The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2550: Chaos Scarlet Throne (I)

The three Royal Guards stood upon Cain’s shoulders, their gazes shifting between him and the Ocean of the Blood Sun below. They could feel it clearly—something monumental was about to unfold. None of them dared to speak. Even the slightest distraction could disrupt whatever process their master was about to begin, and the weight of that realization kept them silent.

Cain inhaled slowly, steadying his mind as his focus locked onto the vast crimson ocean.

Although his Primordial Essence and soul had long since been transferred into his Royal Blutlinie body, the Ocean of the Blood Sun remained an extension of himself. It was not separate in any meaningful way; it was no different from his own heart or brain. That intrinsic connection made it perfect.

The Scarlet Throne, alongside the Flow and the Asura Form, had originally been inherited abilities—powers carried over from his past existence. However, Cain had never been one to rely solely on inheritance. Throughout his journey, he had continuously refined and reshaped those abilities, forging his own path.

He had already done so with the Flow. During his time in the Red King’s Sacred Dimension, he deepened his understanding, and later, within the Endless River, he further elevated it, carving out a version that was uniquely his own.

The same applied to the Asura Form. He had not only mastered it but created variations tailored to his different bodies—Primordial, Neo-Demon, and Neo-Hybrid. After encountering the Masked Race, he deciphered its deeper principles, eventually integrating it as a passive function within his Royal Blutlinie body.

Training the Asura Path allowed him to push that evolution even further.

Naturally, the Scarlet Throne should obey the same principle. While begging as an inheritance, Cain could find a way to forge it on his own.

However, this was where the difficulty truly began.

Unlike the Flow or the Asura Form, the Scarlet Throne operated on principles that transcended the Third Realm. Before entering Paradise, Cain had believed it to be merely a peak Third Realm ability. Now, with his expanded understanding, he recognized the truth—it was undeniably a Fourth Realm power.

That realization made perfect sense. The Scarlet Throne was, at its core, a dimension capable of imprisoning souls for eternity, forcing them into a self-contained cycle of reincarnation. It ignored the fundamental laws of life and death, imposing its own order upon existence itself.

Such a phenomenon could not be born from the Third Realm.

To build the matrix of an ability of that magnitude, one would normally require the power of a true Fourth Realm existence.

However, the Scarlet King did not need to start from zero.

For hundreds of years, he had wielded the Scarlet Thrones of both the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe and the Crimson World. Their essence, structure, and underlying laws were deeply engraved into his soul and Primordial Essence. With his current cultivation, he could tap into that knowledge and use it as a foundation.

”The Scarlet Throne of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe,” Cain murmured, his voice calm yet distant, ”was primarily connected to the Aspect of Will, and secondarily to the Aspect of Soul. That is why it manifested as the Primarch of Conquest Leviathan’s heart.”

Morningstar, Satan, and Hades listened intently, though they understood that Cain was not truly speaking to them. He was organizing his thoughts aloud, unraveling the principles step by step.

”The Scarlet Throne of the Crimson World,” he continued, ”was forged within my own heart. It was tied to the Aspect of Body and served as a secondary anchor for my life force, granting me those terrifying regenerative abilities.”

Cain fell silent after that, his brows furrowing slightly as he delved deeper into the memories and insights embedded within his Primordial Essence. These were truths he had once been too weak to fully comprehend, but now, with his current strength and cultivation, he could begin to piece them together.

Days passed in complete stillness.

The Royal Guards did not move, did not speak, and did not question. They simply waited.

At last, Cain’s eyes opened, glowing with a radiant clarity that bordered on enlightenment.

”At their core,” he said slowly, ”both of those thrones were manifestations of the Power of Order. They bind others to a world under my control—a domain where my will is absolute, where even death cannot occur unless I permit it.”

The Power of Order had always been shrouded in mystery for Cain. He understood that it was not inferior to Chaos in any way, yet his own mastery over it was limited.

There had been plentiful times when he had used the Power of Order to face impossible odds and turned the tables against very powerful enemies, such as his solo fight against the Imperium of Time.

Yet every time he used them, he could feel his mind and personality changing. That was not real mastery.

The Scarlet King had seen only two Masters of Order in his life.

He recalled the battle against Dark Sky in Aether, as well as his first journey into the Heart of the Root. During those moments, another entity had taken control of his body and wielded the Power of Order with a mastery so profound that it still felt unreal to him.

Even now, he was nowhere near that level.

And the second was his brother.

Unlike Cain, whose connection to Order often suppressed his emotions, his brother maintained perfect balance. He could wield Order while retaining his humanity, and more importantly, he could fuse it seamlessly with the Flow, creating abilities of terrifying complexity and power.

Yet Cain did not feel discouraged.

Order was not his path.

Chaos was.

”And if Order can be used to forge a Scarlet Throne,” Cain said, his eyes sharpening with resolve, ”then Chaos can achieve the same result. It will simply take a different form.”

The theory was already complete in his mind. What remained was execution.

”I have the framework. I have the power. Now I need to bring it into reality.”

Cain exhaled deeply before raising his hand.

The next moment, the sky trembled.

Millions upon millions of bodies appeared, suspended in the air before falling like a torrential storm into the Ocean of the Blood Sun. The sheer number was staggering, and it continued to rise until it reached hundreds of millions.

Even then, Cain did not stop.

This was not something that could begin with a small seed and grow over time.

To forge a Scarlet Throne aligned with Chaos, he needed to complete it in a single act—to elevate it instantly into a true Fourth Realm ability.

That required an unimaginable amount of energy.

More than energy, it required life, essence, and sacrifice on a scale that defied comprehension.

Every single one of those bodies represented a Blutlinie lifeform, each carrying immense vitality and power. Only through their total sacrifice could Cain gather the resources necessary to bring his vision into existence.

His gaze hardened as he looked down at the ocean, now swelling with countless corpses.

There was no hesitation.

If he wanted to stand against what was coming, if he wanted even the slightest chance of surviving a confrontation with a true Fourth Realm entity, then this was the price he had to pay.

And he was more than willing to pay it.
