Chapter 175: Chapter 134 Cooperation

With the identity of an Intermediate Array Master, Li Shiming no longer had to worry about Yun’s Trading House.

He arrived at Central Peak and, checking the time, was almost right, he walked toward a pavilion at the foot of the mountain.

There, a late-stage Qi Refining Cultivator was waiting for him, who stood up with a smile upon seeing him come.

“Congratulations on becoming an Intermediate Array Master!” Yu Yong’an said with a smile.

With just this one sentence, Yu Yong’an’s capability was evident. No sooner had Li Shiming become an Intermediate Array Master than Yu Yong’an had already known.

“Brother Yu, you really keep well-informed!” Li Shiming wasn’t surprised and responded with a smile.

He had dealt with Yu Yong’an when handling the sea beast carcasses.

Yu Yong’an had provided him much convenience; he had bought most of the sea beast carcasses, offering a very fair price that did not depress the price due to the large quantity.

Moreover, the most critical point was that the Yu in Yu Yong’an and the Yu in Yu Gu, the Sect Leader of Sky Sea Hall, was the same Yu.

The trading house behind Yu Yong’an was Hidden Dragon Trading House, which Li Shiming understood to be a rather high-ranking trading house within the sect, backed by the Sect Leader’s faction.

Of course, Yu Sect Leader wouldn’t interfere with the operations of Hidden Dragon Trading House, not even greeting when issues arose.

But having such a title made many matters easy to settle. When Yu Sect Leader remained silent, other Cultivators from the Sect Leader’s faction would step forward.

Li Shiming took out tea utensils and brewed some Spiritual Tea from his storage bag, then poured a cup for Yu Yong’an.

“Junior Li, this Spiritual Tea tastes good. Drinking this cup of tea is indeed worth helping you out!” Yu Yong’an joked after sipping the tea.

“I am here to seek a partnership with Brother Yu this time!” Li Shiming, knowing how astute businessmen were, didn’t bother with small talk and directly placed “Thousand-Mile Mutual View Second Generation” on the stone table.

Yu Yong’an showed no surprise that Li Shiming had brought out “Thousand-Mile Mutual View”; he even knew more.

Although Yun’s Trading House had always obscured the origin of “Thousand-Mile Mutual View,” backed by the sect’s intelligence system, he had known early on about the identity of its maker.

“Oh!” He quickly noticed the differences in the “Thousand-Mile Mutual View” placed in front of him.

Obviously, the “Thousand-Mile Mutual View” on the stone table was somewhat larger and also more intricate.

“Junior Li, did you improve the ‘Thousand-Mile Mutual View’?” Yu Yong’an guessed, with a gleam in his eyes.

Hidden Dragon Trading House never went after stealing business, but when it saw an opportunity to expand business, it would certainly not let it pass.

“This is the ‘Thousand-Mile Mutual View Second Generation’. Of course, if needed, you can change the name to anything. It has a larger display screen, clearer quality, and in addition to the basic peer-to-peer communication, it includes a group chat feature, allowing multiple persons to confer simultaneously with the host able to control which Cultivators appear in the chat.” Li Shiming explained with a smile.

For functions that were quite common in his previous life, it wouldn’t have required the “Thousand-Mile Mutual View Second Generation” hardware upgrade, a simple software update would suffice.

But Li Shiming didn’t opt for that, because the profits weren’t sufficient. If Yun’s Trading House had been in better terms with him, perhaps he might have considered helping them upgrade.

Under the current circumstances, he needed to keep his own Dao heart stable; he intended to take actions against Yun’s Trading House.

Now that he himself had acquired the status of an Intermediate Array Master and Yun’s Trading House couldn’t touch him, he chose to cooperate with Hidden Dragon Trading House, which had a stronger background, sufficient to strike a heavy blow to Yun’s Trading House.

Yu Yong’an thought for a moment, rapidly organizing the information Li Shiming had provided, and the benefits “Thousand-Mile Mutual View Second Generation” would bring to the trading house.

“Does that mean ‘Thousand-Mile Mutual View Second Generation’ can actually represent an auction?” he couldn’t help but ask.

It wasn’t that he was not astute or unaware of the implications, but Li Shiming’s concept was too advanced, and he was somewhat hard-pressed to accept it immediately.

“You could say that. Each group chat is like an auction, with the host acting as the auctioneer!” Li Shiming elaborated with a smile.

“Then could we have the rights to establish a group chat rather than having it done arbitrarily?” Yu Yong’an pursued eagerly, his eyes almost gleaming with fervor.

“That wouldn’t be a problem; I can add access rights to your designated ‘Thousand-Mile Mutual View Second Generations.ʼ” Li Shiming noted his ambition.

“Junior Li, Hidden Dragon Commerce isn’t like Yun’s Trading House. Given your status in the sect, you needn’t worry about us. I’ll draft a contract once I get back, and then we can start formal cooperation!” Yu Yong’an earnestly stated.

His words were sincere, for from his father Yu Sect Leader, he had learnt about Li Shiming’s background.

Who would have thought that this simply backgrounded Li Shiming had a deep connection with Yin Shilan?

If Yun’s Trading House knew of Li Shiming’s connections, no matter how courageous they were, they wouldn’t dare offend him.

Let alone the connections through Yin Shilan, just the revelation of Li Shiming’s status as an Intermediate Array Master alone would lead Yun’s Trading House to remorse deeply.

One day later, Li Shiming and Yu Yong’an signed a detailed contract which, even after analysis by an IBM z15, revealed no flaws.

The contract was highly considerate of him, ensuring his benefits while minimizing any possible trouble.

Two hundred units of “Thousand-Mile Mutual View Second Generation” were sent out, the price Yu Yong’an offered to Li Shiming being three hundred Spirit Stones each. As to how much Hidden Dragon Trading House could sell them for, that was no longer a concern of Li Shiming.
