Cultivation is just so scientific!

Chapter 1183: Chapter 638: Middle Stage

Inside the cave of Li Shiming from the Ten Thousand Beast Sect, he hasn’t found his breakthrough opportunity in two years, but now it’s no longer necessary.

After two years of accumulation, the bottleneck blocking his breakthrough is as thin as paper, and he feels that just a gentle touch could break it.

Within him, five Nascent Souls are cultivating, and he rarely focuses all his mind on comprehending the Five Elements Dao, without distracting himself with other matters.

Constant comprehension and study of the Five Elements Dao over two years gave him a deeper understanding of the Five Elements.

This is reflected in the five Nascent Souls; their spiritual power, at the peak of the Nascent Soul Early Stage, has reached its limit, but the purity of each’s spiritual power has improved slightly.

”Break for me!” Li Shiming said with a deep voice.

His mind was incredibly focused, and the little faces of the five Nascent Souls were equally serious, as they launched a coordinated assault on the Nascent Soul Middle Stage Bottleneck.

Without much effort, as the five Nascent Souls struck the bottleneck, it instantly broke open.

The energy that originally filled the five Nascent Souls decreased as the Nascent Souls grew.

In fact, it’s not that the energy decreased, but its essence transformed; as the Nascent Soul advanced to the middle stage, the quality of the energy composing the Nascent Soul increased several times.

If comparing the spiritual power at the peak of the Nascent Soul Early Stage with that at the initial entry into the Nascent Soul Middle Stage, it is not all at the level of seven to one.

Seven units of peak Nascent Soul Early Stage spiritual power are required to convert into one unit of initial Nascent Soul Middle Stage spiritual power, and with the Nascent Soul itself enlarging, it naturally seems like there’s much less energy within the Nascent Soul.

The advancement to the Nascent Soul Middle Stage brought with it a new sensation, a feeling of reevaluating the Five Elements Dao from the perspective of the Nascent Soul Middle Stage.

Unlike when he tried to grasp the Five Elements Dao of the Nascent Soul Middle Stage from the Early Stage, the comprehension after truly advancing is real and clearer.

Even Li Shiming felt his understanding of the ’Yuqing Thunder Scripture’ greatly improved after advancing to the Nascent Soul Middle Stage.

Of course, the ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique’, this gold-element cultivation technique, saw a great boost in comprehension due to the insights into the Nascent Soul Middle Stage of the Five Elements Gold Element, reaching the level of the Nascent Soul Middle Stage.

What he didn’t expect was that as his comprehension of the ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique’ reached the Nascent Soul Middle Stage, his avatar Li Yuanba greatly benefited as well.

For any state of comprehension, regardless of the method, it’s impossible to completely impart one’s understanding to other cultivators; much of this comprehension is indescribable, purely a vague feeling.

But between his avatar Li Yuanba and his true self Li Shiming, all perceptions are shared, enabling Li Yuanba to sense every detail of Li Shiming’s breakthrough.

Li Shiming originally thought that his advancement to the Nascent Soul Middle Stage would at most allow his avatar Li Yuanba to share some breakthrough experiences.

But unexpectedly, when Li Yuanba shared Li Shiming’s comprehension of the ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique’, Li Yuanba’s Nascent Soul Middle Stage Bottleneck loosened greatly.

Li Yuanba had reached the peak of the Nascent Soul Early Stage just a few days ago and was still consolidating that stage.

His Nascent Soul Early Stage cultivation was all forcefully raised using the ’Sword Transformation Spirit Liquid’, and he expected it would take several years of constant honing to try and break through the realm.

However, he directly skipped this process, and he could feel the bottleneck could be broken through at any moment.

Li Yuanba’s mind transformed into a flying sword, slashing towards the Nascent Soul Middle Stage Bottleneck.

Upon hitting the Nascent Soul Middle Stage Bottleneck, the mind sword broke it without any resistance.

He felt the transformation of the Nascent Soul within him, with the Nascent Soul growing larger and the hard-won filled energy decreasing by more than half, leaving only a thin layer.

At the same time, under the influence of the Nascent Soul, his body was slowly strengthening, with all the cultivation method runes throughout his body sublimating to the stage of the Nascent Soul Middle Stage runes.

This enhancement process still takes some time, as his sword body ascends continuously from the Nascent Soul Early Stage towards the Nascent Soul Middle Stage.

The successive breakthroughs of the true self and the avatar were indeed a pleasant surprise for Li Shiming.

The breakthrough of the avatar Li Yuanba, driven by him, was not without reason; previously, the ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique’, which Li Yuanba cultivated, he had never practiced.

But at the Nascent Soul Early Stage, Li Shiming used some methods to force the Gold Thunder Nascent Soul to cultivate the ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique’.

He initially just had a whimsical idea, and even with the mastery of the top Sword Cultivation Technique ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique’, he treated it as a secondary cultivation technique and did not pay much attention to it.

But who would have thought, as he advanced to the Nascent Soul Middle Stage and his comprehension of the ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique’ reached the Nascent Soul Middle Stage, his avatar Li Yuanba also advanced directly to the Nascent Soul Middle Stage.

This phenomenon, neither he at the Ten Thousand Beast Sect nor Li Yuanba at the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion had heard of. It seems to be a unique experience in the Cultivation World.

As Li Shiming pondered these things, the five Nascent Souls within him were also changing.

The spiritual power at the initial entry level of the Nascent Soul Middle Stage, gained through advancement, within the five Nascent Souls, transformed under the effect of the Five Elements Qi Absorption Array formed by the five Nascent Souls, into a smaller quantity of Peak of Nascent Soul Stage spiritual power.
