My Youth Began With Him

Huo Mian smiled and continued, “Today, I begged my husband to buy over the South Side for me… Aren’t you rich? I want to be like you, a super-rich tycoon… You’re so generous with your spending… After I buy the South Side, I can continue to be the director. When the time comes, you have to support me. When you wake up, tell all of Imperial Star’s employees that they have to go to the South Side twice a day… That way, I won’t have to worry about my business…”

Huo Mian muttered to herself in Su Yu’s room…

An listened at the door for a while and felt uncomfortable.

“Master Wu, why do I feel like President Huo is crazy? Why is she talking to my boss?” An walked over and said to Master Wu.

“What do you know? This is called… missing someone…”

Master Wu shook his head and looked at An, who said that Huo Mian was crazy.

“Okay, okay, you guys are cultured people, I’m just a boorish man who doesn’t understand you guys… I’m going to go buy some groceries… I’m going to make Mandarin Squirrelfish, my boss’s favorite, today. If he wakes up, he’ll be able to eat delicious fish…”

An pinned his hopes on every day.

.

He even fantasized that when he wakes up one day, he would see his boss in his bathrobe, sitting in the living room drinking beer, playing with his phone, and watching football.

That would be a huge surprise…

After An left…

Huo Mian sat in Su Yu’s room alone for a while and chatted with him.

Then she got up and said, “I’m leaving now. You have to wake up quickly. I’ll come and see you in a few days… I’ll bring you flowers then… Do you like lilies or hyacinths?”

There was still no response…

“If you don’t say anything, it means that you like both. Then I’ll buy some of both.”

Then, Huo Mian picked up her bag and left.

The moment she went out, she saw Master Wu standing at the door.

He was smoking…

Huo Mian accidentally glanced at Master Wu’s cigarette.

He immediately snuffed it out. “Sorry. I’m a heavy smoker.”

“It’s okay, I’m about to give birth, it doesn’t matter,” Huo Mian said.

“Can we have a chat?”

“Okay.”

Huo Mian knew that this person was Su Yu’s master and was a good person. He had helped them a lot, so she agreed to Master Wu’s request.

The two of them walked to the balcony and looked at the scenery outside…

Master Wu spoke first, “I know that the person Su Yu couldn’t let go of was actually you… The second time he entered the dream, he said it was for everyone, but ultimately it was to save you.”

Huo Mian didn’t say anything, but she felt like crying.

“I’ve finally seen this kid’s temper. He’s as stubborn as an old cow… Even as his master, he refused to listen to me… Back then, I even said, ‘You have money and power, and you don’t lack anything. It wasn’t easy for you to escape from the incubus, so just live well and don’t go back.’ But he refused, and he used the fastest method to return… He had even bid farewell to his family before leaving…”

“He was afraid that his family would be sad,” Huo Mian said.

Master Wu nodded. “There were many people around that day, so it was not appropriate for me to tell you some things, especially when your man was there.”

“Just tell me today,” Huo Mian said calmly.

Master Wu took out a crumpled piece of paper.

Then, he handed it to Huo Mian.

“This is what the kid wrote before he entered the dream for the second time… He said… if there’s a chance, he wants me to give this to you.”

Before Huo Mian could take a look, Master Wu continued, “It’s not a deposit slip or a cheque… It’s just something he wrote. Let me make it clear, I didn’t peek…”

Huo Mian took the note with a heavy heart.

Her rationality told her that she shouldn’t open it. She shouldn’t look at it. It would only make her feel worse.

However, her emotions reminded her that Su Yu wrote it himself and left it for her.

Just like that, while caught in a dilemma, Huo Mian opened Su Yu’s note.
