89: The power of the saint’s hand bones!Boom boom boom...!

The battle between Great Buddha Temple and other forces like Hundred Flowers Valley quickly escalated into a white-hot phase.

The sounds of slaughter, roars, screams, and weapons piercing flesh were incessant and continuous.

However, Hundred Flowers Valley and the other forces had all underestimated the combat power of Great Buddha Temple.

They had thought that with their combined forces, taking down Great Buddha Temple would be effortless.

But unexpectedly, Great Buddha Temple’s combat power was astonishingly strong.

This was because in recent years, Great Buddha Temple had seen many unfamiliar faces; they were all Yuan Kong’s brothers from his time as a Notorious Bandit.

By day, they were revered monks in people’s eyes; by night, he was still that Notorious Bandit, stealing treasures from other forces.

Boom boom boom...!

As the battle grew more intense, the people from Hundred Flowers Valley and the other forces gradually fell into a disadvantage.

Even the Valley Master of Hundred Flowers Valley was sent flying by Yuan Kong’s palm strike, blood spilling from her mouth.

At this moment, Hua Qianmo and the others truly realized the strength of Great Buddha Temple.

In people’s eyes, Great Buddha Temple and Hundred Flowers Valley were equally renowned existences.

Yet now, Great Buddha Temple, facing the siege of Hundred Flowers Valley and other forces, did not fall behind in the slightest, which was truly shocking.

Especially those monks who were formerly Notorious Bandits, looking at the already injured Valley Master Hua Qianmo, they licked their tongues, their eyes filled with lewdness.

”Amitabha! Benefactress Hua, you led people to attack my Great Buddha Temple without reason. From now on, you shall fast and chant Buddhist scriptures in my Great Buddha Temple for three years! After three years, you may leave!”

Yuan Kong looked at Hua Qianmo, who possessed excellent looks and figure, and spoke without politeness.

”Damn bald donkey! You want to keep me? Delusional!”

Hua Qianmo cursed in a low voice and once again charged at Yuan Kong.

”Hmph...! You refuse a toast, so you’ll drink a forfeit!”

Seeing this, Yuan Kong snorted coldly and once again engaged Hua Qianmo in battle, forcefully suppressing her.

Meanwhile, Wang Teng, who was waiting for the Great Buddha Temple’s treasury guardian to make a move, had already frowned.

”Why haven’t Hundred Flowers Valley and the other forces taken down Great Buddha Temple yet?”

”If Great Buddha Temple isn’t pushed into a dangerous situation, how will the treasury guardian easily make a move?”

Wang Teng moved his feet and went to see what was happening.

It was better not to look, but upon looking, he was astonished to find that even with Hundred Flowers Valley and the other forces combined, they were no match for Great Buddha Temple.

”This won’t do!”

”I must put some pressure on Great Buddha Temple! Force the treasury guardian to make a move!”

As Wang Teng’s words fell, he directly took out the saints hand bone.

As the abbot of Great Buddha Temple, Yuan Kong’s strength, while not powerful enough to stand at the Peak of Qian Province, was still an influential force.

To kill him, he would have to rely on the saints hand bone.

The next moment, Wang Teng’s magical power surged around him, fully activating the saints hand bone.

”Om...!”

In an instant, the saints hand bone erupted with a dazzling golden light, like a great sun rising, illuminating this part of the sky, and the sound of Dao boomed between heaven and earth.

The previously silent finger bone now suddenly burst forth with billions of Holy Light, five finger joints slowly unfurling like five ancient Saint mountains, actually evolving a miniature Universe in the Void Realm, with stars being born and dying, and Law intertwining.

”Go...!”

Wang Teng’s expression was serious as he cried out in a low voice.

Immediately, the saints hand bone transformed into a golden hand that covered the sky and the sun, directly striking towards Yuan Kong, the abbot of Great Buddha Temple.

In the center of the palm, a Holy Light millstone, condensed from Dao runes, slowly rotated; wherever it passed, the Void Realm shattered, and the earth rumbled.

This sudden scene immediately shocked everyone present.

”A Saint... a Saint? No... no, it’s just a section of a Saint’s hand bone...!”

