Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Now that I think about it, what happened to me and how did I appear here all of a sudden? Did the book perhaps have some sort of ancient teleportation formation inside of it that activated the moment I was knocked unconscious?

Observing everything that was happening below him, Xuan Hao could not help thinking about how he had ended up in his current situation.

”Hm? What happened to my body!?”

Beginning to observe his body due to this thought appearing, Xuan Hao was shocked to discover that his entire body had almost become completely transparent. Even when he tried his best, he was only barely able to make out the shape of his body-

Whoosh~

But when trying to touch his arm, he ended up passing right through it!

Ah... Perhaps I did not get teleported anywhere by the book and is instead experiencing the events written down in the book?

As this thought appeared, Xuan Hao felt that his current situation made a bit more sense. At the very least it would explain how he was able to survive at his current height and the fact that no one on the battlefield below had spotted him yet.

After all, even if the Domain Lord Realm Experts might not be able to spot him given how far up into the sky he was, they were the weakest among the people fighting below... And Xuan Hao highly doubted that the experts who had surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm would not be able to sense his presence...

”I just when this battle happened... Given the age of the Thousand Wind Palace and the fact that the book has just stayed there for the past hundreds of thousands of years, this battle might have taken place even longer ago!”

Not feeling anymore fear from the terrifying battle taking place below him after determining that everything around him should just be a scene of the past that the ancient book he had found inside the Thousand Wind Palace was showing him, Xuan Hao began observing everything around him with a far more curious and excited expression on his face.

Not only was this a great opportunity for him to observe how strong Soul Ascension Realm Experts and those above the Soul Ascension Realm were, but it was also a good opportunity for him to examine the different Domain Lord Realm Experts below and learn from them.

As long as he had enough time, Xuan Hao was certain that he would be able to figure out how to increase the strengthen his domain even further, while at the same time getting a better understanding of the Soul Ascension Realm.

Having turned his full attention towards the battle taking place below between cultivators belonging to all sorts of different races, Xuan Hao noticed that there seemed to be three different major powers fighting on the massive battlefield below.

One belonged to the grotesque creatures he had seen during his time comprehending the Dao of Corruption in the enlightenment space.

Another belonged to an alliance of several large powers from different races that had allied together.

”Hm? This is... Interesting...”

Looking over two largest of the three major powers on the battlefield below, Xuan Hao seemed to notice something when turning his attention towards the third and smallest faction fighting on the battlefield below... They were clearly being targeted by the other two major powers!

At first, Xuan Hao had thought that all the different races below had united together to fight off against the creatures created by the Dao of Corruption... But upon closer inspection, the creatures of the Dao of Corruption were working together with the large number of powers from different races to supress the third major power!

However, even when being outnumbered, the third major power held on!

The main reason for this was quite easy to figure out, they had far more experts who had surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm. Only when the creatures from the Dao of Corruption and the alliance of the large powers from the different races combined could they barely supress them-

BOOOOOOM-!

”Hm?”

Just at this moment, a massive explosion could be heard below him as something rapidly flew into the air towards his current location and before he had any time to react, a man covered in blood standing close to four meters tall, stopped mid-air only a dozen meters away from where he was.

This... Is an expert that has surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm...?

Observing the tall and majestic looking man covered in blood, Xuan Hao could not help shivering as he clearly felt the soul tearing killing intent shaking the very space around him-

Crack-!

Not having any time to observe the tall and majestic looking man any further, the space a few hundred meters away was torn open before a handsome man with green hair and pointy ears stepped out from the crack in space.

Even without knowing who the other party was, it was easy to determine that he was an enemy of the tall man from the sinister smile plastered all over his face when looking towards the tall man.

”You escape very quickly, or did I hit you a little too hard earlier? No matter, after this battle, there will be no place in the divine realm for you and your sect!”

Hearing the pointy eared man speaking, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a wave of excitement rushing over him.

He understood what the other party was saying!

Even if it was spoken in some sort of ancient language, he could very clearly understand what the pointy eared man was saying!

Is it the book? Did it help me understand the ancient language? Anyways, this is a great thing. Maybe I will be able to get an idea about what happened here... Now, all I need is for them to not fight and instead continue talking!

Filled with excitement from the little information he had already gotten from the pointy eared man just now, Xuan Hao curiously turned towards the tall man. Hoping that he would continue the conversation so he could get more information.

”Hmph!”

”...”

However, to Xuan Hao’s disappointment, the tall man did not say a word. Instead just continuing to look towards pointy ears filled with killing intent. If not for the fact that he was gravely wounded, Xuan Hao was almost certain that he would have already jumped forward to kill pointy ears the moment he appeared...

”Hehe, as silent as always, I would have loved for us to chat for a bit longer about the past, but I still have to get back and deal with your companions...”

Chuckling to himself as he shook his head while saying this, pointy ears directly attacked-

RUMBLE~!

Before Xuan Hao had any time to comprehend what was happening, the space around himself and the tall man shattered as a terrifying aura engulfed the entire area.

Ptsh!

Not a second later the space rapidly healed up. Allowing Xuan Hao to see the fight taking place between the tall man and the pointy eared man.

At this point in time, the pointy eared one had a triumphant smirk on his face as a countless number of large lush vines with all kinds of exotic flowers blooming on them snaked their way around the bloodied tall man.

Crack~!’

Even from a distance, Xuan Hao could clearly hear as the tall man’s bones were broken by the vines, while all kinds of exotic poisons from the flowers on the vines themselves were weakening him even further by attacking his soul.

Everything had happened far too quickly for Xuan Hao to even grasp what had just happened and he could only watch with amazement as the vines slowly squeezed the life out of the tall man, while the poisonous flowers were doing their best to destroy his soul.

”Hehe, bye bye old friend, I waited a long time to get a chance to do thi-”

SCREEEEEEECH-!

However just as the pointed eared man was about to end the life of the tall man, a loud screeching sound belonging to some kind of bird like creature echoing out across the entire battlefield. Instantly causing him to freeze on the spot as a look of horror appeared on his face before turning to look in the direction of the screeching sound.

Looking at the battlefield below, Xuan Hao realized that almost everyone had stopped fighting as they were also similarly looking towards the origin of the voice filled with fear.

Among the people below, the only ones that didn’t stop fighting were the creatures from the Dao of Corruption that had already surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm and the people they were fighting.

From this, it was obvious that the screech just now seemed to have suppressed everyone that had yet to surpass the Soul Ascension Realm!

”Haha! Her excellency is back!”

Different from the fearful reaction of the pointy eared man, the tall man was filled with happiness as he exclaimed loudly.

”How... How is this possible!? My master and the rest clearly went to fight her... How did she return!?”

”Haha, of course those old ghosts are no match for the sect master. Even if you get the help of that thing from the abyss!”

”You...!”

Listening to the two experts talking, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious about who the person they were talking about was as he similarly looked into the distance filled with anticipation.
