My Youth Began With Him

Su Yu took the dagger and nodded without saying anything.

Then, Qin Chu kicked the door open.

But…

Su Yu and Huo Mian were stunned by what they saw.

The ward was empty.

After looking around, they heard the sound of running water coming from the washroom.

Then, the water stopped.

A figure walked out from inside, and the two men held their breaths, planning to fight to their deaths.

Unexpectedly, the person who came out was indeed Bella in a hospital gown.

Perhaps it was because she had been lying down for too long, but she did not look good.

“President Qin… President Su, why are you guys here?”

Bella walked out after washing her hands and was shocked to see the two men.

“Bella, when did you wake up?”

“Today…”

“Why didn’t you tell me about this?” Qin Chu looked at Bella warily.

“I heard from Zhixin that Sister Mian just came back safe and sound. There’s a bunch of stuff going on at home, so I thought I should recover first before telling you guys… The doctor said that I’m fine and I just did a full body checkup.”

Bella smiled, looking energetic again.

“Bella, where’s Zhixin?” Qin Chu asked.

After all, if Bella woke up, Zhixin would definitely accompany her.

That was why Qin Chu asked her with suspicion.

“Zhixin, he just went downstairs… Didn’t you see him?”

“No, when did that happen?” Su Yu froze.

“Just now… He is really weird today… He was wearing a baseball cap and a mask when he left, as though he was a celebrity.” Bella laughed.

Qin Chu and Su Yu looked at each other as if they understood each other.

“What did he go out for?” Qin Chu asked.

“He said he’s going to buy me dinner. I think I’ve been lying here for too long, so I don’t taste anything in my mouth. I kept wanting to eat something spicy and sour… Zhixin said that there’s a street up there, and there’s an authentic spicy and sour noodles shop, so he went to order takeaway for me.”

“Okay, let’s go find him,” Qin Chu said as he pulled Su Yu out.

“Hey, President Qin… just wait here. He’ll be back soon. It’s not far.”

“No, I have something urgent to discuss with Zhixin.”

Then, Qin Chu and Su Yu both left the room and rushed downstairs.

When they went downstairs, Su Yu said, “Do you think there’s something wrong with Zhixin?”

“Yeah, Zhixin knows about all the people I’ve arranged. If I can’t contact them, Zhixin must have known what’s going on… Plus, if he was going out to buy food, why would he wear a hat and mask? It’s suspicious,” Qin Chu analyzed.

“Huh? Now that you mention it, I remember someone wearing a hat and mask when we came in just now. He brushed past us… Now that I think about it, when the prayer beads sent us here, we were right beside Zhixin… It was us who missed and didn’t see him. That’s why we thought there was a problem with the prayer beads.”

Su Yu finally understood why the prayer beads sent them to the hospital entrance and not the ward.

Zhixin was at the door at that instant.

But because he was wrapped up, they did not see him.

“Why are you running… We have the prayer beads, he won’t be able to escape this time.”

Su Yu held onto Qin Chu’s shoulder and began to use the prayer beads at a corner where there were very few people.

He hoped to find Zhixin again.

Three seconds later…

The two of them appeared on a dilapidated street. The man in front of them was wearing a hat and mask.

In a fit of anger, Su Yu went up and grabbed the man.

“Ouch, who is it… It hurts so much.”

The man turned around, and Qin Chu took off his mask. It was indeed Zhixin.

“Hey, Brother-in-Law, Brother Su Yu, how did you guys know I was here?” Zhixin was very happy to see Qin Chu.
