Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Roaar!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Not having noticed Xuan Hao as it was forced out of the spatial passage when it collapsed, the demon beast was busy fighting off the ancient golems that attacked it the moment they landed on the ground a few seconds behind it.

The battle that had started back at the ancient city and had already lasted for over a week seemed to show no end, as the demon beast and ancient golems soon lay waste to their surroundings as they battle between the two parties became more and more intense with each passing second. Showing no care for possibly attracting any powerful demon beasts that might get attracted by the large commotion.

Although, with the demon beast’s strength having reached the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm, there wasn’t really anyone outside of the ancient golems that could match it in the entire mystic realm.

An exception to this being if there was a demon beast that somehow managed to fool the guardian formation of the mystic realm or resided in a place that wasn’t under the constant monitoring of the guardian formation. Allowing it to reach the Dao Seed Realm without being reduced to dust by the terrifying power of the guardian formation.

Of course, another exception would be the person currently looking down at the fight taking place below filled with killing intent after his opportunity to comprehend the Dao of Space and possibly break through to the Large Success Realm in the Dao of Space had been ruined.

”This little demon beast is still ignoring me, but… What are those… Golems? That its fighting.” Frowning to himself as he looked at the demon beast below, barely restraining himself from just outright killing it, Xuan Hao began to curiously examine the ancient golems that it was fighting.

Having only seen the preservation golems so far inside the mystic realm, it was a rather new experience to see a new kind of golem. Not to mention, the golems in question were shaped like all sorts of different demon beasts as they fought in a manner no different from normal demon beasts.

The only difference between them and real demon beasts being the fact that they didn’t show any signs of tiring dude to an inbuilt small scale qi gathering formation that allowed them to absorb qi from the air far faster than a normal demon beast.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t really anything that special about these golems outside of the small-scale qi gathering formation inside of them and the fact that they acted and fought like demon beasts.

Even though the golem itself was probably a marvel of the art of golem creation, he didn’t really have any understanding when it came to that Dao and couldn’t understand how amazing these golems capable of fighting a demon beast at the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm were.

Then again, it might also just be because he had witnessed the terror of the preservation golems in charge of guarding certain critical areas of the celestial gates, those golems were terrifying to a degree that he still had no idea about their true strength.

From what little he had witnessed from the ones he had encountered so far; he could guess that their strength should at least be in the Profound Immortal Realm. Far beyond these small demon beast golems capable of working together to fight someone at the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm.

Comparing the two, Xuan Hao suddenly lost interest in them and instead just ended up becoming far more curious about the true strength of the preservation golems. Feeling that it might be a good idea for him to try and ask one of them the next time he visited the tower of secret or found one somewhere inside the mystic realm.

At least with his current status in the mystic realm being official in the eyes of these preservation golems, he didn’t really feel any fear when facing them.

Well… Almost, as he still felt a hint of fear when remembering what had happened after he decided to try and use his divine sense to forcibly look into the inner workings of a celestial gates…

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao turned his attention back towards the battle that was taking place below-

Whoosh~

And with a single wave of his hand, the demon beast that had been fighting bravely against the ancient golems, suddenly froze on the spot as a look of absolute horror appeared in its eyes before being extinguished the next second as it remained frozen in place together with ancient golems that had similarly frozen on the spot without moving.

Given the sheer difference in strength between Xuan Hao and the demon beast and golems below, all he needed was to casually release his Dao of Ice to freeze them to death. Not needing to do much more against an opponent that hadn’t even broken through to the Dao Seed Realm.

Although fighting above one’s own realm could be considered a normal thing for geniuses in lower cultivation realm, as the realm of a cultivator increased. So did the gap between realms.

The strength difference between someone in the Soul Ascension Realm and someone in the Dao Seed Realm was an insurmountable mountain to anyone outside of the most terrifying geniuses… And the Profound Immortal Realm even beyond that.

After reaching a high enough realm, Xuan Hao could already imagine that a difference by even a single minor realm would be like the current difference between two major realms. An insurmountable gap even for the most brilliant of geniuses…

”Now… To find that little girl before she ends up disappearing again…” Having killed off both the demon beast and the golems, Xuan Hao didn’t waste any more time around the place where the spatial passage had collapsed, as he began moving towards the new location where Mui had ended up after having gone through the now collapsed spatial passage.

Given how long they had already spent inside the mystic realm, Xuan Hao felt that it was about time for them to return to the sect again.

Not just that, but the Blue Sea Empire should have also finished looking through the Star Shattering Sect’s territory for demonic cultivators at this point in time. Allowing him to take Su Wuhan back out and hand him back over to Elder Dust Fairy.

Hm? Now that I think about it… Has that fellow just been stuck next to the entrance of the mystic realm for over a month…?

Remembering Su Wuhan all of a sudden as he flew back in the direction of Mui, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly to himself as he silently apologized to the unfortunate demonic cultivator.

Although it shouldn’t be that difficult to spend a month in isolation as a cultivator that had managed to go as far as he had, it would still be boring if one couldn’t cultivate during this time.

In a sense, the only thing that Su Wuhan would have been able to do for the past month was stare aimlessly at the lifeless rocks all around him. Maybe able to look through the entrance of the mystic realm to see a few clouds pass by in the sky outside the mystic realm.

Deciding not to think too deeply about Su Wuhan, Xuan Hao just decided to think of it as punishment for… Ehm… Something he would definitely think about by the time he got back to the old demonic cultivator and took him back out of the mystic realm and handed him over to Elder Dust Fairy again.

…

At the same time Xuan Hao remembered the existence of a certain demonic cultivator, the demonic cultivator in question was busy cursing him to his hearts content, as he remained stuck in the spot Xuan Hao had sealed him without being able to move a single muscle due to the seal.

Aaaaaahhhh! HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO WAIT LIKE THIS!? What kind of punishment is it to seal me like this? Unable to cultivate and unable to move! That damn scratch on my back has been plaguing me for the past two weeks without any way for me to deal with it! Damnable Elder Xuan, I curse you and your nine generations! No, I curse your 17 generations!

Even worse, he had discovered two weeks ago that he really needed to scratch his back and found himself unable to do so…

Unknown to Xuan Hao, he had created a new kind of torture that even seemed capable of breaking a terrifying demonic cultivator, something that he would never find out about, as the demonic cultivator in question would never reveal anything about his current desperate situation after Xuan Hao returned to undo the seal. Especially the fact that he found himself willing to do anything just to have someone get rid of the itching sensation at his back by scratching it…
