My Youth Began With Him

“Why do you want so much money? If you want something, you can tell me, and I’ll buy it for you.”

Qin Chu loved his daughters but didn’t spoil them. Little Bean was so young, and he wondered why she wanted 10,000 yuan.

“I don’t want to buy anything. I just want 10,000 yuan.”

“You’re being unreasonable…” Qin Chu chuckled.

“I’m not being unreasonable. I just have some information to sell to you… The information is so important that even if I asked for 100,000 instead of 10,000, you’d give it to me. But I don’t want so much money since I don’t need it.” Little Bean looked smug.

“You look so confident, kiddo. What on earth is the information?” Qin Chu found Little Bean super cute when she acted so secretively.

“Give me money and I’ll tell you the information.” Little Bean walked to stand before her dad and extended her hand.

“I can’t put cash into your hand now. Even your little bag can’t contain so much cash… I’ll transfer the money to your WeChat account, okay?”

Qin Chu picked up Little Bean and placed her on his lap.

“Okay. But you must transfer some more since the WeChat will deduct the cash withdrawal fee from it.”

“You’re a smart girl. Okay. I’ll transfer 15,000 yuan.” Qin Chu was generous.

“Dad, transfer 15,050 to me. Heihei.” She took the opportunity to get more money.

“You’re too smart for your own good.”

Understanding his daughter’s little trick. Qin Chu picked up his cellphone and transferred money to Little Bean.

Both Little Bean and Pudding had WeChat aliases.

Pudding was low-keyed and had the alias “Big Pudding”.

However, Little Bean’s alias was hard to remember; it was “Ultimate Beautiful Girl Little Bean Loved by Everyone”.

But it was too long to fit in the space for the alias, so she took some painful cuts and changed it into “Beautiful Girl Little Bean”.

Receiving the money, Little Bean threw her arms around Qin Chu’s neck cheerfully and then said secretively, “Dad, I accompanied Mom to have a prenatal examination at South Side today.”

“I have a feeling that you tricked 15,000 yuan from me.” Qin Chu didn’t know he should cry or laugh.

He thought, did he just pay his daughter for the information that she went with her mom to do a prenatal examination?

“Old Qin, can you be patient and wait until I finish?” Little Bean gave her dad a dirty look, looking displeased.

“Little Qin, please go on.” Qin Chu pinched her nose and continued to listen.

“I was with her during the examination. I heard Aunt Jie say that the devices at South Side are very advanced and can see the gender of the baby in Mom’s belly.”

“Whoa. That’s interesting. So, is the baby a boy or a girl?” Qin Chu finally understood what his daughter was trying to explain.

If it was about the gender of the baby, the price of 10,000 yuan wasn’t too high.

“I don’t know. Mom went in to get the check by herself while Aunt Jie and I waited outside. She didn’t tell us the gender of the baby when she came out.”

“So, you’re just teasing your dad?” Qin Chu felt as of his heart had gone through a roller coaster.

“I’m not. I haven’t finished yet. Old Qin, you must be more patient…” Little Bean patted him on the shoulder feelingly.

“Okay. Little Qin, please continue…” Qin Chu almost wept at his daughter’s antics.

No one had called him impatient before.

Little Bean, Little Bean, can you be any naughtier?
