Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Rumble!

Following a loud rumbling sound, the dark red lighting clouds gathered above Chu Yang rapidly descended towards Chu Yang.

Whoosh-!

As the red lighting cloud got closer and closer to Chu Yang directly below it and began shrinking rapidly in preparation to enter his dantian and merge together with his nascent soul, the violent lighting contained inside the red lighting cloud was forcefully pushed out-

BOOOOM-!

What followed was a loud thunderstrike, as Chu Yang was hit head on by the terrifying lighting of his cloud tribulation.

”Ahh-!”

Having no time to prepare or defend against almost instantaneous attack, Chu Yang could only let out a cry of pain as his body was charred by the terrifying lighting. The strength he had felt when breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm was now completely gone, as he was injured all over from the lighting strike.

The speed of lighting was simply not something he could react to and defend against with his current cultivation realm…

Swish~

After the lighting had been purged the red lighting cloud that was no bigger than an apple at this point in time reached Chu Yang before forcefully entering his body and starting the process of merging together with his nascent soul. Not giving him any time to recover from the lightning strike he had been hit with just earlier.

Not only that, but the moment the blood red cloud began merging together with his soul, part of the blood red cloud split up before transforming into a massive rain cloud that covered his entire dantian.

Splash~

Splash~

Splash~

Not even a second later, a blood red rain came down from the rain cloud that had formed inside his dantian. Soon filling up his entire dantian before spreading out to all corners of his body through his meridians.

Crack~

Following the blood red rainwater spreading through his meridians to his entire body, a loud cracking sound spread throughout his body, as the blood red rainwater began seeping into his body from his meridian. Slowly starting to forcefully change and refine his body.

Feeling both a soul tearing pain from the small red cloud that had condensed down to the size of an apple merging together with his nascent soul, Chu Yang also felt the pain of having his body broken before being reconstructed again by the blood red rainwater.

At this point in time, he could not pay any attention to what was happening outside and was fully focused on trying his best to remain conscious under the pain!

The only thing that mattered to Chu Yang in this moment, was overcoming his cloud tribulation and successfully becoming a Nascent Soul Realm Expert!

if he failed now, he would in the best-case scenario have to start over from the Qi Condensation Realm and in the worst case, die…

Even if he was still young and could cultivate back to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm again if he was lucky enough to survive, Chu Yang understood that it would forever leave a shadow in his heart and would also disappoint his master.

Not to mention this, Qing Yi would overtake him and given the distance that would be placed between them if he failed and master saved him, Chu Yang understood that he would likely not be able to catch up to her if he failed to overcome the cloud tribulation…

…

The lightning strike was more than powerful enough to kill a normal First stage Nascent Soul Realm Expert… But it was only the first part of the Cloud Tribulation! Not to mention this, his cloud tribulation seems to be split into a soul tribulation and a body tribulation.

Thinking this to himself as he kept an eye on the situation taking place inside Chu Yang’s dantian, Xuan Hao could not help being taken aback by the cloud tribulation that his disciple was experiencing.

After all, the red lightning cloud, the fact that the cloud tribulation had attacked him before entering his dantian to merge together with his nascent soul, the blood red rain. All of this was far from a normal cloud tribulation!

Chu Yang was the first person, outside of himself, that he had seen experiencing a cloud tribulation different from the normal bronze, silver or golden cloud tribulation that was commonplace across the Ewaria Continent.

”However, it’s different from the cloud tribulation I went through…” Muttering this to himself as he remained focused on the things taking place inside Chu Yang’s body and dantian, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he recalled his own cloud tribulation.

Back when then, he had broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm and was faced with a cloud tribulation that was completely different from the ones he had been told about by Feng Chen, Elder Song, and the rest of the core elders of the Flying Sword Sect, who had told him about their cloud tribulations to help him getting ready to break through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

Given that he had never seen anything like it, he had just thought that he experienced a cloud tribulation belonging to the level above that of a golden cloud tribulation… But after seeing Chu Yang’s cloud tribulation, Xuan Hao had a feeling that this was not the case.

Even without knowing too much about cloud tribulations, Xuan Hao could still tell with some certainty that Chu Yang’s cloud tribulation was somehow affected by his special golden core. The theme of the cloud tribulation after it entered his dantian was a dead giveaway…

But if that is really the case, how is my cloud tribulation related to my golden core? From what I remember, it should not be anything special… Or perhaps the cloud tribulation is not only affected by the golden core, but also the body…

Not thinking anymore about this as he would not be able to get an answer to this question before his special physique awakened, Xuan Hao continued watching Chu Yang struggling at the brink of death against his cloud tribulation.

After a few more minutes passed with Chu Yang at the brink of death, the cloud tribulation finally came to an end-

BOOOOOM-!

A violent explosion could be heard coming from Chu Yang’s body, as he successfully overcame the cloud tribulation and fully stepped into the First Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

The blood red cloud inside his dantian finished merging together with his nascent soul and the last bit of blood red rainwater was absorbed by his body through his meridians!

…

BOOOOOM-!

Feeling an endless power filling up his body and soul, Chu Yang could not fully control his strength after having absorbed the blood red cloud tribulation. Accidently destroying his surroundings before his master stepped in to contain the outburst of power from spreading further.

I… I reached the Nascent Soul Realm!?

However, all of this was not on Chu Yang’s mind, as he sat on the ground examining the situation of his dantian and body. Feeling the seemingly endless strength that now coursed through his meridians and filled him with a feeling of invincibility.

Even if it was just a feeling and he wasn’t truly invincible after reaching the Nascent Soul Realm, Chu Yang was still taken aback by this feeling, as he fully immersed himself in it. Understanding to some extent why some Nascent Soul Realm Experts ended up getting arrogant due to the massive increase in strength one would experience after breaking through from the Core Formation Realm to the Nascent Soul Realm.

With his current strength, Chu Yang did not doubt that he would easily be able to kill a hundred if not more of his past selves before he had broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm!

”Haaaa….” Slowly calming down after feeling how his master had forcefully restrained his power from spreading outside of a 20-meter area around him, Chu Yang could not help smiling wryly.

Compared to master, I’m still far from being considered invincible…

Thinking this to himself, Chu Yang quickly started the process of restraining his aura and controlling his strength. Dedicating all his attention to stabilize his cultivation realm. After all, he didn’t want to randomly burst out with his strength and destroy anything close to him when walking around the sect.

…

”He really broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm…” Watching Chu Yang’s break through from start to finish, Qing Yi could not help showing an amazed expression on her face.

Even standing beside her master and not being the target of the cloud tribulation, Qing Yi still felt terrified when she had seen the red lighting cloud forming above Chu Yang. The lighting strike that followed was even more terrifying, as Qing Yi understood that if she was faced with it, she would have died!

With this in mind, Qing Yi could not stop herself from admiring Chu Yang and the fact that he had overcome such a terrifying cloud tribulation and reached the Nascent Soul Realm…
