fourth-Grade Celestial Sound Snails, and one Seaweed Worm Spirit colony.”

...Lin Yanjiao continued to speak, one after another.

After Lin Yanjiao finished speaking, it was the turn of the various halls.

The Alchemy Hall, Weapon Crafting Hall, Formation Hall, and Talisman Hall were largely similar to what Lin Zewen had previously mentioned.

Among the other halls, the Sword Hall was the most prominent. The Lin Family now had four Purple Mansion Sword Cultivators, and twenty-eight people had comprehended Sword Intent.

This number was already extremely exaggerated, and of course, it was related to the expansion of the Sword Pavilion.

Other halls had also made significant progress. For example, the Spirit Puppet Hall was already able to refine Fourth-Grade Medium Grade Puppets. Although still in experimentation, the potential of the Spirit Puppet Hall was extremely high.

No one had expected that the Lin Family’s progress was even beyond their imagination.

Today’s Family Gathering was surely destined for the annals of history.

Of course, these were what the Lin Family possessed, but they did not include what Lin Shiming possessed.

One must know that Lin Shiming now had the Ziyang Pagoda, a Jiaolong Nest, and six Golden Core Spirit Swords.

He had ten-thousand-year-old Spirit Medicine and a nascent soul fruit Tree.

He had a Gold Core Forming Fruit Tree.

As well as numerous other treasures.

The Family Gathering lasted a full day, and everyone was filled with pride. The Lin Family was now truly flourishing, no longer a Family where only Lin Shiming could stand out.

Everyone could contribute in their respective fields, and the Lin Family now lacked no Legacy; its potential ceiling was immeasurable.

After the Family Gathering dispersed, Lin Shiming kept Lin Yanjiao, Lin Zekong, Lin Zecheng, and Lin Zelu behind.

The four of them were somewhat puzzled, but then Lin Shiming took out four spirit beast pouches.

These spirit beast pouches were still connected to them, clearly containing their Spirit Beasts.

However, in the next moment, through the Soul Restraining Seal, they clearly sensed an aura no weaker than their own.

Purple Mansion Great Demon!

And it was a Jiaolong.

The four were overjoyed. Who wouldn’t want to ride a Jiaolong? But at this moment, they had achieved it.

“Thank you, Seventh Uncle!”

“Thank you, Seventh Grand Uncle!” The few of them thanked him repeatedly.

“Yan Jiao, continue to search for Spirit Snakes with stronger Family Bloodline. The Family still has too few Jiaolongs!”

At this point, he was no longer afraid of Nine Dragon Island. Even if Nine Dragon Island knew that the Lin Family had a golden dragon fruit tree, they might not dare to come and snatch it.

This was the fairness brought by strength.

Moreover, the Lin Family was now proclaimed as a Spirit Snake Family.

Every Jiaolong had Fifth-Grade potential!

With the Jiaolongs handed over and the Family Gathering concluded, for Lin Shiming, the only thing left was the Nascent Soul Conference on Coral Island.

Lin Shiming actually didn’t want to go to this conference; this time, it would definitely not be peaceful.

However, the other party was a True Monarch after all, so he had no choice but to go.

But before going, Lin Shiming headed towards the Family’s North Sword Pavilion.

According to previous estimates, the Autumn Blood Sword should be ready by now.

The Autumn Blood Sword was a Sixth-Grade Magic Treasure that had dropped in rank. Its recovery of strength, comparable to a half-step Nascent Soul, was unquestionable, and this was Lin Shiming’s confidence.

The North Sword Pavilion was still guarded by one person, but the Sword Intent inside was terrifyingly dense.

As soon as Lin Shiming entered, he felt the Sword Intent rushing towards him.

It made him feel quite suppressed, and one must know that his Sword Intent was now comparable to a Sword Domain.

It was conceivable that the Autumn Blood Sword’s strength had probably greatly increased again!

“Senior Qiu Xue, please lend a hand!” Lin Shiming respectfully cupped his hands.

Regarding True Monarch Xueshan, Lin Shiming still felt very uneasy.

Mainly because the opponent’s scheme was too terrifying, playing with everyone in the palm of her hand.
