Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Making his way towards the inn that the group of experts from the different independent sects were located, Xuan Hao decided to walk along the busy streets of the capital instead of using a movement technique to reach the inn as quickly as possible.

After all, rushing away from the noble district like that, might end up catching the attention of some of the experts from the Sky Empire that had begun to show up around the noble district. Especially considering that he was the only person in the Domain Lord Realm heading towards the outer part of the capital...

Well, I can at least use this time to read through the Divine Will Scripture. Even if I can’t use my domain inside the capital city without gathering unwanted attention, I should at the very least still be able to cover the book in my hands without any problems...

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao secretly took out the Divine Will Scripture he had gotten from completing the side quest that ended up trapping him inside the Soul Sacrifice Formation.

Whoosh~!

Using his domain to hide the book in his hands from any prying eyes, Xuan Hao opened the Divine Will Scripture with a curious glint flashing past his eyes.

Even if he had gotten the Divine Will Scripture from the system, he had absoloutly no idea what the Divine Will Scripture was about, it could be powerful cultivation mantra that could help him on his path towards reaching the Soul Ascension Realm or simply end up as some kind of weird religious text...

No matter what it was, Xuan Hao felt that it shouldn’t be anything bad considering the dangerous situation that the system had ended up putting him.

Even if the matter of the demonic cultivator did not seem that dangerous on the surface due to the Soul Sacrifice Formation only being able to hold on for a little over a minute, had he ended up revealing his identity and presence by fighting the demonic cultivator.

Not only would he have to worry about the large noble families who were cooperating with it taking revenge in the future if this happened... But he would also have to worry about the ancestor of the imperial family possibly viewing him as a threat and deciding to just eliminate him on the spot to prevent future problems!

At the very least, everyone seemed to believe that it was someone from one of the large noble families that had decided to save the cardinal at the last moment, something Xuan Hao was more than happy to see happen considering that the last thing he wanted at the moment was to fall out with the different major powers inside the capital of the Sky Empire...

”Hm? This is... A divine sense technique...?”

Feeling a hint of surprise after opening the first page of the Divine Will Scripture and reading through the introduction of it, Xuan Hao could not help unintentionally whispering this to himself with a shocked expression on his face.

A divine sense technique... To be honest, Xuan Hao had never heard about a divine sense technique before and had never imagined that there would actually be techniques that could be used through one’s divine sense...

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao forgot about the matter of visiting the inn with the experts from the different independent sects to ask about the Soul Ascension Realm and instead found a quiet place to sit down inside one of the many public parks that could be found all over the capital city to read through the Divine Will Scripture.

...

As Xuan Hao started to read through the Divine Will Scripture, the sun in the sky disappeared before being replaced by the moon. However even when it had already grown late at night, Xuan Hao simply ignored his surroundings as he was fully absorbed in the Divine Will Scripture. Allowing night to turn into day as time flowed peacefully with no one coming to interrupt him during this period of time.

”How amazing... To think something like this existed...”

The sun already high in the sky above the capital, Xuan Hao only looked away from the Divine Will Scripture after spending close to an entire day reading through the small book no more than a few pages thick.

Even then, Xuan Hao had still not manged to comprehend the technique record inside the Divine Will Scripture and had only barely managed to read through it over this period of time. The main reason for this being that the Divine Will Scripture was written in a mix between the ancient language and the current language in use across the Ewaria Continent.

Luckily for Xuan Hao, his comprehension of the ancient language had already improved enough for him to read through the Divine Will Scripture without any issues. Although... It did take him far longer compared to if the Divine Will Scripture had been written in the current language of the Ewaria Continent.

At least he had also managed to increase his proficiency in the ancient language in this way. Making him feel like the time when he was able to fully understand the ancient language that had once been used during the ancient era was growing closer.

Back to the divine sense technique that he had discovered inside the Divine Will Scripture...

Divine Will... Indeed, a fitting name for a technique found inside a book called the Divine Will Scripture...

Shaking his head as he thought this to himself, Xuan Hao recalled the information about the Divine Will technique written about in the Divine Will Scripture.

Divine Will, a divine sense technique that allows the user to condense his divine sense together into a powerful will that can be used to directly attack the soul of others. The strength of the technique does not depend on the cultivation of the user, but instead draws its power from the soul. The stronger the soul, the more powerful the Divine Will created will be!

The description of the divine will technique was rather simple and it was not something hard to learn. From what Xuan Hao had managed to analyse about it so far, the divine sense technique did not really have any requirements on cultivation realm and even someone in the Qi Condensation Realm would be able to comprehend it if their comprehension was strong enough.

Although the technique itself would not really be useful before a cultivator managed to reach the Peak of the Core Formation Realm where a cultivator would start give birth to divine sense.

In simple terms, divine sense was an extension of a cultivators soul and allowed them to see the world around them in far more detail compared to normal mortals. The divine will technique made use of this extension of soul power and gathered it together to form a single brute attack that could be used to attack someone’s soul directly.

Even if the divine will technique would not be able to kill opponents who were at the same level, it would still be able to force them to use their energy to defend their soul. In a battle, this would easily end up spelling the end for someone as they were now forced to focus a large part of their energy towards defending their soul.

”Although it’s not a good killing technique, it’s a great auxiliary technique that will be useful for fighting... Hm... I should give this to the Elder Song when I get back...” Muttering this to himself as he put away the Divine Will Scripture, Xuan Hao understood very well how important something like the Divine Will Scripture would be for the Star Shattering Sect.

If all the elders in the Nascent Soul Realm and above could learn this technique, the Star Shattering Sect’s strength would increase by another level. Not to mention, Xuan Hao had also discovered that by condensing one’s divine sense together into a divine will, one would also inevitably end up increasing the strength of one’s soul!

Not only would the strength of the elders in the Nascent Soul Realm and above increase by training this divine sense technique, but their cultivation speed would also increase!

Together with the qi rich environment of the Shattered Star Peaks, it would only be a matter of time before more Domain Lord Realm Experts emerged inside the Star Shattering Sect!

Thinking about this, Xuan Hao could not help smiling to himself as he thought about how much the Star Shattering Sect had improved over the past few years, he could not help looking forward to how the Star Shattering Sect would change after he handed the divine sense technique over to Elder Song and allowed him to teach it to the rest of the elders from the sect.

But before all of that, I will have to reach the Soul Ascension Realm to ensure the safety of the Star Shattering Sect...

Narrowing both of his eyes as he thought about the strength displayed by the ancestor of the imperial family, Xuan Hao understood that the Star Shattering Sect would not be able to start truly expanding its influence without someone powerful in the Soul Ascension Realm backing it up.

After all, even if he could fight someone in the Soul Ascension Realm with his current strength, there was still a difference between himself and someone who had reached the Soul Ascension Realm...
