”Your highness, how should we deal with the Domain Lord from the Flying Sword Sect and the disappearance of the investigator…?”

Inside the room, the shadowy person with a voice sounding neither like a man or a woman asked the crown prince after seeing that he didn’t want to deal with the old man.

”Hm… For now, just send over two shadows to find out what really happened to the investigator, as for the Domain Lord from the Flying Sword Sect… If I’m not wrong, father will be setting up a sect alliance to weaken the influence of those damnable churches.

Given that he is from a sect, he will likely have his Flying Sword Sect join the sect alliance! At that time, I should be able to get chance to see him personally…” Smiling slightly as he said this, the crown prince motioned towards the shadowy person in front of him, who nodded in response before slowly merging together with the surrounding shadows and disappearing from the room to carry out the orders of the crown prince.

Whoosh~

”Hah…”

Watching as the shadowy person disappeared from the room. Leaving him completely alone, the crown prince could not help but let out a sigh of exhaustion as he sat down.

Slowly taking out a communication talisman before beginning to contact someone.

…

Different from the undercurrent of the Imperial Capital of the Sky Empire, the Flying Sword Sect had been going through several different changes over the past few months.

The most important being the fact that Elder Song had large success in spreading the elders out across the territory of the Flying Sword Sect in an attempt to increase the sects influence and control over the region.

On the other hand, the lectures by Xuan Hao and the other Core Elders, had also been a major success with both the inner and outer disciples. Many of them had even managed to breakthrough during the past few months and reach a brand-new realm.

Overall, the reputation of Xuan Hao, had seen the greatest change, as he went from a relatively unknown core elder that not many of the disciples had seen before, to an elder that had personally taught them and helped them improve.

Though, he was still nowhere near the level of adoration that the disciples held for Elder Song…

No, after personally experiencing how the disciples viewed Elder Song, Xuan Hao felt that he would probably never be able to reach that level of adoration unless he began dedicating all his time to helping the disciples of the Flying Sword Sect…

Well, being regarded as a kind and helpful elder is more than enough…

Thinking this to himself as he knew that he would never be able to do what Elder Song did on daily basis, Xuan Hao slowly made his way back from his last lecture before the new elders would take over and teach the disciples.

[Sect Quest: From today and until the date set up by the Sect Master of the Flying Sword Sect is reached, you must teach the inner and outer sect disciples for at least one hour every week. (complete)]

Just as he was about to take another step forward, the message of the sect quest’s completion arrived.

I wonder what the reward will be… According to what it said, the reward will vary depending on how much the disciples I taught managed to learn…

Given that I heard about quite a few breaking through and improving their cultivation realm after listening to my lecture, it should at the very least not be too bad…

With this in mind, Xuan Hao curiously looked down towards the reward part below the sect quest’s description.

[During the Sect Quest, a total of 142 disciples broke through a minor realm in the Qi Condensation Realm, 24 broke through a minor realm in the Foundation Establishment Realm and a total of 7 broke through from the Qi Condensation Realm to the Foundation Establishment Realm after listening to your lecture]

[Reward, choose one: Seven Petal Sky Flower or Heaven Splitting Sword Art]

”…”

Looking at the reward, Xuan Hao didn’t know whether to be happy or start crying.

The reward was extremely good and just what he needs, the Heaven Splitting Sword Art, clearly being a sword art that would help improve his strength and add a much-needed new combat technique, while the Seven Petal Sky Flower was one of the Mystic Grade natural treasures needed for the Qi Gathering Formation…

All in all, things would have been great… But he could only choose one of the two…

Why had the system given him such a choice all of a sudden instead of just giving him one of the two without letting him see the other?

Xuan Hao had no clue and almost felt like the system wanted to torture him by having to give up one of the two things he needed.

No matter what he ended up choosing at this point, he would still end up being left with a feeling of emptiness at having let go of the chance to get one of the two.

The Heaven Splitting Sword Art being a combat technique involving swords, though its rank was not directly written down, Xuan Hao had a feeling that it should be a powerful sword art from its name alone.

The Seven Petal Sky Flower on the other hand, was a spiritual flower that was at least at the Mystic Grade and was a wind related natural treasure and would have him require only one more mystic grade natural treasure before needing to look for a Transcendent grade one to use as the formation core.

Other than that, the Seven Petal Sky Flower, could also be above the mystic grade…

All in all, he had no clue what rank the Heaven Splitting Sword Art was and at the same time had no idea what rank the Seven Petal Sky Flower was at either. All he knew was that the Seven Petal Sky Flower Would at least have reached the Mystic Grade…
