Chapter 1293: Chapter 693: Completion of the Artifact

The foundation of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” cannot be changed. Li Shiming, through the analysis and calculation of his life-bound magical treasure IBM z15, redesigned the rune array of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak”.

The artifact refining plan designed by Li Shiming for ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” primarily focuses on the force field, with the secondary function being the normal feature of mountain peak type magical treasures, which is to crush enemies.

For a long time before, due to insufficient quality, ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” was reduced to just a container for ten thousand energy-converted flying swords, with its main function never being utilized.

The primary function of all mountain peak type magical treasures is to crush enemies with force.

When a mountain peak, with the strength of ten thousand pounds, crashes onto an enemy, unless there is a significant disparity in grades, the only option for the enemy is to dodge; the likelihood of withstanding it head-on is exceedingly low.

Since Li Shiming has refined ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” into his life-bound magical treasure, he naturally needs to fully develop its functions.

In the period that followed, he continually engraved runes on ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” in the computer room space.

This artifact refining process lasted for one hundred days, leaving only one rune unengraved at the end.

Great Cultivator Luo Pei went out once again, found a rarely traversed area by cultivators, and Li Shiming completed the final rune engraving in the grotto heaven, then released ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” to the outside world.

At this point, ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” had long changed significantly from before.

Due to the massive influence of earth origin energy, ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” no longer contained any low-grade materials; it was entirely constructed with fourth-grade materials, with its main structure and important locations comprised of fourth-grade top materials.

On ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak”, Li Shiming engraved one billion force field runes, five hundred million weight runes, and five hundred million solidity runes.

The reason for being able to engrave such a large number of runes is twofold: that these runes are drawn with a precision of 1 nanometer, and that due to absorbing a vast amount of earth origin energy, the quality of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” surpassed that of the normal fourth-grade top tier, which allowed for more runes to be engraved.

Li Shiming did not alter the array for accommodating sword intent and transmuting sword intent flying swords in ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak”. This part of the array had undergone unknown changes through thousands of years of natural gestation, and he dared not disturb it lightly, lest any mishap cause the loss of this capability of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak”.

The force field runes are a type of rune crafted by the White Emperor Sect for mountain peak type magical treasures, capable of enhancing the force field of such treasures.

Mountain peak type magical treasures, having a mountain peak as their main body, automatically possess a force field upon successful refinement.

This force field serves many purposes, one of which is to restrain the enemy to a certain extent, immobilizing them and suppressing them with the mountain peak type magical treasure.

The sheer number of one billion force field runes left Li Shiming uncertain of the ultimate effect; he merely inscribed the runes based on the maximum capacity of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” itself.

Weight runes, also learned from the White Emperor Sect’s refining knowledge, are used to increase the weight of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak”.

The effect of which shall only be known after ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” is used.

”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” itself is a mountain peak, its weight already incredibly astonishing. With the addition of the force field’s enhancement, its weight can be increased tenfold.

The weight runes serve to fundamentally increase the basic weight of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak”, making the enhancement effect from the force field naturally stronger.

Lastly, the solidity runes, need no further explanation; since ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” is meant to crush, it naturally has to be sufficiently solid.

Great Cultivator Luo Pei tossed ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” out, without any intention of aiding it, merely watching as thunderclouds appeared in the sky.

At this point, Li Shiming’s perspective had long surpassed his current realm, so he had no concerns about the Spirit Treasure Tribulation, confident in his artifact refining capabilities.

He did not leave the grotto heaven; instead, he let the Earth Thunder Nascent Soul enter the body of Great Cultivator Luo Pei, allowing the Earth Thunder Nascent Soul to control ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” from outside the range of the heavenly tribulation.

In the sky above, the first heavenly thunder had already finished brewing and struck down heavily towards ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak”.

All ten thousand energy flying swords on ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” plunged into the mountain itself, demonstrating the advantage of a life-bound magical treasure, as this mountain was otherwise entirely solid.

However, after becoming a life-bound magical treasure, it could transform to an energy form when needed, facilitating the entry of ten thousand similarly energy-converted flying swords into the mountain’s interior.

The surface of ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” was densely covered with five hundred million solidity runes.

Facing the heavenly thunder, apart from retracting the ten thousand energy-converted flying swords, ”Ten Thousand Sword Peak” made no additional maneuvers, allowing the first heavenly thunder to strike directly onto the mountain’s surface.

What does the concept of five hundred million solidity runes mean? It’s likely the first time something like this has appeared in the cultivation world.

Even if powerful entities in the cultivation world possess control at the 1-nanometer level, conceptual barriers prevent such avenues from being explored.

The cost of attempting it is far too prohibitive; crafting at this level requires undivided attention, making the time needed to engrave five hundred million runes exceedingly lengthy when unable to split focus in concentration.

Yet, this isn’t the trickiest part; artifact refining doesn’t merely involve rune engravement—it also requires maintaining energy balance on the artifact blank. Should balance be lost, the magical treasure could be damaged upon completion due to energy imbalance.

With five hundred million runes distributed across the magical treasure, the design issues alone are unsolvable, alongside engravement, the maximum tolerance of experimental materials, etc., the primary hurdle remains a conceptual one.
