My Youth Began With Him

“How come I have the most rumors? Come on and tell me…” Su Yu didn’t believe her.

“Not now. Today is Sister Mian’s birthday. I’ll tell you about your stories another day. It’ll take me three days and three nights.”

Su Yu: “…”

“President Su, have you heard this saying?”

“What saying?” Su Yu turned his head and looked at her curiously.

“A fly doesn’t lick a seamless egg.”

“So you mean I’m the egg?” Su Yu cocked his head and asked in displeasure.

“No, you misunderstood. I meant you’re the fly…”

“Fine. Han Yueyao, you say I’m a fly, right? Today I’ll show you what a fly looks like.”

Su Yu grabbed her arm to pull her out of the room.

But she yelled, “Hey! What are you doing? President Su, we’re in a public place; we can’t do it here.”

Su Yu: “…”

Her words drew strange glances from the people around them; Su Yu wished he could find a crack in the ground and crawl into it.

His awesome reputation would be ruined by this money-loving girl.

Han Yueyao smiled smugly. She had countless ways to handle Su Yu; of course, it was because she knew Su Yu didn’t mean what he threatened.

She knew this man was bluffing when he looked fierce; deep inside, he was gentle and loyal.

She had heard many rumors about Su Yu, both positive and negative, and in many versions.

But one can never know a person from rumors.

She had to see with her own eyes.

After getting to know him better, she found Su Yu was a good person and sometimes can be as simple and naïve as a young boy.

It was why she liked to tease him.

“Hello, Yao.”

Huo Mian came toward them, and Su Yu couldn’t be mean to Han Yueyao in front of Huo Mian.

“Hello, Sister Mian.”

“The dress is pretty; it fits you.”

“I made President Su pay for it.”

“And you are shameless enough to mention it too…” Su Yu gave her a dirty look.

Huo Mian smiled. “It’s fine. Your President Su is a generous magnate. Even if you made him pay for one such dress each day, he’d not go broke.”

“Hahaha.” Han Yueyao laughed out loud.

Su Yu looked exasperated. “Huo Mian, which camp are you in?”

“We are all in the same camp, right?”

Su Yu: “…”

As they chatted, a voice came from behind. “Here you are. I’ve been looking for you guys.”

Huo Mian and Su Yu looked back at the same time and saw Zeng Rou who was dressed in a black evening gown.

Tonight she had put on exquisite make-up and had a classic purse of a big brand in her hand.

“Hi. You came.” Huo Mian greeted her with a smile.

“Yeah. I know only you guys at this party, so I looked for you. Mr. Su, I hope you won’t mind me, a third wheel.”

“No,” Su Yu said faintly as he glanced at her, but he didn’t say more.

Zeng Rou glanced at Han Yueyao.

“Young girl, this dress is very expensive. Mr. Su is very generous with his women… But I think he’s not fair to me. When I stayed in your house, I mopped the floor and cooked breakfast like a housemaid, but you didn’t buy me a good dress. My poor heart is bleeding…”

Zeng Rou said the words with a faint smile and the others didn’t know if she was joking or serious.

Huo Mian didn’t know if Zeng Rou’s feelings for Su Yu were real or faked, but she knew Zeng Rou came here today with a purpose.
