Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Master, it’s Qing Yi, I wanted to ask you about something…”

”Come in.”

Putting away the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra after hearing Qing Yi calling out to him from the entrance to his room, Xuan Hao allowed her to enter.

Creak~

Following what he said, Qing Yi soon opened the door to the room before entering with a somewhat nervous expression on her face.

Looking at her, Xuan Hao could not help reminiscing over how much she had improved over the past year.

Not only had she improved a lot when it came to alchemy and could already be considered to have reached the level of a skilled Expert Alchemist, close to the peak of the realm… But she had also managed breakthrough to the Fifth Stage of the Core Formation Realm a few weeks ago!

Even if her strength had not improved on the same level as Chu Yang, who had already managed to reach the Seventh Stage of the Core Formation Realm, she was not lacking too far behind considering she was also spending a large amount of time improving her alchemy.

If Chu Yang found a profession like Qing Yi in the future, Xuan Hao was almost sure that she would be able to catch up to him. Maybe even overtake him and become the strongest among his three disciples!

”What is it you wanted to ask me about?”

Turning his attention back to Qing Yi as he watched her nervously standing in front of him, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious about what she had come to ask him about for her to be so nervous… At the very least, he could tell that it should not be something related to cultivation or alchemy for her to be like this.

”I-I wanted to ask master if I could return to my family for a few days…”

”Hm? Return to your family? Did something perhaps happen?” Hearing what Qing Yi said, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he thought something might have happened to her family. The first reason that popped into his mind was that the Black Rose Sect that had completely disappeared had reappeared and taken revenge on the people who had been related to them being forced into hiding.

”No! It’s not anything like that! I-I just wanted to go back and see my father again, as it has already been over a year since I last saw him…” Not wanting her master to end up misunderstanding her, Qing Yi quickly explained her reason for wanting to visit her family.

Seeing the expression on Qing Yi’s face as she explained why she wanted to go back to see her father, Xuan Hao quickly understood that the girl was missing her father. Different from Chu Yang and Bai Ning who had no family left in the world and only had him to look after them, Qing Yi still had a father that loved her very much.

Not seeing her father for over a year, had obviously made her miss him very much…

”I see… You are free to go back and visit your family for a few days, there is no need to ask me about something like this in the future.”

”Thank you master!”

Not wanting to restrict her disciple from seeing her father, Xuan Hao decided to let her go and see him. After all, he was not looking to force his disciple to only stay in the sect and give up her family from before he joined the sect!

”You can go now. Go and see your father.”

”Yes!”

Whoosh~

Not waiting around after getting her master’s permission, Qing Yi rushed out of his room before making her way towards the stables to get her hands on a flying demon beast that would make her travel back home faster.

Even if the number of flying demon beasts in the Flying Sword Sect were limited, Qing Yi could easily get her hands on one with her current strength and status as a disciple of the strongest elder of the Flying Sword Sect!

”I should also get going, I still have to put the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra into the new library…”

Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao jumped into the air before leaving for the Shattered Star Peaks. Intending to place the new cultivation mantra he had just gotten his hands on into the new library located on the Seventh Star Peak.

Given his current strength, the distance between the Shattered Star Peaks and the Flying Sword Sect could easily be covered in a minute or less time, something unimaginable to a normal Domain Lord.

…

Whoosh~

”Looks like they have already begun moving the elders and the disciples from the Spring Flower Sect over…” Arriving at the Seventh Star Peak, Xuan Hao felt a bit surprised watching a large number of both elders and disciples moving around the almost finished library with excited expressions on their faces.

Different from the current Flying Sword Sect where the knowledge had been split up into several different pagodas, the new library would contain all the knowledge from both the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect!

The Heaven Rank cultivation mantras and qi techniques were all stored in a special location inside the library itself, but outside of this, most of the knowledge were available for these elders and disciples to read.

The architect who had come up with this massive library located towards the centre of the Seventh Star Peak, was Shu Yao.

Now that I think about it, I wonder what Zu Fei and Shu Yao ended up doing to Feng Chen…

Remembering how the two of them had conspired together to get Feng Chen to work with them on the new main sect, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious about what had happened to Feng Chen.

At least he had not heard about anything happening to him yet, so he could at the very least confirm that the two had not done anything yet-

Or perhaps they have already done something, but no one discovered anything yet…?

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao soon found a place for the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra inside the library.

”Hm… If someone finds this in the future, they will surely think that its some kind of demonic cultivation mantra…” Muttering this to himself as he glanced down at the small book with the words Dark Shadow Demon Mantra written on it, Xuan Hao worried that it might end up scaring away anyone from practicing it in the future.

”Ah! Why don’t I do it like that!?”

Rumble~

Exclaiming loudly as he suddenly had an idea, Xuan Hao used his domain to create a small bookshelf in a small empty location before placing the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra inside of it.

”Hm… Now for the finishing touch-”

Whoosh~

”That’s it!”

Smiling happily while looking at the brand-new bookshelf he had just made, Xuan Hao could not help nodding his head in satisfaction before leaving the library.

…

”Hey, are you not looking for a new cultivation mantra given that the one you are practicing now is incompatible with you?”

”Yes… I have been looking for a new cultivation mantra for the past two days, I thought that since we merged together with the Flying Sword Sect, they might have a cultivation mantra that would be compatible with me… However, in the end, I have yet to find anything that works…”

Shortly after Xuan Hao left the library, two young girls from the Spring Flower Sect walked towards the bookshelf he had just finished constructing.

”Hm? What is that? I didn’t see this before… Perhaps they brought in some new cultivation mantras for the library?”

As one of the two spotted the new bookshelf, the other young girl who was lamenting over not being able to find a cultivation mantra that was compatible with her instantly rushed over before standing directly in front of the new bookshelf with only a single cultivation mantra on it.

”Dark Shadow Demon Mantra? Is this some sort of demonic cultivation mantra…?” Reading the title of the cultivation mantra on the bookshelf, the young girl could not help frowning.

[Demonic sounding cultivation mantras that are not demonic cultivation mantras]

Just as she was about to put the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra back on to the bookshelf, she spotted a wooden board attached to the side of the bookshelf.

”…”

Not knowing what to say when she saw this, the young girl could only smile wryly as her friend soon came over.

”What is it, is it interest-”

Only to stare speechlessly at the wooden board like her friend after seeing the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra in her hand.

Given that the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra might be mistaken for a demonic cultivation mantra in the future, Xuan Hao had made a brand-new bookshelf for it. Writing in bold letters on top of a wooden board attached to the bookshelf.

”Guess… I will try it out…” Not having been able to find a cultivation mantra that was fitting for the past two days, the young girl with the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra in her hand, bit her lower lip as she said this.

Intending to give the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra that sounded like a demonic cultivation mantra a try.
