My Youth Began With Him

“Why did he lock you up?”

“He’s a psycho, so he locked himself for fun,” Jack said airily.

“I don’t think so. As far as I know, Huo Siqian isn’t a reckless man… He loves himself very much…”

“So you don’t believe me?” Jack raised his eyebrow and asked.

“I think Huo Siqian didn’t lock himself up; It was you that he locked up, right?” Huo Mian stared at Jack in the eye and said slowly.

The look in Jack’s eyes seemed to change a bit.

Huo Mian was indeed not an ordinary woman.

She remained calm and cautious at such a moment.

“Ridiculous. What’s the difference between locking himself and locking me? You know our situation.”

“It’s hard to say. Anyway, I think he did it for a good reason.”

“Let’s not talk about it now. Huo Mian, we’re the only people on this island. If I’m chained like this, I’ll starve and then you’ll be in danger, too. You know, you can’t survive on the island alone.”

“So? What do you want to say?”

“I mean, you can release me… and then I’ll let you go.”

“You’ll let me go?” Huo Mian looked suspicious; obviously, she didn’t believe Jack.

“Here is my relationship with Huo Siqian. We share memories, so I know what he did to you. He has planned for years to take you into a place that no one can find. Staying in this place with him, you’ll have no chance to escape. I think you know this island better than I do; it’s impossible to escape and no one can rescue you even in 100 years. Besides, after living here for a couple of years, he might move you to another place. You can never imagine how obsessed with you Huo Siqian is.”

Huo Mian didn’t speak as she listened to Jack’s analysis.

“But I’m not him; I’m Jack, an independent personality. I don’t like you at all, I’m free. If you unlock me, we’ll leave this place together. After that, you can forget everything between us or you can retaliate, but it doesn’t matter; the most important thing right now is leaving this damned place.”

It was obvious that Jack hated this place; in contrast, Huo Siqian loved this island and even planned to grow vegetables and grow old with Huo Mian in this place.

So, Huo Mian thought maybe this was her best chance to escape from this uninhabited island.

If Huo Siqian regained his own personality, he would never let her go.

Seeing Huo Mian’s hesitation, Jack worked harder to persuade her.

“Don’t hesitate. This is your best opportunity. He takes a lot of drugs each day to suppress me, so I don’t have a lot of opportunities to appear. If you don’t take this chance to escape, you’ll never get out of here. Understand?” Jack continued to sway her.

“I know what you mean. But how do I know that you won’t deal with me after I unlock the chain for you?” Huo Mian asked.

“So… you have to take the chance.” Jack’s smile looked creepy.

Huo Mian was in a dilemma.

If she didn’t unlock him, as he said, Huo Siqian would wake up and would never let her go no matter what she said to him.

On the other hand, Jack indeed didn’t like her; she had known it from their previous encounters.

Would she take the chance?
