My Youth Began With Him

“Although I was first in the monthly exam last time, I was lucky. I might become the second in class in the future… So, in order not to embarrass myself, I have to stay home and study.”

Qin Chu’s explanation wasn’t for Liu Siying, but for Ms. Yao.

“Then… It’s fine so long as you’ve thought about it.”

Ms. Yao would not force them. It all depended on the children’s feelings.

“Qin Chu… I’m doing this for…” Before Liu Siying could finish her sentence.

Qin Chu continued to play games with his head lowered. What was scarier than indifference was disregard.

Huo Mian felt bad; she knew that Qin Chu wasn’t going because of her.

Seeing that everyone had decided, Ms. Yao did not mention this matter and continued with the lesson.

After the bell rang, once Ms. Yao left.

Liu Siying ignored her image and ran in front of Qin Chu.

“Qin Chu…”

“Excuse me, I’m going to the washroom.”

Liu Siying: “…”

Qin Chu stood up and looked at Huo Mian. “Do you want to come with me?”

Huo Mian was dumbfounded.

“I… I can’t go to the male washroom, can I?” Huo Mian asked a silly question and the students around her burst into laughter.

Qin Chu’s face darkened…

“You can go to the female washroom beside…”

“Oh, that’s fine too. I’ll come then.”

Huo Mian got up and followed Qin Chu out.

Qin Chu was actually afraid that Liu Siying would make things difficult for Huo Mian while he was not around.

After all, she was just a teenage girl and didn’t know how to fight.

At that time, Huo Mian wasn’t as sharp-tongued. After all, she was still young and inexperienced.

Zhu Lingling, on the other hand, was born with the power to fight against the heavens and Gao Ran.

“Wow… What’s up with them? Are they really together?” a classmate asked.

“I suppose so. I saw them eating on the second floor of the cafeteria yesterday.”

“Qin Chu doesn’t have high standards… I thought his girlfriend would be the school belle.”

“It’s not a loss, Huo Mian is a straight-A student.”

“Shut up, you guys are so annoying… Do you still want to go on the weekend field trip?”

The more Liu Siying listened, the more frustrated she became.

Everyone was so scared that they fell silent…

Then, she returned to her seat and covered her head with her school uniform. She leaned on the table and sobbed.

It was a terrible day for her.

She felt that everything she had done to beg her father was about to go down the drain.

Qin Chu didn’t appreciate it and rejected her without giving her any face.

She wanted to wait until everyone was asleep during the trip and take the opportunity to approach Qin Chu.

Or she could pretend to be injured and let Qin Chu carry her. But it seemed like everything was ruined.

She seemed to understand why Qin Chu wasn’t going.

Liu Siying really hated herself, so she might as well let Huo Mian come. If Huo Mian came, Qin Chu would come too.

Along the corridor…

Huo Mian followed behind Qin Chu without saying a word.

“Go back and tell your mom that you’re going on a field trip this weekend.”

Qin Chu ordered domineeringly.

“Ah… but I’m not going…” Huo Mian froze.

“I’ll take you.”

“Pfft… just the two of us?”

“We can also ask Zhu Lingling and Gao Ran along,” Qin Chu said.

Then, before Huo Mian could say anything, he added, “If you don’t think it’s safe, you can bring more people with you. Your brother too…”

“No, that’s not what I meant.” Huo Mian saw that Qin Chu misunderstood and explained.

“Then it’s settled.”

“Huh?” Huo Mian didn’t know what to say; she hadn’t agreed yet. What did he mean by that? This guy was too domineering.

“Qin Chu, I…” Huo Mian was thinking about how to turn him down without making him angry.

“This is the male washroom, please behave yourself.” Then, Qin Chu turned around and walked inside.

Huo Mian immediately stopped in her tracks with an awkward expression on her face. She quickly ran back to the female washroom. She was so focused on her speech that she forgot about this. It was so awkward… so awkward that she almost died.
