My Youth Began With Him

“Of course.” Su Yu nodded without thinking.

“Su Yu… I owe you a lot. When I get the chance, I’ll…”

“I don’t need you to repay me. I wanted to do all of this for you. If it was for someone I didn’t care about, I wouldn’t do anything for them. I’m helping you because we’re good friends, so stop thanking me.” Su Yu waved his hand, signaling Huo Mian to stop thanking him.

“Alright then.” Huo Mian smiled.

They chatted in the private room for a little while longer and left when the time was right…

As he exited Seductive Fox, Su Yu helped a drunk woman up into his Lamborghini.

“Boss, hurry, follow them! They’re leaving!”

A black Ford left the parking lot behind the Lamborghini…

At the same time, a small figure dressed in men’s clothing left Seductive Fox in a black Land Rover without anyone’s notice.

Monitoring the surveillance camera by the club’s entrance, Rick flashed a tiny smile. “Huo Mian really has a lot of tricks up her sleeve. Huo Siqian’s going to get played this time.”

Rick was the only reason why the duo even came to Seductive Fox in the first place. He was, after all, someone they trusted.

Everything was easier this way. Rick provided Huo Mian with a set of small-sized men’s clothing; the black leather jacket and denim jeans fit her perfectly, while the black baseball covered her long hair.

Rick even provided the black Land Rover she drove off in.

The woman who pretended to be Huo Mian was a rookie artist from Su Yu’s company.

She had a similar figure to Huo Mian. With Huo Mian’s clothing and the extra scarf, it was almost impossible to tell that she was a fake.

Huo Siqian’s men couldn’t tell the difference; they thought that the man and the woman who came out of Seductive Fox were the real deal.

So, they immediately began to follow them… not forgetting to report everything to Huo Siqian on the way…

“Sir, Miss Huo went to a hotel with Su Yu.”

“A hotel?” Huo Siqian furrowed his brows.

“Yes. They’re at the Ritz-Carlton, in the presidential suite.”

Huo Siqian’s face darkened…

That’s not likely… Mian’s not that easy. Why would she get a hotel room with Su Yu…

Unless he drugged her?

Huo Siqian thought to himself as he completely lost his cool, his face as dark as could be…

“Boss, what should we do now? Should we go in?”

“Dumbass… he’s Su Yu! If you go in, you won’t come out alive!”

Huo Siqian couldn’t help but berate his men…

He then took out his phone and dialed Su Yu’s number.

Inside the presidential suite… Su Yu glanced at the incoming number and picked up with a laugh, “What’s up, President Huo?”

“Young Master Su… are you free? Come out for a drink!”

“I don’t have time right now. I’m… very busy.”

“Haha… really? What’s keeping you so busy?” Huo Siqian laughed as well.

“Well… it’s a secret. Alright, I have to go. I’m hanging up now.”

Su Yu then hung up the phone before Huo Siqian could reply, leaving the latter more worried than ever…

If Su Yu really did something to Huo Mian… Huo Siqian would really kick himself for letting Su Yu take advantage of what was originally his.

Huo Siqian thought about it left and right, unable to calm himself.

Therefore, he grabbed his coat, went downstairs and got into his car, driving off towards downtown.

Far away from them, Huo Mian was in her Landrover; she had finally gotten rid of her tail.

Because she had the keys, the right fingerprints, and the security codes to South Hill Manor, Huo Mian arrived home in no time.

After she parked her car, Huo Mian got off anxiously.

When she opened the front door, she saw Uncle Li instructing the maids to clean the living room.

“Young Madam?” Everyone was shocked by the sight of Huo Mian.

“Uncle Li, where’s Qin Chu?”

“Young Master is in… the wine cellar.”

Qin Chu left the dinner party in a very bad mood. After the event, he immediately returned home, went into the wine cellar, and never came out.

At the sound of this, Huo Mian immediately turned and ran to the wine cellar.

Sure enough, as Huo Mian entered the cellar, she saw Qin Chu sitting on the ground, leaning against a rack in the middle of the room, his hands holding a bottle of strong whiskey.

“Honey…” Her voice faltered.

Qin Chu looked up immediately, his gaze filled with surprise, happiness, and longing.
