Chapter 422: Solomon Kingdom

...…

Nineteen years ago.

There was a small country called Solomon Kingdom. The size of this country might be as big as a basic region of the seven major continents.

This country was an isolated place who chose to severe themselves from the affairs of the world. They didnʼt care what was happening outside their country, and the only thing that was important to them was their own lives in this small country.

To the residents of this country, the people on the ʼoutside worldʼ were all ambitious and greedy; all of those people only care about wealth and power, and how to obtain them.

Solomon Kingdom was a free country where its citizens were living a simple life. They were free to choose whatever they wanted even though they have a government system of monarchy.

In fact, each citizen respected the Royal Family a lot while the Royal Family itself was respecting their citizen in return. And who the citizen respected the most was their humble king.

Even if he was the ruler of this country, he never showed his power. He didnʼt even force his citizens to pay any form taxes as he believed that his family didnʼt lack anything.

Sometimes, he even walked out of his castle to personally experience life outside the tall walls of his home. Farming, fishing, blacksmithing – the king tried every form of manual labor to understand the lives of his citizens. And because of this, he became even more respected by everyone.

But in this world, there have always been some people who were greedy. And since this country was rich and peaceful, there were some greedy groups who would want to seize it for themselves.

On the outside, this small country might be as simple as other places around the world. But looking further into it, this place was actually a hidden power who chose to sleep for a long time.

This place was a haven for all Mentalists. This Kingdom was housing a lot of experts in the discipline of Mentalism. In fact, every citizen of this country were all Mentalists.

Due to this very reason, there were a lot of powerful organizations who tried everything they could to have this country under their control. There were even some who tried to invade it directly.

Unfortunately, none of them succeed because the military power of this small country was not a laughing matter.

Aside from the Royal Family, there were five more Aristocratic Families under them who were acting as their weapons and their shields. And the top experts of these families struck fear on every organization that they were going to face.

Because of the repeated failures of these organizations, no one dared to invade the Solomon Kingdom anymore.

...…

”My king, you need to calm yourself first. Like I said, there is no need to be anxious,” said by a man who was wearing a fancy set of clothes. He was trying to calm another man who kept on walking back and forth in front of him.

Ironically to what he said, the man he called king was currently dressed as a worker. There was even some dirt on his clothes, signifying that he was ʼworkingʼ just earlier.

”I know, I know. But even if the Spiritual Master said that everything is going to be fine, I still can help but become like this,” replied the King as he continued to walk back and forth.

And while he saw doing it, he looked at his side while saying with an excited expression on his face. ”Steve, my wife is giving birth to our first child! I am really going to be a father now! How can I calm myself down!?”

Seeing that, the man who was addressed as Steve couldnʼt help but shake his head a little while wearing a bitter smile on his face. Seeing his king acted like this sure was a rare sight to see.

While they were like that, a sudden burst of Mental Energy Pressure was released from a certain direction.

BOOM!

Naturally, the King and Steve would immediately be going to sense such a powerful pressure. And then the moment they looked at the place where it was coming from, both of them suddenly disappeared from their spots as they rushed towards that direction.

It was coming from the direction of the delivery room where the kingʼs wife was giving birth to their son.

Bang!

The king pushed the door open without having any hesitation, but suddenly frozen in place right after he entered the room.

In front of him, he saw the doctor raising an infant in the air who was basked with a warm light.

”This!” The king was too stunned to move when he saw that sight. But he immediately recovered himself when he saw the warm light starting to rush out from the infantʼs small body.

Without any hesitation, the King immediately made his move when he saw that the warm light was suddenly turned berserk.

He suddenly appeared beside the doctor and carefully took the child from the latterʼs hands before making some hand gestures with his free hand.

A moment later, a gentle Mental Energy was released from the kingʼs body before slowly pushing back the warm light which was rushing out from the infantʼs small body. And when he saw that everything went back to normal, he then took a sigh of relief before looking at the doctor, asking. ”How is my wife?”

”Huh!” The doctor also took a sigh of relief when he saw that the king managed to arrive in time to salvage the earlier situation.

And when he heard that the king asked him about the condition of the queen, he immediately replied. ”You donʼt have to worry, your highness. The Queen is fine. She just passed out due to exhaustion. She will immediately regain her consciousness when she gets enough time of rest.”

The King gently nodded his head when heard that, before looking at his son lovingly. He stared at the little boy for a few more moments before gently handing him back to the doctor. And when the latter received his son with care, he gave the boy another look before turning his head at Steve who was currently standing at the door of the room.

”Steve, gather everyone. Tell them that we have something urgent to discuss,” the king said before turning his head back to the doctor.

”Please, take care of my wife and son,” he said gently before walking towards the exit.

...

”Is it true? The prince is a ʼHeavenly-blessed Individualʼ?”

(a super genius who was born with a powerful cultivation – discussed at Chapter 55)

”Yeah. Fortunately, the king prevented the disaster from happening when the sudden outburst occurred.”

”But sealing that kind of power is only going to last for 5 days at most. After that, another one is going to happen and it is going to be much more powerful than before.”

”What are we going to do? Based on what the Spiritual Master has said, the priceʼs case is a very special one and ordinary ʼMeridian Lockingʼ is not going to work.”

