The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2025: Falling into Order

Amon’s eyes widened in disbelief. His body convulsed as an overwhelming wave of gravitational force surged through his blood, paralyzing him instantly. The strike was merciless, leaving him helpless in midair.

The source revealed herself in the next breath. A fearsome goddess emerged, cloaked in crimson scales that shimmered like molten rubies, each etched with the weight of cosmic law. Her vast wings, veined with blackened scarlet, stretched across the heavens, blotting out the light as gravity itself bent around her. Entire fields of force warped and twisted, dragging even the strongest cultivators toward her presence.

Orbiting her form were spheres of blood fused with crushing gravity, swirling in tandem like miniature worlds of flesh and void. Their pull was irresistible, merging the essence of life with the relentlessness of cosmic annihilation.

It was none other than Divine Sea.

Her eyes, once calm and loyal, now blazed with merciless intent. With a single gesture she paralyzed Amon, leaving him exposed. Polo seized the moment, driving a savage strike directly into Amon’s chest. Blood erupted in all directions as the Godslayer Human was forced back into his humanoid form.

Before the Scarlet Kingdom’s warriors could react, Divine Sea extended her will. The spilled blood froze in the air, condensed, then warped into a crimson sphere that enveloped Amon entirely. In the next instant the sphere collapsed inward, shrinking until it rested in her palm like a prisoner’s cage.

Inside were not only Amon’s body but also the Prima Deities he had been carrying in his spatial treasures.

It happened so fast that no one could comprehend it. In the blink of an eye, one of the Scarlet Kingdom’s pillars had been captured by betrayal.

”Brother!”

Bael’s roar shook the battlefield. His usual composure cracked, fear naked in his expression as he saw his kin taken. That moment of distraction was all Gilgamesh needed. With a feral grin, the ancient monster unleashed his power. His massive war axe came down in a brutal arc, nearly splitting Bael’s skull. Instead, it carved deep into the Infernal Daemon’s chest, blood spilling as Bael staggered back in agony.

Cain felt a hollow pit open within him. Divine Sea had betrayed them at the worst possible moment. He could not fathom why or how she hid his true intention from him. Yet there was no time to think.

The ArchDeities of the Imperium of Time, emboldened by treachery, unleashed their killing intent like a storm. Divine Sea joined them, her spheres of crushing force smashing into Scarlet warriors with merciless precision.

”Hahaha... where are you looking, little king?” the eldritch voice mocked.

Legion unleashed waves of distorted gravity that poured from every direction, twisting Cain’s colossal body, threatening to implode his very bones. Azazel followed in perfect synchronicity, his serpentine form lashing forward, claws rending through Cain’s flesh and slowing his movements.

The world collapsed around him. One traitor had stolen a cornerstone of his power, while his remaining warriors were cut down by relentless foes. Their formation faltered as their injuries mounted. If things continued, the ocean itself would become the tomb of the Scarlet Kingdom.

Cain’s mind burned with desperation, yet he could not find an answer.

Legion and Azazel sensed the fracture in his focus. They seized the opportunity.

Azazel’s wings flared, his serpentine maw opening wide. A torrent of annihilation burst forth—a beam of white fire and temporal distortion, collapsing space as it roared forward.

At the same time, Legion’s core erupted in pure darkness. Its orbs pulsed, channeling the totality of its existence into a single psychic inferno. The void screamed as the eldritch god poured its essence into destruction.

The two attacks merged, becoming a singular cataclysmic beam of psychic and elemental power. It struck the Primarch of Conquest with such overwhelming force that his titanic draconic body ruptured. Flesh split, bone shattered, wings torn apart as he was forced back into his humanoid form.

The blast hurled him down into the ocean floor with apocalyptic force. For a moment, the world itself trembled, continents shaking as shockwaves tore across the seas.

Cain’s body broke under the impact. Every bone screamed with cracks. His organs faltered, systems shutting down one after another. His mind dimmed, consciousness slipping. The line between life and death blurred.

Yet his will clawed against the void. He forced himself back into reality, refusing to surrender. If he fell now, the Scarlet Kingdom would be annihilated.

His eyes, dim with exhaustion, filled with conflicting emotions.

Betrayal.

Divine Sea had turned on him, delivering Amon into enemy hands.

Despair.

His army was faltering, drowning in wounds and blood, unable to reach the safety of the Formation’s webway.

Fear.

If the Scarlet Kingdom perished here, all who followed the Scarlet Path would be hunted down and massacred. His people, his friends, his family—every man, woman, and child who placed their faith in him—would be erased.

Even the will of the Primarch of Conquest faltered before such horror. Too many emotions burned inside him, clouding his judgment, slowing his movements. Fear of failure weighed on him more than Azazel’s claws or Legion’s darkness.

When he was a child, he had nothing—no kingdom, no followers, no burden but his own life. There had been no fear then. Now, trillions rested on his shoulders. The fate of the world hung in his next choice, and he did not know what the right one was.

Cain closed his eyes, exhaling a shuddering breath.

”Ahhh...” A sigh escaped him, weary yet resolute. He knew what had to be done.

There was one weapon left.

He had used it before, many times. But the stronger he became, the sharper his will grew, the more he sensed the danger of relying on its power. Especially here, in the Empyrean World. It was a tool of last resort, a path he did not wish to take since he did not know if he would come back.

But all else had failed.

When Cain opened his eyes again, they were empty. No fear. No hesitation. No grief.

Only one thing remained.

ORDER.

Without emotions to hinder his clarity, without any attachment clouding his judgment, he saw the path forward. Cold, precise, absolute.

Two radiant spheres appeared in his hands. With a calmness that defied the chaos around him, Cain pressed them into his chest and skull, crushing them into his very being.
