My Youth Began With Him

After Su Yu secretly kissed Huo Mian, he didn’t contact her for a few days.

Huo Mian was a prideful girl, so she didn’t send Su Yu any WeChat messages.

But sometimes, she couldn’t help but look at Su Yu’s posts on his friend circle.

Unfortunately, Su Yu didn’t post anything these days…

Did something happen?

Worried, Huo Mian began to let her imagination run wild. She even went to various entertainment news sites to look for news about Su Yu, but there was none.

What did Su Yu do during the past three days?

He was at home and did not even go to the company. He was only at the old mansion of the Su family.

Then, he turned into a well-behaved child for three days, serving his mother, his grandfather, and his father who had just returned.

He hadn’t contacted Huo Mian for the past few days because he was planning something big.

In the early morning at the Su Residence.

“Tell me, what do you want?” Grandpa Su had seen many people in his life, and he knew how to read people’s minds.

His grandson had been serving him tea for the past few days. He must have a motive.

Upon hearing Grandpa Su’s words, Mr. and Mrs. Su couldn’t help but laugh.

The little brat must have something to ask for. Otherwise, he would not have been so obedient.

“Hehe… As expected, the older the wiser… Grandpa, I do need your help… and from my parents.”

Then, Su Yu looked at his parents’ expressions.

Mrs. Su had always doted on her son. He was not worried that she would disagree.

However, Mr. Su had a bad temper, and he spent less time at home than Grandpa Su, so this was a rare opportunity.

Su Yu decided to give it a try… Of course, he wasn’t confident either.

This place wasn’t like the other world. In that world, his parents and grandfather had spent a lot of time with Huo Mian, so they liked her a lot.

However, in this world, no one knew who Huo Mian was, so suddenly talking about marriage was a bit abrupt.

“Tell me, what is it?” Mr. Su looked down as he ate, not even glancing at Su Yu.

“Dad, I don’t dare to say…”

“Stop dawdling around, be a man…”

Mr. Su’s temper was indeed bad. Before Su Yu could say anything, the old man had already become unhappy.

“Yu hasn’t said anything yet… What are you doing being like this?”

Mrs. Su felt sorry for her son and said a few words to her husband.

Su Yu gritted his teeth. He knew that he couldn’t keep dawdling like this; it might backfire.

Hence, he put down his chopsticks and closed his eyes. He made up his mind and said loudly, “Grandpa, Father, Mother, I want to get married.”

Upon hearing this, Grandpa Su reacted calmly because Su Yu had given him a heads-up.

However, it was the first time Mr. and Mrs. Su had heard that their son was getting married, and they were shocked.

“What? You’re getting married? How old are you?” Mr. Su frowned.

“28 already,” Su Yu said confidently.

“27 years old before your birthday,” Father Su corrected.

“That’s right. Weren’t you the same age when you and mom gave birth to me?” Su Yu did not give up.

“It was a different era back then. What era are we in now? Who would get married so early? Have you established your career?” Mr. Su didn’t seem to agree with his son’s decision to get married. He didn’t even ask who his son was getting married to, but he felt that Su Yu was getting married too early.

After all, many rich second-generation heirs only wanted to get married after the age of 35. Some even had children in their forties. This was already a common sight.

Grandpa Su didn’t say anything and just drank his soup.

Upon seeing his father’s attitude, Su Yu became anxious and retorted, “Dad, don’t you want a grandchild?”

“What do you mean? The girl is pregnant?” Mr. Su’s eyelids twitched.
