My Youth Began With Him

“Mian, why do you want me to do that?”

Master Wu was stunned for a moment and he accidentally burned his fingers with the cigarette ash.

“I want to accompany Su Yu.”

“Don’t do anything stupid. Calm down, Su Yu sacrificed himself to send everyone back… If you go back like this, his sacrifice will be in vain… Do you know that you’re the main reason why Su Yu was so determined to enter the dream again? He’ll only feel at ease if you’re doing well.”

Master Wu understood his disciple’s bad temper. He was bound to encounter his femme fatale, and Huo Mian was Su Yu’s tribulation.

“But I’m not doing well. I miss Su Yu… Every time I think about my friend being alone in that cold and lonely place, trapped for the rest of his life, or even for the rest of my life, I can’t eat or sleep in peace… How could I be okay?”

Master Wu moved his lips, wanting to say something, but he didn’t know how to refute Huo Mian.

.

“Master Wu, tell me the truth… where is Su Yu trapped? How long will he be trapped for? Will he not even have a chance to reincarnate?”

Huo Mian looked at Master Wu with tears in her eyes.

“I’m really not sure about this because I’ve never experienced it before… but logically speaking, he should be stuck there…”

Huo Mian held her chest and looked up, tears streaming down her face.

“I don’t want Su Yu to be like that. It’s not fair to him. What did he do wrong to deserve this kind of punishment? Those dream creators came for me, for Yan, for my dad… and for the Red Demon. It has nothing to do with Su Yu. I can’t let him bear such a serious consequence… Master Wu, I beg you… please send me in…”

Huo Mian asked Master Wu to send her to the dream.

“It’s not that I don’t want to help you… Mian, the dream creators are dead, and there’s no one else in that dream anymore… There’s no exit, but there’s no entrance either… I can’t send you in.”

Huo Mian fell into despair when she heard that even Master Wu couldn’t help her.

She felt her vision go dark… and then she fainted on the ground.

When she woke up again, she was already in the VIP ward at South Side.

Qin Chu sat beside her, watching over her.

Qin Chu’s eyes were bloodshot, and his mustache wasn’t shaved. It seemed like she had been unconscious for a long time.

“Honey…”

“Don’t move… lie down…” Qin Chu quickly pressed her down.

“Hubby, how long have I been asleep?”

“One day and one night,” Qin Chu said.

“Did you sit here for one day and one night then?” Huo Mian asked.

Qin Chu smiled weakly… even the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes could be seen clearly.

“Are you stupid? Why didn’t you sleep?” Huo Mian looked at Qin Chu with heartache.

“Are you stupid? Don’t you care about our child?” Qin Chu asked.

Huo Mian felt extremely guilty…

She was indeed selfish. She wanted to go to Su Yu and repay his kindness.

But she forgot about her husband, her daughters, and the child in her womb.

“Honey… I’m sorry.”

“Don’t say sorry. There’s no need to apologize between us anymore… I, Qin Chu, can forgive you for everything you’ve done, even if it means destroying the world… But please don’t leave me behind… You know I can’t lose you. Never.”

Qin Chu’s tone was gentle and every word was clear.

He reached out and held Huo Mian’s wrist like a pitiful child about to be abandoned.

Huo Mian had never seen Qin Chu like this. He was so helpless and terrified.

“Mian… don’t leave me behind… If you want to leave, take me with you.”
