Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Looking at the small necklace made out of some kind of unknown metal floating in the space that was left behind after he had dismantled the door shaped formation, Xuan Hao could not help feeling excited after feeling the unique aura of a natural treasure given off by the small necklace.

Even if he had only encountered a few natural treasures before, he could still tell that the small necklace floating in the space where the door shaped formation had once been located was a natural treasure. Not only that, but from the aura alone, it had reached the Transcendent Grade!

”There really was a Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure…”

Not having really expected for the door shaped formation to have a Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure as the core, Xuan Hao was looked towards the necklace for a few seconds as he muttered this to himself inside the quiet underground space where the door shaped formation and the crack in the guardian formation was located.

Whoosh~

Not wasting any time after seeing the natural treasure floating in the air in front of him, Xuan Hao grabbed it before putting it away and making his way back towards the surface.

Now that he had dismantled the door shaped formation that had been used to hide the crack in the guardian formation, it would not take long before the Domain Lords currently in the process of fighting above ground discovered the abnormality below.

Even worse, looking at just how large the crack was after he had dismantled the door shaped formation, Xuan Hao understood that there was a good chance that the abnormality might attract the attention of one of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts from the imperial family.

After all, given the size of the crack in the guardian formation, it was not something someone in the Domain Lord Realm would have the ability to fix!

Boom-boom-boom!

Reaching the surface only a few seconds after putting away the Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure, the sound of battle that had been moving further and further away when he had gone underground to check out the crack in the guardian formation had somehow moved back towards the site of the restaurant where he was.

How odd, the strength of the captain should not be enough to prevent that person from leaving for more than a few seconds, let alone force him back to this place… Even though the captain was supposed to be the weaker one, he had somehow managed to gain an advantage…

Nothing had changed compared to before and there were no new people who had showed up to lend the captain a hand in dealing with the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert that was trying his best to escape.

Narrowing both of his eyes as he thought about this, Xuan Hao looked towards the two figures clashing with each other in the sky not too far away.

Closely observing the two Domain Lords fighting in the air above the capital city, Xuan Hao discovered that whenever one of the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert’s attacks was about to land, a weird and almost invisible barrier appeared around the captain and stopped the attack before it could reach the captain.

A defensive artifact? For it to completely negate the attacks of a Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert, it should be high level artifact as well…

Not taking more than a few seconds to see through the origin of the barrier that was protecting the captain whenever he was about to get injured, Xuan Hao could not help feeling bad for the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert that was trying his best to escape.

Originally, the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert would be able to look for a chance to escape from the captain when he was forced back and had to defend himself with his domain… But given that the captain could fully focus on attacking and leave defence to his defensive artifact, the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert had no way to escape.

After all, even though he was stronger than the captain, the distance between both of them was not big enough for him to easily deal knock the captain flying like he had done with the vice-captain.

Boom-!

Because of this, the Sixth Stage Domain Lord grew more and more desperate as time passed. Understanding very well that with each passing second he wasted fighting the captain, he would get close to getting caught by the more powerful experts from the capital guards!

Even if he had reached the Sixth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, there was no way he would be deluded enough to think that he would be able to escape after the more powerful experts started showing up.

The only lucky thing for him, was the fact that the destruction caused by his fight had been limited by the power of the guardian formation.

If not, the entire capital city would have already noticed it when he first clashed with the captain in front of him. At that point in time, the entire capital guard would have mobilized and he would have been surrounded in seconds without a chance to escape.

Another thing was also the fact that the captain in front of him had not contacted the rest of the guards in the capital city before attacking him… But that was not really luck and more due to the fact that the guard captain was not cautious enough due to this being inside the capital city.

”Hm? Looks like the rest of the guards are finally showing up…”

Observing the fight as the Sixth Stage Domain Lord was pushed even further back by the captain, Xuan Hao suddenly raised his head and looked into the distance where several powerful auras all reaching the Domain Lord Realm appeared as they charged towards his current location… Or to be more precise, the location where the Sixth Stage Domain Lord and the captain of the guards were fighting!

”I should also get out of here before I end up getting caught up in this fight…”

Swish~!

Not wanting to get involved in the fight as it might end up attracting the attention of a Soul Ascension Realm Expert, Xuan Hao quickly used his movement technique to leave the ruins of the restaurant before the two people fighting in the sky above had any time to notice him.

Given that he had already managed to get his hand on a Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure for free, Xuan Hao was quite happy at the moment and didn’t really care how the fight above ended.

In the first place, this was related to the internal fight of the Sky Empire and did not have anything to do with him. For all he cared, it would be best if the different forces of the Sky Empire started fighting with each other and created a chaotic situation.

At least this way, the Star Shattering Sect would be able to expand their territory more easily without having to worry about the large forces of the Sky Empire who would have their hands full with dealing with each other.

”Haha! Looks like you won’t be able to escape any longer!”

”T-this is-!?”

Not too long after Xuan Hao left the ruins of the restaurant below the place where the Sixth Stage Domain Lord and the guard captain were fighting each other, the two of them both felt the different powerful auras approaching in the distance. All of them having at least reached the Domain Lord Realm, with one of them even having reached the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm!

No, I can’t get captured by these people… If I really get captured, that person will definitely not allow me to stay alive! Do I really have to use that…?

As all sorts of thoughts passed through the mind of the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert in an instant, a desperate light soon flashed through his eyes before he turned towards the guard captain filled with killing intent.

”DAMNIT! YOU FORCED ME TO DO THIS!”

Swish-!

Before the guard captain had any time to react, the Sixth Stage Domain Lord took out a small blood red crystal a threw it towards him before dashing towards the restaurant ruins. Clearly intending to use the crack in the guardian formation to escape before the Domain Lords in the distance had time to catch up to him.

”You-”

BOOOOOOOOOM-!

About to chase after the Sixth Stage Domain Lord, the guard captain was caught off-guard as the blood red crystal flying towards him suddenly erupted with a terrifying power far above that the Sixth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Whoosh~

Bang-!

Even with the help of the powerful defensive artifact that had rendered the attacks of a Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert useless, the power of the blood red crystal still managed to gravely wound the guard captain and send him crashing into the ground a few hundred meters away!
