Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Moving closer and closer to the hole in the ground that the rabbit demon beast had come from, Xuan Hao made sure that he was not discovered as he slowly jumped down the hole without the rabbit demon beast or the demonic cultivator noticing him in the process.

In a sense, Xuan Hao felt grateful that the demonic cultivator was kind enough to help him distract the guardian demon beast, as the rabbit demon beast was clearly far stronger than he had expected. Even having the ability to fight the demonic cultivator without being at a disadvantage!

If he had to fight the guardian demon beast by himself, Xuan Hao doubted that he would have been able to win. Even if he did, he would most likely end up injured in the process…

”Haa… No use thinking about it, I just have to get the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb and get out of here before the fight ends…” Shaking his head as he muttered this to himself while moving deeper down the hole that the rabbit demon beast had dug out, Xuan Hao glanced towards the surface where the loud sounds of fighting constantly echoed out before continuing to make his way down the hole created by the rabbit demon beast.

Not even a few seconds after he had started making his way down the hole, Xuan Hao reached a tunnel around the same size as the rabbit demon beast at the bottom of the hole.

Having nowhere else to go and with the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb nowhere in sight, Xuan Hao did not stand around for long as he entered the tunnel.

Soon finding himself in the middle of a relatively small underground space just barely big enough for the rabbit demon beast to live inside of.

Looking around the small space that visibly carried the aura of the rabbit demon beast, it did not take long for him to find a small flower surrounded by extremely pure spiritual water at the centre. Especially given the fact that the flower itself leaked an extremely powerful aura that made it hard to ignore.

”The Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb! From the looks of it, it should have already matured… The rabbit demon beast should have been just about to devour it!” Instantly realizing that the flower was the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb that he had been looking for, Xuan Hao could not help smiling happily upon realizing that it had fully matured.

As for how, Yi Min, who had not yet reached the Domain Lord Realm, would have been able to escape after having seen the flower in the past? Xuan Hao didn’t really care, as he carefully harvested it before taking out a small wooden container to store the flower inside of.

The wooden container was of course not made of normal wood, but was made of spiritual wood and had been engraved with several different formations to make sure the spiritual herb would not be damaged in any way. At the same time, the wooden container also helped seal the aura of the flower!

Of course… This was not perfect, as parts of the aura still leaked out. Even when the flower had been placed inside his interspatial ring! The flower was simply way too powerful and Xuan Hao had no way to fully seal it without damaging it with his current cultivation!

Swish~

Not wanting to leave behind the pure spiritual water that the rabbit demon beast had likely gathered to help the flower mature, Xuan Hao decided to also take it away together with the flower.

Not only the pure spiritual water, but Xuan Hao also took anything precious inside the rabbit demon beast’s home. Spiritual Herbs, spirit stones, artifacts and all kinds of things it had collected over its long life was directly taken away by Xuan Hao.

In the end, he had filled up more than three interspatial rings!

Whoosh~!

The entire thing happened in an instant, as Xuan Hao harvested the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb and the rest of the rabbit demon beast’s treasures before rushing back towards the surface. Not wanting to stay around in case it returned and realized that its spiritual herb and all its treasures had been stolen.

…

Now… How do I get out of here without getting found…?

Boom-boom-boom!

Peeking up from the hole in the ground towards the battle taking place only a short distance away from his current location, Xuan Hao did not sneak away with the use of his ice domain like he had done before…

The main reason for this, was that he was certain that the two fighting in the air above him would notice the aura of the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb the moment he left his current location and tried escaping.

Digging through the ground trying to escape their vision was not an option either, as the act of digging through the ground would be far easier to spot. Let alone someone at the Domain Lord Realm. Even someone at the Nascent Soul Realm would notice him if he tried digging right under them!

Of course, there were some exceptions to this… Like the rabbit demon beast currently locked in a deadly battle with the demonic cultivator...

”Haa…” Not seeing any way out of his current situation without the two spotting him, Xuan Hao wished that he could also become a rabbit demon beast and dig through the ground without anyone noticing him….

Bang!

”Ah-!”

However, this did of course not happen, as the demonic cultivator above was suddenly sent flying into a nearby mountain by the rabbit demon beast.

ROAR!

Roaring loudly filled with killing intent. Having shed his human form and looking like a massive demon that had crawled out from the depths of hell several times larger than his normal size, the demonic cultivator flapped his massive demonic wings as he and the rabbit demon beast violently ripped each other apart, causing rivers of blood to form beneath them as their massive bodies rapidly healed any damage they took.

The fight seemed to get more brutal the longer it went on, as both parties continued the fight with no intention of retreating.

”…”

Watching this take place, Xuan Hao had no idea what to say, as the demonic cultivator no longer used any techniques and instead used his physical body to fight with the rabbit demon beast.

Maybe this is a chance…?

Suddenly realizing that both the rabbit demon beast and the demonic cultivator seemed to be fully absorbed on each other as they violently ripped each other apart, Xuan Hao decided to sneak out from the hole in the ground under the cover of his ice domain. Slowly moving away from the battlefield of the rabbit demon beast and the demonic cultivator.

Riiip~

ROOOOAR!

Just at this moment, the demonic cultivator suddenly seemed to have gained the upper hand in the brutal melee fight, as he ripped off two of the rabbit demon beast’s legs before throwing them towards the ground below.

Whoosh~

As the rabbit demon beast’s legs flew through the air, Xuan Hao who was just about to reach a safe distance away from the battle, could not help cursing at the demonic cultivator upon realizing that the rabbit legs were heading directly towards him!

Swish!

Not only that, but the rabbit demon beast was still very intent on keeping its legs, as it rushed in the direction that its legs were flying. After all, making a new pair of legs would require far more qi compared to just reconnecting the pair that had been ripped off by the demonic cultivator…

”Hehe, think I will just let you get your legs for free!?” The demonic cultivator wanted to take advantage of this fact, so he sneakily moved behind the demon rabbit. Prepared to launch a deadly attack the moment it tried to reconnect its legs!

”…”

Seeing the two rushing towards him, Xuan Hao had no idea what to say…

Whoosh~!

In the end, all he could do at this point was use the Drifting Cloud Steps to run away before the two got any closer to him. After all, there was no way he would be able to hide if those two ended up fighting next to him. Not to mention the fact that they would likely end up finding him even before they started fighting again…

Roar?

”Huh?”

Seeing someone suddenly appear on the ground beneath them, both the demonic cultivator and the rabbit demon beast were left speechless as they stared dumbly in the direction that Xuan Hao had escaped in for a short moment. Not understanding how someone had been able to hide so close by without any of them noticing anything.

ROOOOOOOOOAR!

Suddenly feeling the aura of the Spiritual Herb that it had been taking care of for thousands of years in preparation to use it to reach the Soul Ascension Realm, the rabbit demon beast’s eyes went bloodshot, as it grabbed its legs before rushing in the direction that Xuan Hao had escaped in-

Whoosh!

Ignoring the demonic cultivator who had still not reacted to the sudden appearance of Xuan Hao…
