Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Arriving back at the border between the Frozen Wastelands and the Azure Sky Kingdom, Xuan Hao did not take long to spot the flying ship located only a short distance away from the Ascendant Frost Hall.

”If I’m not wrong, that should be a flying ship belonging to the Sky Empire...”

Inspecting the flying ship, Xuan Hao did not take long to figure out who the flying ship belonged to, the symbol of the Sky Empire being etched into the side of the flying ship was especially helpful when it came to finding out where it was from...

Swish~

Not wanting to have to risk his full strength getting revealed and have to deal with the danger that might involve, Xuan Hao did not hesitate in the slightest when it came to using his domain to hide himself while moving close to the ground before sneakily making his way inside the frozen hell he had created not too long ago.

Luckily for him, it seemed that the frozen hell he had created could not only be used for preventing demonic cultivators from invading the Azure Sky Kingdom, but it could also be used for hiding his presence from the people standing on top of the flying ship fully focused on keeping an eye on the Frozen Wastelands.

After all, even if he could hide himself with his domain, he had no way to tell if the Sky Empire’s people had some kind of artifact that would be able to see through his domain.

Using the frozen hell as a cover together with his domain was the best way for him to sneak past them without getting discovered.

Like this, Xuan Hao slowly travelled through the frozen hell to not accidently alert the people from the Sky Empire.

”Looks like this should be far enough...”

Only after the flying ship had left the range of his divine sense and he could no longer see it, did he start relaxing before increasing his speed.

Whoosh-!

Not taking more than a few minutes to reach the other side of the frozen hell he had created after increasing his speed, Xuan Hao could not help momentarily freezing upon witnessing the scene on the other side of the frozen hell.

”To think there are so many demonic cultivators at the First Demonic Transformation Realm and below here...”

Indeed, different from his expectations of the demonic cultivators avoiding the frozen hell he had created, a large crowd of demonic cultivators below the Second Demonic Transformation Realm had decided gathered together on the other side of the frozen hell.

Just looking over the massive number of demonic cultivators gathered, Xuan Hao could at least count over a hundred demonic cultivators with strength comparable to the Nascent Soul Realm, while there were over a thousand demonic cultivators who had strength comparable to the Peak of the Core Formation... And that was not counting the tens of thousands demonic cultivators below this level...

Why did so many demonic cultivators gather here in such a short period of time?

This thought appeared in his head the moment he saw the massive gathering of demonic cultivators. Making him even more curious about just what had taken place inside the Frozen Wastelands for so many demonic cultivators to suddenly try and leave.

Outside the majority of demonic cultivators that were just waiting around, there were some demonic cultivators gathered close to the frozen hell that would sometime try to brave the terrifying frozen hell with a desperate look on their face... Of course, the only outcome of these demonic cultivators was death!

”...”

Deciding to try and get closer and see if he could find out anything from listening to the conversations between these demonic cultivators, Xuan Hao left the frozen hell before moving closer to the place where the demonic cultivators were all staying.

Given that none of the demonic cultivators were anywhere close to the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao did not bother hiding himself-

”Who is it!?”

”S-someone came out from the frozen hell!”

”Flying... No wings... I-It’s a Domain Lord from the Sky Empire!”

As a result, the demonic cultivators did not take long to spot him before they started panicking after realizing that he was flying without the help of wings or a special artifact. Not taking long to realize that person who had come from the frozen hell was not a demonic cultivator, but instead a Domain Lord Realm Expert!

Swoosh-!

Swoosh-!

Swoosh-!

Not daring to stay around knowing that the other party was a Domain Lord Realm expert from the empire that they had been trying to enter, the demonic cultivators rapidly began escaping in all direction. Knowing very well what would happen to them if the other party caught them!

”Hmph!”

Fwoosh!

Not intending to let any of them escape, Xuan Hao used his qi to form a hundred small swords that soon descended on the demonic cultivators.

”Agh-!”

”No! Please spare me great-”

”Damnable mainstream cultiva-”

”M-mercy- Ah!”

Given the sheer difference in strength between him and the demonic cultivators, what followed could only be considered to be a one-sided massacre. The hundred small swords formed by Xuan Hao beautifully dancing across the battlefield, cutting down one demonic cultivator after the other.

”Please don’t I-”

Ptsh!

Before long, almost all of the demonic cultivators ended up dying under the hundred small swords formed by Xuan Hao.

Not a single demonic cultivator managed to escape alive... Outside of a few demonic cultivators that had reached the First Demonic Transformation Realm that had deliberately been kept alive for information.

”Killing them is good... If not, I’m sure they will end up causing trouble in the future.”

Shaking his head as he muttered this to himself, Xuan Hao turned his attention towards the small group of demonic cultivators he had spared in hopes of them having some understanding over just what was currently happening inside the Frozen Wasteland for so many demonic cultivators to do their best at escaping the place.

”So then... If you don’t mind, I have a few questions to ask...”

”””...”””

Hearing what Xuan Hao said and feeling the terrifying pressure belonging to someone who had reached the Domain Lord Realm bearing down on them from above, the demonic cultivators in question could not help shivering all over.

Not only had the person in front of them just killed over ten thousand demonic cultivators, but he had also done so within less than a minute!

For this reason, the demonic cultivators had a feeling that the person in front of them was not a normal Domain Lord Realm Expert, but instead someone close to surpassing the Domain Lord Realm!

This realization made the still surviving demonic cultivators shiver even more, as they understood that there was likely no way out of their current situation. Even if they answered all of his questions, they understood that the most they would be able to get was a painless death!

After all, if they were in a similar situation as Xuan Hao, this is exactly what they would do. The only real difference would be the fact that they would most likely not even bother to ask any questions and would just devour the other party and try breaking through to the next realm.

”Your excellency... Is there a chance that you will let me go if I answer all of your questions...?”

Taking the first step forward, one of the demonic cultivators could not sit still for much longer as he shakingly stepped forward and asked the question that had been on all the remaining demonic cultivator’s mind.

Even if they were almost certain of the answer, they could not stop themselves from hoping that there would be a way out of their current situation deep down.

”Hm... It depends on the answer, I might let you go if its satisfying...”

Not wanting for the demonic cultivators to end up killing themselves or refuse to answer his questions, Xuan Hao decided to not outright say that he would kill them and instead gave them a possible way out.

At least his way, some of the demonic cultivators would do their best when it came to answering his question. Even if they understood deep down that it wouldn’t help their current situation.

Oh well... I can always abolish their cultivation and let them go, that way I will keep my word, while at the same time preventing them from causing any damage in the future...

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao soon began asking the demonic cultivators about the current situation of the Frozen Wasteland.

His main aim was to get a grasp over just what had been happening for so many demonic cultivators to start risking their life escaping from the Frozen Wastelands without caring about just how bad it would be for them to live in a place controlled by people who would hunt them down.

The surviving demonic cultivators did not bother hiding anything after hearing what he wanted to know and began fighting among each other to deliver the most in-depth answer. Hoping that there would be a chance for them to get out of their current situation alive.
