S.P.E.C.T.O.R – [A Sci-fi space adventure with fantasy elements]

Over the next couple of days, Adam generally relaxed in Becky’s bar except for the times that he had to accompany Stacey outside on ’important’ matters, as she called them, since he was still acting as her bodyguard, with Susan sometimes coming along as well.

However, it soon became apparent that these ’important’ matters seemed suspiciously like what people did when they went out on dates, not that he ever mentioned this to her.

Today, Adam, Stacey and Susan were once again relaxing on what was quickly becoming their private couch in the bar area while waiting for a special broadcast from USNN to begin on the large holographic display on the wall.

”Well, if it isn’t Stacey.” A male voice suddenly said, causing the three to look up at a male Terran they all recognised as Max Parks standing before them.

”Max,” Stacey replied coldly, causing Susan to cover her mouth as she giggled quietly.

”Care to come join me for a drink before I start my stream?” Max asked with a smile.

”No thanks, I’m here with my friends.”

”I can see, aren’t you going to introduce me?”

”Susan, Adam, this is Max Parks. Max, this is Susan and Adam.”

”A pleasure,” Max said politely.

”Same,” Adam replied while Susan just nodded.

”Might I join you?”

Stacey was about to reply, but Susan beat her to it as she suddenly snuggled closer to Adam while saying, ”I’m afraid we will have to politely refuse, our boyfriend just returned from off-world and we want to spend as much time with him as possible.”

”Boyfriend?” Max asked in surprise as he looked at Stacey, who was suddenly blushing before asking, ”I thought Stacey said you were just friends.”

”Poor Stacey, you know how shy she can be about these things,” Susan replied as Stacey shot her a dirty look.

”It’s silly really, considering how wild she is when the three of us are alone, but it’s fine since Adam here is more than capable of handling us both.”

”Is that right?” Mac replied as he tried to maintain his amicable smile.

Adam, though confused by what Susan was doing, decided to play along and so turned to her and said, ”She’s not the only wild one, plus I’ve heard what the two of you get up to when I’m not here.”

This time, it was Susan’s turn to blush slightly before she outed and smacked his arm while saying, ”You never complained about it before.”

”Was I complaining? I like you both wild.” Adam replied as he wrapped an arm around Stacey, who by now was bright red and pulled her into a hug.

Though embarrassed by what the other two were saying, Stacey didn’t pull away and instead took advantage of Adam’s move by burying herself deeper into his embrace with a smile.

”Good to know, but seriously, the two of us can’t handle you alone; maybe we should invite Jessie to join us next time since she’s single,” Susan said with a thoughtful look before she mimicked Stacey and buried herself deeper into Adam.

Joe, who had been paying attention since Max’s arrival from behind the bar, snorted with laughter before quickly covering it up as a chuckle as he continued to wipe the spot he had been wiping for the last couple of minutes.

Max could be seen biting his cheek as he tried to maintain his dignity.

He was about to respond, but everyone in the bar had their attention drawn to the large holographic screen on the wall.

”ROOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR”

💫💫💫

A few minutes prior to and on the bridge of a ship, Prime was addressing his viewers.

”There it is, primsters, Terrana five, home world of the Terrans and the place I will be streaming from for the next few days as I show you all around their capital city.”

[You got this prime, show those Terrans what a real streamer is like.]

[Yeah, show them how real streamers should react in front of royalty.]

[Well, it is Prime, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries it on with Princess Tessa.]

[Yeah, she is supposed to be a hottie, I bet he gets shot down though kek.]

”We will be docking at the space station in a few minutes before we proceed down to the planet. I, of course, will be travelling with my close friend, Second Prince Charix.”

”Unfortunately, this means I will have to cut the stream for a while since we all know he’s not a fan of appearing on streams; however, don’t worry because as soon as we land, I will be sure to stream again for all you primsters.”

[Yeah, you’re the best prime.]

[Make sure to escort the second Prince well.]

”HAHAHAHA Of course…”

[[*ALERT*]]

Prime was in the middle of responding when suddenly alarms started to sound all over the bridge.

[What’s happening?]

”Report.” The captain who sat in the chair on the bridge immediately ordered.

”Sensors show a hyperspace gate opening right above us, Captain.”

”What! Emergency descent.” The captain ordered as the bridge’s viewscreen switched to show a tear in space that had lightning around it forming directly above their ship.

”Who the hell jumps directly above a planet? Even if their ship is capable of it, we have jump gates, so this sort of thing won’t happen.” The pilot complained as she forced the ship to descend.

”I think someone’s trying to make a statement, after all, universal space mariner law states that capable ships are not allowed to hyperspace jump directly next to a planet in case something like this happens.”

”Fuck, if that was the case, I would have jumped us here directly instead of having to queue at the damn jump gates.” The pilot cursed.

”Language.” The captain snapped as she shot a look in Prime’s direction.

[HAHAHAHA The professionalism of the Catonian military is amazing.]

[It is truly something we should all aspire to. Hahaha.]

Everyone paid attention to the viewscreen as the hyperspace gate finished forming, showing a black void surrounded by lightning.

As they watched, they saw something emerging from the black void, but instead of the front of a massive ship like they were expecting, everyone was shocked to see the maw of a giant energy.

”Holy…”

”Is that what I think it is?”

”Why is one of them here?”

[Oh hell yeah, the rumours on Xer-verse were right.]

[Chill, we still don’t know it’s her and not another dragon.]

”A dragon,” Prime said in shock as the dragon’s massive head revealed itself.

”It’s a green dragon.”

”I can see that, but why is there a dragon here? Surely they’re not actually there to attend the ceremony.”

”Have you not read Xer-verse?”

”Some of us actually focus on our duties and not social media.”

[If it really is the dragon princess that won’t look good for the Catonians, think about it. They only sent their second Prince.]

[A second Prince is still a Prince.]

[Do you really think the second Prince Chimax can compare to the dragon Princess Tephe?]

[They have a point; her fame puts her on a similar level to those like the Solarian Princess.]

Finally, the giant green dragon fully emerged from the hyperspace gate that collapsed soon after.

The dragon took a quick look around before flapping her mighty wings and flying off towards the planet below, as every individual on the surrounding ships watched on in shock.

[Prime is gonna be huge from this.]

[Why?]

[Think about it, if that really was the dragon princess, then Prime was the first to capture live footage of her.]

Prime read the chat and couldn’t help but smile.

[HAHAHAHAH That’s right, primesters, exactly as I planned. Are you all surprised about the surprise guest I invited? Hahahaha]

💫💫💫

”Greetings, ladies and gentlemen of all races, today we are bringing you special coverage from the Terran home world, Terrana five.” Sinead Quintana announced live from what looked like a public square, as many individuals could be seen moving around behind her while several children made stupid faces at the cameras, and in the background, a large, magnificent building could be seen.

”I am standing outside the imperial palace as today marks the start of several days’ worth of celebration that will be held to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of when Emperor Daniel Terran ascended the throne.”

”We are already receiving word that several prominent guests have or will soon arrive in the capital. Diva Lorelie, who will be performing at the event, has, of course, already been here for several days; however, we have just heard that Diva Rowena arrived on planet a few hours ago while Lord Malacross the ruler of Deverinian nine and one of the demon king’s advisers has recently arrived in orbit aboard his ship.”

”However, the biggest news circulating …”

”ROOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR”

As Sinead continued to speak, she was suddenly cut off as a loud roar that was heard all over the capital city was heard, making everyone look up