Countless people exclaimed.

At this moment, Yuan Kong, the abbot of Great Buddha Temple, was greatly shaken, his pupils constricted.

”I never expected Hundred Flowers Valley and the other forces to have such a trump card...!”

”Great Compassion Thousand Buddha Hands!”

Yuan Kong’s face was extremely solemn, and he directly used his unique skill.

He clasped his hands together, and behind him, thousands of illusory Buddha hands suddenly appeared, their golden light as brilliant as the sun breaking through clouds.

These hands either formed mudras, held lotuses, or gripped demon-subduing pestles, emerging from the Void Realm in layers, actually obscuring the entire sky until only vast Buddhist light remained.

He slightly closed his eyes, his lips uttering Sanskrit sounds, each word transforming into golden runes and merging into the Buddha hands.

In an instant, hundreds of giant hands simultaneously struck the saints hand bone, and before the palm wind even arrived, the ground had already cracked into spiderweb-like ravines, and shattered stones shot into the sky like startled birds.

When the foremost Buddha hands collided with the saints hand bone, there was a crisp sound like shattering glass, and they instantly broke apart.

The remaining Buddha hands continued forward, meeting the saints hand bone; some transformed into vajra pestles, some into alms bowls, and countless slender hands scattered golden light like sweet dew, wherever they passed, the Void Realm rippled in layers, almost tearing apart.

Boom boom boom...!

The moment the Great Compassion Thousand Buddha Hands and the saints hand bone fully collided, all sounds in heaven and earth were sucked away, leaving only billions of Buddha chants and a Saint’s whisper, piercing through ancient and modern times, constantly clashing in the Void Realm.

Golden light and jade radiance erupted with a scorching white intensity like the sun’s core, and an extremely powerful shockwave swept out, shaking all directions.

When the collision gradually subsided, Wang Teng had already put away the saints hand bone and continued to hide, but at this moment, his face was somewhat pale, and even his own magical power was almost drained by the saints hand bone.

There was no other way; without fully activating the saints hand bone, it would be impossible to kill Yuan Kong, the abbot of Great Buddha Temple.

At this moment, Yuan Kong’s arm had exploded into a bloody mist, and even his body had become strangely twisted due to the immense pressure, his entire person frozen in place.

”Grandmaster... please make a move...!”

Yuan Kong used his last bit of strength to let out a sorrowful roar, his eyes fixed on Valley Master Hua Qianmo, filled with unwillingness and resentment.

”I never expected that your Hundred Flowers Valley and other forces would possess such a trump card as the saints hand bone!”

With a thud!

Yuan Kong’s corpse fell to the ground, completely losing all signs of life.

However, Valley Master Hua Qianmo was a little confused at this moment.

The saints hand bone was a trump card of her Hundred Flowers Valley and other forces? How did she not know?

The people from the other forces also looked at each other, completely unclear about the situation.

It was at this moment... a long, melodious bell chime echoed from within Great Buddha Temple, resounding through the clouds and extending for a thousand li.

Where the bell chime reached, the wind and clouds changed color, and rays of auspicious light shone in all directions.

Everyone, as if by prior agreement, looked in the direction from which the bell chime came.

Soon, a golden Buddhist light shot up into the sky, straight to the Ninth Heaven.

Within the Buddhist light, an old monk wearing a red kasaya slowly walked out.

His face was gaunt, but his eyes were sharp and bright, like two Colored Glaze (lapis lazuli) pearls.

The terrifying aura emanating from him made everyone present feel as if they were looking up at an ancient divine mountain, feeling immense pressure.

”Amitabha...! You all killed my Great Buddha Temple’s abbot, shouldn’t you give this old monk an explanation?”

The old monk’s voice was not loud, but it was full of endless majesty and killing intent, clearly reaching everyone’s ears, causing everyone present to change their expressions dramatically.

Wang Teng, who was hiding, saw the old monk finally leave the treasury, and a brilliant smile immediately appeared on his face.

”You finally came out!”

Wang Teng did not hesitate and headed straight for the Great Buddha Temple’s treasury...
