Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”You got lost? Hm… Indeed, quite understandable. Especially considering how large the Burning Mountain Range is and just how many different places it connects to. Want to follow us back out?”

Having heard that Chu Yang was lost, Chen Yang directly asked if he wanted to follow them back out of the Burning Mountain Range.

”Wha- You can’t just trust a complete stranger like that! What if he has any bad intentions!?”

Unlike Chen Yang, his companion Gui Hu was not at all happy when he heard the suggestion. Immediately having stepped forward to protest it.

How big was the difference between someone close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm and someone who had just broken through and reached the First Stage of the Core Formation Realm?

Rolling his eyes upon hearing what Gui Hu said, Chen Yang could not help feeling that his companion was a little too cautious about someone who had only reached the First Stage of the Core Formation Realm.

”And what is he going to do? He is only at the First Stage of the Core Formation Realm, both of us are already close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm! Do you perhaps think you would lose?”

Even if Chu Yang launched a sneak attack on them, Cheng Yang was confident that he would easily be able to deal with the other party if that happened. After all, it was not like he was going to let his guard down…

”This… I’m not going to lose…”

Not knowing what to sat upon hearing what Chen Yang said, Gui Hu also scanned over Chu Yang and realized that the other party was indeed someone who had just reached the First Stage of the Core Formation Realm.

Him thinking that the other party attacking them, two people close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm, was indeed a little too much… After all, no matter how he looked at it, it would be a death sentence for Chu Yang to attack both of them. Even a sneak attack wouldn’t be able to make up for the difference in their cultivation realm.

”…”

Not saying anything as he watched how Chen Yang convinced Gui Hu to let him follow them, Chu Yang just rolled his eyes at the unique duo’s conversation. Not too bothered about the fact that they had called him weak.

Trying to convince them otherwise was not a good idea anyway, as it might make the two more cautious. Maybe even to the point that they might end up leaving him to find his way out of the Burning Mountain Range on his own!

No matter how good the reputation of the Explorer Union was when it came to things like this, Chu Yang highly doubted they would help him out if they felt it was dangerous for them…

”Let’s get going, we should get out of here before any of the Nascent Soul Realm demon beasts discovers us!”

Having finished their conversation, Chen Yang said this. Following which the small group of three people began leaving the small pine forest filled with Qi Condensation Realm wolf demon beasts. All of which were too afraid of them to attack. Allowing the group, a peaceful start to their journey out of the Burning Mountain Range.

…

Having made his way back to the Flying Sword Sect without seeing a single sign of the creature that had made it through the ancient teleportation formation, Xuan Hao felt a bit surprised when he suddenly felt the aura of an unfamiliar Nascent Soul Realm Expert inside the sect

”Looks like someone new appeared… Perhaps someone form the Spring Flower Sect?”

Feeling curious about the Nascent Soul Realm Expert that had suddenly appeared, Xuan Hao used his divine sense to investigate without anyone noticing.

Whoosh~

Soon enough, Xuan Hao saw the familiar figure of Elder Song standing in front of an elegant woman angrily staring at him with a beautifully decorated fan covering half her face as she looked like she was about to attack Elder Song at any moment.

”Elder Meng… I don’t think this is quite appropriate, the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect will be merging in the future-”

”You want us to transfer almost all our red copper over for the construction of the new main sect?! You know very well how precious that spiritual metal is to the Spring Flower Sect. Not to mention, we only have a single red copper mine! If we send all of it-”

”Now now, Elder Meng, I’m not asking for all of it, I’m just asking for 98 percent of it… There should be more than enough left for you disciples to practice until you get some more mined out!”

”You-! Damnable shameless old man-”

Apparently Elder Song was in the process of getting some precious spiritual metals for the construction of the new main sect…

Retracting his divine sense, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he realized what was happening. This Elder Meng should be someone from the Spring Flower Sect, yet Elder Song looked like he was ripping her off for some reason-

”Master! You’re back!”

Looking in the direction of his pavilion where the voice of his youngest disciple, Bai Ning, had come from, Xuan Hao could not help smiling as he watched the young boy run towards him.

Internally feeling quite happy that he had managed to get a few ancient blacksmithing blueprints for him during his visit to the Half Spirit Race hidden away inside the Shattered Star Peaks. Not to mention the three scrolls that would increase one’s dao comprehension that he had gotten his hands on…

Thinking about, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit sad over the fact that he had not managed to get something suitable for Chu Yang during his short trip… At the very least he would still have some time to find something good for him before he got back from exploring the world outside-

Wait… How will he find his way back?

Suddenly remembering that his dear second disciple was bad with directions and often tended to get lost even inside the sect, Xuan Hao realized that it might not have been a good idea to allow Chu Yang to leave the sect alone.

Well, it should be fine…

Thinking this as Bai Ning made his way over towards him, Xuan Hao tried to reassure himself that Chu Yang would be fine. Even if he was bad with directions, he would always be able to ask someone for directions!

If the worst happened and he really could not find his way back, he would always be able to contact him through the communication talisman he had on him. In the end, there was not too much to worry about…

Watching his master lost in thought all of a sudden, Bai Ning showed a slightly worried expression on his face.

”Master, will you be leaving again soon…?”

Asking the question that had appeared in his head the moment he saw his master suddenly deep in thought, Bai Ning could not help remembering the fact that his master seemed to have been busy with a lot of different things outside the sect.

In the end, this had resulted in him not having a lot of time to interact with his master. Especially so given the fact that he had left for an alchemy competition with his senior sister just a short time after they had returned to the sect…

Seeing his masters face, Bai Ning suddenly thought that his master was about to leave for something outside the sect once again.

”Hm? No, I don’t intend to go anywhere for the time being.”

”Really…?”

”Yes!”

Seeing the worried expression on Bai Ning’s face, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he realized that he had indeed not spent a lot of time together with his newest disciple.

Let alone spending time with him, he had pretty much only taught him two times since he had taken him in!

Even if Bai Ning spent most of his time on blacksmithing, Xuan Hao clearly felt that this young disciple of his wanted to spend some more time together with him. Even if that meant he would not be able to practice his blacksmithing for some time.

”Ah! I remember, I have a gift for you! Something I think you would be quite interested in…”

Wanting to cheer up Bai Ning a bit more, Xuan Hao took out the ancient blacksmithing blueprints he had gotten from the Half Spirit Race and handed them over to him. In total, there was three different blueprints.

Xuan Hao didn’t really understand too much of what was written in them and couldn’t fully determine what the three blueprints were for. Only managing to understand that one of the three blueprints was of an attack-based artifact of some sort.

”What is it!?

Feeling curious about what gift his master suddenly took out, Bai Ning curiously took the blacksmithing blueprints before looking over them. Soon enough, he became completely engrossed in reading the three ancient blacksmithing blueprints.

His expression changing between one of amazement and one of fear as he read through the three ancient blacksmithing blueprints.