(Also discussed at Chapter 55)

The conference room was in a total chaos as every was concerned at their priceʼs condition. And if they didnʼt find a capable person who could seal his powerful cultivation, he is going to die sooner or later.

While they were discussing, the door of the room was suddenly swung open followed by the entrance of their king. The king was not wearing a workerʼs clothes this time. Instead, he was wearing a majestic robe which made his aura totally different from before – he was not a humble king this time, but a dignified king who ruled everyone.

There were two people following closely behind him; one was Steve who was the kingʼs closest aide while the other was an old man who seemed to possess an unfathomable attainment on Mentalism discipline.

When these three entered the room, everyone who seemed to be in an anxious state earlier immediately turned quiet.

The king swept his gaze at everyone the moment he entered the room and when sat on the head seat, he immediately said. ”Given the tense expressions on your faces, I suppose Steve already told you everything.”

He paused for a moment to put his hands together while placing his elbows on the table. Then he looked at everyoneʼs faces for another time before saying. ”I am not going to beat around the bush and immediately discuss our main concern.”

”We need to immediately look for an individual who is capable enough to help us resolve this dire situation. We only have five days at most, so we donʼt have enough time to waste.”

Hearing everyone nodded their heads. And after a brief moment of silence, one of the elders suddenly asked. ”Do we still havenʼt heard anything from the Ancestor?”

The old man who was standing behind the king immediately asked. ”The Ancestor is still on his journey to find a way to improve his Mentalism attainment. And from the looks of it, it will take at least a decade before he can come back.”

”Do you really canʼt do anything, Sir?” asked one of the nobles.

When the old man heard that, he suddenly shook his head while smiling bitterly. ”For as much as I want to resolve this issue, I am still powerless to do it.”

”The priceʼs case is a very rare case. And based on the records, his Mental Energy type is most likely at the highest grade. Even the king who possesses a ʼheaven gradeʼ Mental Energy canʼt completely suppress the priceʼs Mental Energy, much less a person like me who only has an ʼorigin gradeʼ.”

The other nobles couldnʼt help but become surprised when they heard that; they were totally in shock to say something.

For a country like them who only seek the truth behind the Mentalism, they were naturally able to discover something that other people in the ʼoutside worldʼ couldnʼt fully understand.

Even though their country was quite isolated, they still had a very long history. But being isolated also meant that they had a slightly different view about Mentalism compared to the ʼcommonʼ people of the world.

In common knowledge, the Mental Energy of every person was unique; especially when they reached a certain level of understanding where they could change the properties of their respective Mental Energy (Peak of Grandmaster Realm).

Because of that, most of the Mentalists around the world believe that each of them was unique. But the people of the Solomon Kingdom were thinking a little differently.

From their records, their ancestors discovered a way to differentiate the difference of each personʼs Mental Energy. At the same time, they also discovered how to see their similarities.

Due to this information, they created a new system where they could grade the Mental Energies of each person. And from their records, they currently discovered 5 different grades. And they were the Profound, Origin, Sky, Heaven and Divinity grades.

Each grade differentiated the rate of oneʼs talent in Mentalism.

Mentalists who had a Mental Energy in ʼprofound gradeʼ could only reach the ʼGrandmaster Realʼ in their entire life. And if someone had an ʼorigin gradeʼ, their Mentalism attainment would only reach the ʼRulerʼs Realmʼ.

Meanwhile, Mentalists who possessed the ʼskyʼ and ʼheavenʼ grades could reach the ʼVenerableʼ and ʼExaltedʼ realms respectively.

These four grades were already proved by their historical records. But the ʼdivinity gradeʼ still remained a mystery to them.

Legend said that a Mentalist who had a ʼdivinity grade Mental Energyʼ could reach the realm that was higher than ʼExalted Realmʼ.

But there was no one who could prove that. Because every person who had a Mental Energy in ʼdivinity gradeʼ all left their country to find the truth about Mentalism. While all of the Mentalists who reached the realm beyond ʼExalted Realmʼ suddenly disappeared.

...

After a brief moment of silence, the king started talking once again. ”If we canʼt find a Mentalist who is capable enough to fully seal my sonʼs Mental Energy, then we need to at least find someone who had a ʼdivinity gradeʼ of Mental Energy.”

When those worlds left his mouth, the room became even more quiet since they all knew that finding such a person was equally close to impossible.

A moment later, one of the nobles finally brought up his courage and said. ”We already suspected someone who had a divinity grade before. But he is someone from the World Government. Regardless, should we give it a try?”

But that suggestion was immediately rejected by someone. ”We canʼt trust those people. Those guys are eyeing our historical records for a long time already, we canʼt take the risk of asking for help from them.”

”But the priceʼs condition is even more important right now!” said by another noble. And that became the trigger for everyone to start debating which side is more important.

But before the heat reached its peak, the king suddenly tapped his finger twice on the table which immediately silenced all of them.

He waited for a few more moments before saying. ”In truth, I already found someone who possesses a Mental Energy in ʼdivinity gradeʼ. And what I really wanted to discuss right now is whether you guys wanted to accept her or not.”
