Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”-And that is how it is… If things go on for any longer, there is no doubt that the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands will overwhelm us!”

After Elder Cui from the Ascendant Frost Hall explained the current situation of their sect to Elder Song and Xuan Hao, he nervously turned to look towards both of them. After all, given the current situation of the Ascendant Frost Hall that he had explained to them, the Ascendant Frost Hall had no time to discuss things slowly over a few months and instead needed help to deal with the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands as quickly as possible.

Even a few weeks were too long to wait, as the demonic cultivators would more than likely have destroyed half the Ascendant Frost Hal at that point in time… And that was only in the case that no stronger demonic cultivators appeared during this time!

”Hm… Given what I’ve heard about the recent surge in demonic cultivators together with what you are saying, things are indeed looking bad for your Ascendant Frost Hall…”

”Indeed! That’s our main reason for coming here! Joining the Star Shattering Sect would allow us to not survive this ordeal and at the same time would also allow your sect to take control of the Azure Sky Kingdom more easily!”

Nodding his head upon hearing what Elder Song said, Elder Cui could not help stressing the matter of their reason for coming to the Star Shattering Sect, while also mentioning the benefits of them joining the Star Shattering Sect.

”…”

Silently watching Elder Cui and Elder Song start discussing about the matter of the Ascendant Frost Hall joining under the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao could not help rolling his eyes before deciding to leave.

Even if he didn’t understand the matter of absorbing a power like the Ascendant Frost Hall, Xuan Hao still understood that the discussion between Elder Song and Elder Cui would not end any time soon.

For that reason, Xuan Hao decided to leave the two alone while going outside to do something else while waiting for the two to conclude their discussion.

Swish~

Similar to Xuan Hao, the remaining elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall also silently decided to leave the room during Elder Cui and Elder Song’s discussion to silently sit down and cultivate in the small garden inside Elder Song’s courtyard. Knowing that there was no place for him to join the discussion between Elder Song and Elder Cui.

”How curious…” Muttering this to himself as he gazed towards the second elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall that started cultivating, Xuan Hao could not help marveling at the uniqueness of the cultivation technique used-

Wait… Maybe the cultivation mantra of the Ascendant Frost Hall is unique enough to complete the sect quest!?

As this thought occurred to him while watching the second elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall, Xuan Hao felt like he had to get his hands on the cultivation mantra of the Ascendant Frost Hall before he left for the capital of the Sky Empire.

But… Knowing the speed that it would take for Elder Song to finish up everything and start officially taking in the Ascendant Frost Hall, Xuan Hao understood that this matter would at least take a few months to complete!

Even if a group of elders at the Nascent Soul Realm were sent over to ensure that the Ascendant Frost Hall remained safe during this period of time, the different techniques and cultivation mantras of the Ascendant Frost Hall would most likely not enter the Great Library before he had already left for the capital of the Sky Empire…

Not to mention, the techniques and cultivation mantras of the Ascendant Frost Hall entering the Great Library of the sect would not count towards the completion of his sect quest!

From the looks of it, his only chance at being able to complete the sect quest before having to leave for the capital of the Sky Empire, was getting his hands on the cultivation mantra of the Ascendant Frost Hall. Now the only question that remained, was how…

Given that the Ascendant Frost Hall was going to join under the Star Shattering Sect, he could not really go and forcefully take away their cultivation mantra.

Taking it away secretly was not really an option either, as the Ascendant Frost Hall would likely learn about their cultivation mantra having been stolen and put into the Great Library at some point in the future…

”Hm… If none of that works, why don’t I just visit the Ascendant Frost Hall personally and ask about it? With my strength, I should be able to set up some protection against the demonic cultivators coming from the Frozen Wastelands and convince them to give me their cultivation mantra…” Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao soon nodded his head.

”Yes, I will do it like that!”

Swish~

Having come up with a way to get his hands on the cultivation mantra of the Ascendant Frost Hall, Xuan Hao turned around and made his way back inside Elder Song’s courtyard where Elder Song and Elder Cui were still energetically discussing with each other.

…

”-And then we can go along with- Hm?”

Suddenly seeing Xuan Hao reappear after having left just a few minutes earlier, both Elder Song and Elder Cui could not help stopping their conversation as both of them curiously turned to look towards him.

”Grand Elder Xuan? Is there something wrong?”

”Elder Song, I just thought about a way to deal with the Ascendant Frost Hall’s immediate problem with the demonic cultivators and wanted to suggest that instead of using a large number of Nascent Soul Realm Elders to deal with the matter.”

”Hm? Let’s hear it then! If it can be done without sending a dozen or so Nascent Soul Realm Elders over, I will be more than happy to follow along with your suggestion!”

Narrowing his eyes in anticipation after hearing what Xuan Hao said, both Elder Song and Elder Cui gazed towards Xuan Hao, waiting for him to explain how he wanted to help the Ascendant Frost Hall with the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands.

”Instead of having a group of Nascent Soul Realm Elders go- I will go myself and deal with the matter!”

”Wha- Don’t you have to leave for the sect alliance establishment in another few weeks?! How do you have time to deal with the matter of the Ascendant Frost Hall in this period of time?”

Showing a doubtful expression on his face after hearing that Xuan Hao would be going to the Ascendant Frost Hall himself, Elder Song could not help reminding him that he would be leaving for the capital of the Sky Empire in a few weeks.

With this in mind, there was no time for him to be going to the Ascendant Frost Hall and helping them deal with the surge in demonic cultivators. Even if he could go there for a week and keep things under control, he would still have to leave, and the Ascendant Frost Hall would soon enter into a state of crisis once again!

”Don’t worry about it, I’m planning to leave a few things behind for the Ascendant Frost Hall to block out the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands before leaving. Not to mention, I’m quite curious about the recent surge in demonic cultivators and also plan to have a quick look inside the Frozen Wastelands to see if I can find out anything about what is happening and see if I can stop it from affecting us.

After all, if things inside the Frozen Wastelands continue to escalate and the demonic cultivators coming out gets stronger and stronger, we will not only have to deal with demonic cultivators comparable to the Nascent Soul Realm!”

Reassuring Elder Song that he would properly deal with the matter of the Ascendant Frost Hall, Xuan Hao also told him about wanting to check out the situation of the Frozen Wasteland.

Although checking out the situation of the Frozen Wasteland was not originally a part of his plan and was only something he said to convince Elder Song, Xuan Hao did plan to do it, as he was curious about the current situation of the Frozen Wasteland…

”Hm… I understand, you can take the other elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall with you when going to the Ascendant Frost Hall… Me and Elder Cui will continue discussing the matter of them officially joining us.”

Given the fact that he had already told Elder Song about the appearance of a terrifying demonic cultivator surpassing the strength of the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao understood that Elder Song would not refuse his suggestion, so him agreeing with his suggestion did not come as a surprise.

Instead, the thing that caught Xuan Hao slightly off guard, was the fact that Elder Song asked him to bring the second elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall along with him… But then again, it would be far easier to explain his reason for showing up if he brought an elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall along with him…

”Thanks, I still have some matters to finish before leaving… So, with that in mind, I plan to leave for the Ascendant Frost Hall around tomorrow.”

”Understandable, Elder Cui here should also want some time to discuss the matter with his fellow elder…”

As Xuan Hao and Elder Song talked with each other, Elder Cui had completely zoned out trying to figure out what Xuan Hao’s identity was. Only when hearing his own name being called out did he realize both Xuan Hao and Elder Song were looking towards him.

”Y-yes!”

Not knowing what else to say, Elder Cui just answered with a simple nervous yes before seeing Xuan Hao turn to leave once again.
