Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

At the same time Xuan Hao sat down inside the capital of the Sky Empire to meditate, Yi Min made it to the border of the Iron Sky Kingdom where the dome trapping the sect master of the Frost Devil Sect and the rabbit demon beast had been just a few seconds earlier.

”Haa… To think that guy showed up as well, did he perhaps make up with the imperial family and decided to help them for no reason…?”

Staring at the towers surrounding the border that formed into an enormous formation, Yi Min could not help muttering this to herself upon spotting the person standing at the forefront of the group of people standing just outside her formation.

At least the formation prevented anyone other than her from looking through it… If not, the people standing outside would surely have seen just how annoyed she was after seeing them…

Swish~

Having made sure who, the people standing outside her formation were, Yi Min didn’t stand around staring at them from behind her formation for much longer, as she took a step forward and left the formation.

Soon finding herself face to face with the group of experts sent by the Sky Empire to deal with the two demonic cultivators and the rabbit demon beast that had entered the Sky Empire… Causing no small amount of damage along the way.

This was especially true for the demonic cultivator called Black Hand, as he had ended up killing quite a few weaker Domain Lords belonging to the Sky Empire along the way to further increase his speed during the chase and to help increase his own cultivation at the same time!

”Haha, Yi Min, you finally decided to come out? I wonder where that Xuan Hao fellow is, is he perhaps not coming out? Don’t tell me you told him to stay behind because-”

”Shut it, aren’t you here to chase the two demonic cultivators and the rabbit demon beast that entered the Sky Empire? How do you have time to stay here to chat?” Not letting the man in front of the group finish his sentence, Yi Min rudely interrupted him before saying this. Not feeling the least bit apologetic over what she said.

”You! How dare- Wait… Didn’t you deal with the two demonic cultivators and the rabbit demon beast already…?” About to explode after hearing how Yi Min had interrupted him, the man at the forefront of the group suddenly realized what she had said.

”Hehe~” Seeing the surprised expression on the man’s face, Yi Min could not help chuckling to herself upon realizing that the other party had thought she had dealt with both of the demonic cultivators and the rabbit demon beast already.

”Nope, one of the demonic cultivators happened to escape, I think it would be a good idea for you to get going… If not, you won’t be able to catch him before he runs away~” Saying this, Yi Min watched the expression of the man change greatly.

After all, he, and the people behind him were all there to deal with the three intruders from the Frozen Wasteland.

”Is that true? One of them escaped…?”

”Which direction did he escape in?”

”This damn bastard… If the emperor finds out that we let one of them escape because we waited here for no reason…”

”Let’s go, maybe we can still catch the demonic cultivator who escaped, he should be quite exhausted after escaping from such a powerful formation!”

The only reason why the people behind the man had even bothered waiting in front of Yi Min’s formation, was because the man at the forefront had told them that all three of them were trapped inside Yi Min’s formation and were as good as dead.

For this reason, they had decided to listen to the man and wait in front of the formation, so that even if they escaped, they would still be caught the moment they managed to escape from the formation!

”He escaped in that direction!”

Whoosh~

Whoosh~

Whoosh~

Because of this, the people who had come under orders of the emperor of the Sky Empire used their movement techniques to move in the direction of the demonic cultivator that escaped the moment Yi Min told them the way he had escaped in.

”…”

Like this, only the man who had convinced the others to stay behind and wait in front of Yi Min’s formation. Hoping to use them to intimidate Yi Min, was left behind all alone. Only able to awkwardly stare at Yi Min staring down at him just beside her formation.

Clearly, Yi Min was ready to jump back inside her formation the moment he decided to do anything suspicious…

”So, might I be so bold as to ask for what reason the distinguished head of the Hollow Thunder Family decided to join the subjugation force set up by the emperor of the Sky Empire just to visit me? Surely your not just here to show you loyalty to the Sky Empire…”

Revealing the identity of the man who had remained behind to be a member of the Hollow Thunder family, Yi Min calmly waited for his response.

After all, even if she was confident in dealing with the man in front of her who was the head of the Hollow Thunder family, she had no confidence to deal with the Hollow Thunder family itself.

The main reason for this being the fact that it was one of the Sky Empire’s noble families that enjoyed some form of protection by both the three religions and the Imperial family, who both tried to take control over them.

The other reason was the fact that she was not confident in dealing with the ancestor of the Hollow Thunder family, as he had been rumoured to have reached the Soul Ascension Realm!

Even if this might not be true in the end, Yi Min didn’t want to risk enter a life and death struggle with the Hollow Thunder family. Especially now that she had found out that her formation was still not fully repaired.

”You know exactly why I’m here and- Wait! Your formation is clearly more than strong enough to deal with the two demonic cultivators and the demon beast. How come one of the- You let one of the demonic cultivators escape earlier!?” Suddenly realizing something, the head of the Hollow Thunder family stared at Yi Min filled with surprise as he said this after having investigated her formation thoroughly with his divine sense during the short time they had spent talking.

During this time, he understood to some extend just how scary the formation in front of him was. Even if he had tried breaking it with the group of experts from earlier, he might not be able to succeed!

How could one of the two demonic cultivators possibly escape in such a situation?

”Maybe~ Who knows~?” Knowing that the weakness in her formation did not show itself unless someone was trapped inside of it, Yi Min decided to play along with the head of the Hollow Thunder family’s train of thought. Not forgetting to show a taunting smile along the way.

”You! How- What- Ah!”

Seeing the frustrated expression on the head of the Hollow Thunder family’s face, as he thought Yi Min had already known about him being in the group sent out to subjugate the two demonic cultivators and the demon beast and set up a trap for him to walk into, Yi Min felt extremely happy.

”Hehe, if you are done playing around, how about giving me a reason as to your sudden arrival? I don’t have all day to waste time like a certain someone who is supposed to be chasing down a demonic cultivator right now~” Chuckling a bit to herself as she felt happy watching the increasingly pissed off expression of the person in front of her, Yi Min prepared herself in case the other party decided to attack her in a fit of rage.

Even if it was not something an expert at the Domain Lord Realm would do, Yi Min understood that the people from the noble family’s seemed way more prone to this, as they lost control of their emotions rather easily…

”Haa… Don’t think I don’t know what you are trying to do! I will be back!”

Swish~!

Barely managing to stop himself from doing something stupid, the head of the Hollow Thunder family turned around after saying this before using a movement technique to rapidly move in the direction that the rest of the group of experts he had come together with had disappeared in just a few seconds earlier.

No matter how much he wanted to continue talking with Yi Min and get to the reason as to why he had come to seek her out through such an unconventional method, he still understood that it would be a bad idea for him to abandon the mission which the emperor had bestowed upon him. Especially so considering the fact that he might end up being blamed for one of the demonic cultivators escaped…
