Complete Martial Arts Attributes

1483 Why Is He There? (2)

The Wood Polaris Flame had a special characteristic. It was mild; easy to tame and control.

This wasn’t the case for the Star Phoenix Flame or the Scorching Beast Flame, which had animalistic traits and were more ferocious.

Still, it was all the same for Wang Teng.

Having a divine flame, all the other flames would act like a group of little brats that could only stay obedient.

An additional flame would help him increase the power of the Dragon Blood Battle Physique by a margin, which was also a considerable gain.

The attribute bubbles dropped by the other dukedoms’ members weren’t worth mentioning. They were just some Force, enlightenment and ultima attributes.

Unfortunately, Wang Teng’s five element Forces and ultimas were already maxed out. There was no point in getting more attribute bubbles of their kind.

On the other hand, improving his enlightenment attributes would be beneficial.

There was never too much enlightenment for anyone.

Once he took stock of his gains, he no longer hesitated and decided to slay the Oceanic Unicorn Whale right then and there.

…

On the virtual universe live chat platform, many were still following the monster’s movements. The Third Prince as well.

“The Oceanic Unicorn Whale is going to leave the sea trench!”

“I didn’t expect it to be that huge. But it isn’t slow at all.”

“The whale is so pitiful. It’s bleeding a lot.”

“I wonder how long it’ll take to bleed dry.”

“What? I told you it’s pitiful and you’re talking about it bleeding dry. Is that really the issue here?”

“It’s not about that. If it bleeds dry, it’ll die; I’m worried about it.”

“…Makes sense.”

“Where do you think it’s going? Back to its den? Does the Oceanic Unicorn Whale have a nest of something?”

“If it does, it should be huge.”

“Who knows? There might be one.”

…

A bunch of boring people were discussing boring topics. Suddenly, everyone noticed that there was a violent wave surging towards the great whale.

A group of large sharks were charging towards it, although they weren’t as large; at most some were a third of its size, but there were many of them.

Eight of them in total.

Among all the star beasts in the sea, eight of those star beasts were considered a large group.

“Oh no, the Oceanic Unicorn Whale is so unlucky.”

“They look like Hellish Sea Tiger Sharks!”

“Damn it. The one who talked earlier is a jinx. He said it and it came true.”

“…What does it have to do with me?!”

“Those sharks look fierce. The whale is injured already; can it deal with them?”

…

In the depths of the sea—the Oceanic Unicorn Whale and the Hellish Sea Tiger Sharks ran into each other and there was a moment of recognition. A foreseeable clash was about to take place.

Everyone tensed up.

The sharks bared their fangs, eyes glowing red with excitement.

Roar!

They let out beastly roars and scared the two, slightly smaller Oceanic Unicorn Whales.

They then stopped and clung tightly to the largest creature, not daring to move forward.

The tiger sharks didn’t hesitate and rushed towards their prey in an instant.

Roar!

Just then—the largest of the three whales let out a loud roar, while blue light burst out of its spiral-shaped horn on its forehead.

The Hellish Sea Tiger Sharks paused, feeling wary. They perceived the blue light as menacing.

However, at that moment, the large whale’s body shook all of a sudden, with the blue light on its horn dissipating. Its pair of massive eyes widened in disbelief.

Boom!

There was a loud noise.

It was followed by a ray of bright purple light that pierced the back of the massive cetacean. That spot was where its heart was.

Roar!

The Oceanic Unicorn Whale roared unwillingly at the last moment of its life. It exhausted all its strength and finally died.

The sudden scene came as a shock to all the viewers.

There was dead silence on the live chat platform.

In the waiting area—the Third Prince was equally astonished. His head was in a mess as he looked at the abruptly killed monster. What happened?

Was it a hidden wound left by their previous attacks that just acted out?

That wasn’t right, though. The purple light was related to a lightning Force attack. There wasn’t anyone among the former group using lightning Force.

The Hellish Sea Tiger Sharks were just as stunned.

What did they do?

Why did the whale suddenly die?

The sharks froze in place, forgetting to attack altogether. Their minds were filled with questions.

A figure then appeared next to the dead Oceanic Unicorn Whale.

He didn’t expect to find other star beasts nearby. The Hellish Sea Tiger Sharks surprised him somewhat.

“Wang Teng!” Everyone recognized him. Their minds were blown after a moment of confusion.

“How come he’s there?”

“Oh my god. Did he kill the Oceanic Unicorn Whale?”

“Wait, that purple light just now, it looked like a lightning Force technique. Wang Teng is a lightning element warrior!”

“It must be him. Otherwise, why appear now?”

“My god! I know now.”

“What do you know?”

“Wang Teng must have sneaked into the whale’s stomach during the confusion and found an opportunity to pierce its heart from within, making an easier kill.”

“…That must be it!”

“I was wondering where he had gone to, plus the Virtual Universe Corporation was specially following the whale during the broadcast. They normally don’t focus on star beasts; it turns out that Wang Teng was inside its belly.”

“Wow, he did it. He really caught me off guard!”

“Aside from Wang Teng, no one else would have come up with such a method.”

“There’s a risk of being digested if you enter the creature’s stomach. No one else would dare to do it.”

…

Many people were quick in guessing the young hero’s killing method, immediately stirring up waves.

It was really unexpected; the powerful high-tier imperial Oceanic Unicorn Whale was killed in such a way.

Killing it from the inside. It wasn’t just something others wouldn’t do; they wouldn’t even consider it.

Who would have dared to enter the Oceanic Unicorn Whale’s stomach?

If not careful, he would have put his life at risk.

Wang Teng dared to do it since he was adventurous.

In the end, the results were magnificent. He was unscathed, and even looked relaxed. The process of killing that big whale wasn’t too difficult for him.

Compared to the Third Prince, the young hero’s kill was simply beautiful.

It was a perfect hunt!

Another high-tier imperial star beast died in Wang Teng’s hands. It wasn’t just because of his absolute strength, but also wits that others lacked.

Wang Teng undoubtedly had a certain quality that other talents didn’t possess.

The Third Prince turned pale as he saw the latter on the back of the whale. He then gradually became gloomy.

Someone whom he had never seen as a competitor was standing higher than him; and even stepping on his reputation.

Now, many were probably comparing him with Wang Teng.

Their failure would be ridiculed.

“Very well!” The Third Prince thought about it and clenched his fists. A cold light flashed in his eyes as he uttered those two words.
