Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Back in the Flying Sword Sect, close to half a year had passed since the construction of the new main sect on the Seventh Star Peak began.

During this time, Xuan Hao had managed to learn a plethora of new techniques that he could teach his three disciples, while at the same time increasing his knowledge in the different professions that existed across the Ewaria Continent. Even learning about some of the more obscure professions that the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect had no experts in, like the art of tea and disguise.

The art of tea was especially something he was interested in and while trying his hand on it himself one time in the kitchen located inside his pavilion. Unfortunately, he was not really skilled when it came to tea brewing…

However, it was at this time that he happened to meet Zhi Ruo and after a short conversation on the topic of tea, he discovered that she had a talent when it came to the Art of Tea. Although she was not talented when it came to cultivation, Xuan Hao did not care much about this as she was not his disciple.

Wanting to have someone skilled in the art of tea around him, Xuan Hao decided to get some books on the art of tea for Zhi Ruo to train with, something she was more than happy to do, as practicing the art of tea brewing would not only allow her to improve the quality of the tea, she made but would also help her mind clear up and allow her to increase her cultivation over time.

”Thank you so much!”

Seeing the happy expression on Zhi Ruo’s face after he handed over the stack of books filled with information on the art of tea, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a wave of happiness.

In the future, I should try and get a few more books on the art of tea if possible…

Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao once again returned to his daily life of learning new techniques and teaching his three disciples. However, this time around, he would also spend some time together with Zhi Ruo to see how far she had improved in the art of tea brewing.

Like this, another half year passed by peacefully.

…

”Looks like the construction of the new main sect is finally about to be completed.” After little over a year of cultivating in peace at his pavilion and teaching his disciples, Xuan Hao stood up and stretched his body after a night of cultivating under the stars before looking in the direction of the Shattered Star Peaks.

Over the past year, his cultivation realm had not changed, and he was still in the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

The main reason for this, was the fact that he had dedicated most of his focus on comprehending his two domains in an attempt to merge the two together. Sadly, although he did make some progress and increased the strength of both his domains, he was still far away from merging them together into a single domain.𝒩eew updates 𝒂t n𝒐vel/bi𝒏(.)com

Given his current speed, he would most likely take five to ten years to successfully merge the two domains together without any help from external sources.

After he merged his Ice Domain and Sword Domain together, he would then be able to attempt a breakthrough into the Soul Ascension Realm!

As for reaching the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm? Xuan Hao didn’t doubt that he would be able to do that before merging both of his domains together. Not to mention, the system could always reward him with an increase in cultivation and allow him to reach the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm…

At the moment, the quests he had active was the sect quest to increase the strength of the Flying Sword Sect, the quest related to Chu Yang’s sense of direction that was most likely just asking him to help Chu Yang reach the Nascent Soul Realm and the one that wanted him to spread out interspatial rings across the world…

Among these three quests given by the system, the one related to the strength of the Flying Sword Sect did not increase his strength and would instead increase the strength of the sect. Given the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect would be officially a single sect after the completion of the new main sect, Xuan Hao expected to complete this quest after the completion of the new main sect.

The one related to Chu Yang and the quest wanting him to throw away interspatial rings were both a mystery, as both of them did not state what reward he would gain from completing them. An increase in cultivation could be one of the rewards, but it could also be something completely different.

Thinking about the limited time quest, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he pulled it up with the help of the system.

[Limited Time Quest: You have found a brilliant way to recruit new potential disciples! Scatter 1000 interspatial rings around the world. The system will add a specific test to the ring that will test the potential future disciples. Interspatial Rings will only be counted towards the quest if they are scattered a certain distance away from each other. Timer will begin upon reaching the Domain Lord Realm!]

[Time: 8.6 years]

[1097/1000]

[Reward: vary depending on the amount of successfully scattered interspatial rings]

In a sense he had already completed the quest, but it seemed like he would not be able to get a reward before the timer ended and it looked like he would have to make more interspatial rings to throw away for a better reward. The only problem was… The Moon Silver he had used to make interspatial rings had run out!

It had lasted for a far longer time that he had expected, but in the end, he was now left with nothing to make new interspatial rings whenever he had time to waste…

”Hah… Looks like I will have to find some more Moon Silver in the future, or at least something comparable to it that can be used for interspatial rings if I want to try and get a better reward from the system…” Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao inevitably thought about Yi Min.

Given the number of spiritual metals in her possession, she would surely have a few suitable for making interspatial rings with-

Hm? Who is it?

Whoosh~

Suddenly noticing an unfamiliar elder approaching his pavilion, Xuan Hao frowned before moving to the front of the pavilion to meet the elder who was coming.

…

”Did something happen?”

”Ah! Elder Xuan?! Y-you gave me a shock. Appearing in front of me like that… No nothing serious happened, I just came here on behalf of myself and a few other elders who wanted to join your quarterly lecture that is starting in a few hours!

You don’t have to worry about us interrupting your lecture! All of us will be completely silent and will just listen on the side without saying anything.” Almost jumping into the air upon seeing Xuan Hao suddenly appear in front of him, the elder quickly explained his reason for showing up. Making sure to explain he was here on behalf of not only himself but a group of elders.

Ah… That’s right, there is also the repeatable sect quest… Because it was once every 3 months, I decided to get Elder Song’s help in arranging the lectures and helping select the participants for me.

If I’m not wrong, this time around, the lecture should be for the older disciples in the Foundation Establishment and Core Formation Realm who won in a tournament set up by Elder Song… No wonder these elders want to join in as well, they want to listen to Core Formation Realm part of the lecture!

Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao could not help smiling. The elders of the Flying Sword Sect might be a bit lazy when it came to certain things, but when it came down to it, they still wanted to improve their cultivation.

Maybe holding a lecture for the Core Formation Realm Elders in the future is a good idea… I should ask Elder Song about this later.

”Sure, you and the other elders are welcome to join.”

”Thank you! I will go and inform the others as quickly as possible!”

Not seeing any reason to refuse the elder, Xuan Hao chuckled silently to himself as he watched the elder excitedly run down the mountain before rushing towards a group of elders anxiously waiting not too far away from his mountain.

Following the elder returning with the news of them being able to listen in on the lecture if they remained silent, the group of elders all jumped up excitedly before praising the elder who had ventured up the mountain to ask him.

It was a quite heart-warming thing to witness the old elders acting like this…
