My Youth Began With Him

‘Miaojiang Sorcery’ – When Qin Chu heard these words, he felt his heart overturn.

This was mysterious sorcery that had been passed down for thousands of years. Some people who did not understand the truth had always regarded the Miaojiang Sorcery as demonic powers.

A witch who could perform sorcery was regarded as a demon. However, it was actually not the case.

A witch was also an ordinary person, except that she knew some spells that ordinary people did not know.

And these were really not superstitions. As human civilization progressed, these things slowly declined.

In Miaojiang, there were very few people who knew how to use sorcery.

Most of the people who claimed to know sorcery were mostly people who cheated others of their food, drinks, and money.

Those who were truly skilled would never show off.

Miaojiang Sorcery, even in modern society, would cause people’s expressions to change when talking about it.

After all, it was sorcery that made one’s scalp tingle even after hearing about it.

Qin Chu had read a book about Miaojiang’s Sorcery when he was young.

As many years had passed, he only vaguely remembered such a story.

It was about a huge village in a mountainous region in Miaojiang. It was filled with people who knew how to use sorcery. There were some taboos in the clan. If one violated them, they would be punished. There was a woman in the clan who ran away because she had fallen in love with a man from the outside world. In the process of escaping, she was poisoned.

Then, the pair of lovers died abruptly in an extremely terrifying manner.

It was said that there were many types of sorcery in Miaojiang. Some used bugs, while some used poison, and the poison was also divided into liquid and powder form.

Some of the weapons were made from human bones, while others were made from scarecrows or paper men.

Qin Chu was excited to hear that Granny knew how to use Miaojiang’s Sorcery.

He seemed to have thought about how the monster could be dealt with now.

“Granny… you…”

“My clan has already been exterminated… There’s only me and Ling left now. Ling only knows how to read fortunes and Fengshui, she no longer has any contact with poison. I still want her to find a good family to marry in the future, so I am the last witch in my clan.”

Before Qin Chu could say anything, the old woman continued, “Your wife and her friends were being chased after by people. They happened to pass by my village and accidentally ran into my house, which can be considered our fate… Later on, you took into consideration our kindness and brought us to the city. I was extremely touched… To be honest, even though I’m the last witch in our family, it’s been many years since I last poisoned someone. Before my father died, he warned me repeatedly to hide my identity and live a normal life… He was afraid that we would get killed. After all, my great-grandmother was burned to death in this way… I thought I would never use it again… but since your wife and I are fated to meet, I can’t ignore this.”

“Granny, if you can help me, I really am…”

Qin Chu was so excited that he didn’t know what to say. He was never a sweet talker.

“It’s okay, just promise me that you’ll support my granddaughter well in her studies… I don’t need anything else.”

“Of course, I’ll fulfill Ling’s wish. I’ll even take care of her for the rest of her life,” Qin Chu promised.

“There’s no need to take care of her for the rest of her life. Ling has hands and feet, so she can live on her own. As long as you can take care of her until she graduates from university, it will be enough.” The old woman smiled.

“I promise, Granny.” Qin Chu didn’t even think about it. After all, Granny’s request was too simple. It was as easy as lifting a finger for Qin Chu.

“Alright, can you bring me to see that demon now?”

“Do you want to go personally? I’m afraid that you’ll be in danger, she’s very powerful…” Qin Chu was a little worried.
