Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Come in.”

Before Lu Wen could even reach out his hand to knock on the door, a deep voice sounded out from behind the door.

”You can just leave; I will be fine on my own from here on.”

Seeing Lu Wen who had frozen for a short moment after hearing the voice, Xuan Hao smiled kindly at him as he opened the door and entered the room. Leaving behind Lu Wen, who still had no idea how his master knew they had already arrived.

”Hah…”

Letting out a sigh as he watched the door slowly close in front of him after Xuan Hao entered, Lu Wen no longer thought about it before he turned around and made his way back towards his own room.

As Elder Xuan had said, he should just leave and let the elders do whatever they were going to do, there was no need for a disciple like himself to hang around for any longer.

…

”Elder Xuan, what is the reason for this surprise visit? Not that it’s unwelcome in any way, I just did not expect for you of all people to suddenly show up without any prior notice.”

”No worries, I just came here because I heard that Elder Song had been spotted going over here and I had something to talk to him about…”

Walking over to greet him the moment he entered the room, Xuan Hao greeted Wang Hu before turning to glance over in the direction of Elder Song sitting a little further inside the room.

Given that he had already decided to not give one of the purification pills to Wang Hu, Xuan Hao did not mention the fact that he had wanted to give something to him as well.

The fact that Elder Song was here as well, was quite convenient for him, as it at least gave him a reason to show up now that he no longer planned to give him a purification pill…

”Hm? Why are you looking for me, Elder Xuan? Do you perhaps need my help with something? Perhaps there was a delay in delivering the monthly batch of spirit stones to your pavilion?”

Clearly not having any idea why Xuan Hao would be looking for him, Elder Song tilted his head to the side as he asked in a curious voice. The only real reason he could think of being him needing his help or there being a delay in regard to delivery of different essential materials for cultivation, like spirit stones.

”Haha, not anything like that! Actually, I found something that might be helpful for increasing your cultivation realm during my last trip outside and wanted to talk to you about it, there might even be a chance that you could breakthrough and reach the Nascent Soul Realm!”

”What!? Really?! What is it?!”

Elder Song was not the one to suddenly scream loudly upon hearing what he said. Instead, it was Wang Hu, who had rushed over and began shaking him with an excited look on his face.

For some reason, Wang Hu seemed way more excited than Elder Song when it came to Elder Song breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm…

”Y-yes, calm down for a moment first Elder Wang!”

Shaking off the excited Wang Hu, Xuan Hao quickly reminded him to calm down as the robust looking man let go and blushed a bit in embarrassment at his behaviour unbefitting of someone his age or status.

Stop! I don’t want to see a robust looking middle-aged man blush like that!

”So, Elder Xuan, are you really sure that the thing you found would be able to help me breakthrough…?”

Already standing up from his chair, Elder Song’s eyes shone with both hope and excitement while looking towards Xuan Hao.

Breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm would not only increase his strength but would also increase his lifespan from 300 years to 2000 years!

Given that he was already at the end of his 300-year lifespan as a Core Formation Expert, there was nothing Elder Song wanted more than to breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm!

It had to be known that the reason why most people began cultivating in the first place, was with the dream of one day becoming immortal and never aging or becoming stronger.

Elder Song was no different and also wanted to live a longer life.

300 years was a long time, but when the time truly came, Elder Song felt unwilling to let it just end like that. Now Xuan Hao had a way to help him breakthrough, it was easy to imagine how grateful Elder Song felt at the moment.

Not everyone had such an opportunity like Elder Song and when someone reached the end of their lifespan, they would grow more and more desperate for a way to breakthrough and be able to live longer.

This was also the biggest reason why someone might end up joining a church or falling to the demonic path and become a demonic cultivator.

Both the churches and the demonic path offered a way to quickly increase one’s strength… In turn, this had resulted in most members of both paths being more towards the older generation…

”Yes, I’m certain that it will be able to help you!”

Answering Elder Song with a confident look on his face, Xuan Hao watched as Elder Song looked like he was about to jump up and down like an excited child.

Breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm!

There was nothing Elder Song hoped for more than that and after breaking through, he would most likely replace Zu Fei as the Vice Sect Master of the Flying Sword Sect.

This way, the Flying Sword Sect would also become more stable in the future…

”Well… Elder Xuan, I guess I won’t hold you two here for any longer. Seeing as Old Song here is would most likely want to get started as soon as possible… And Elder Song, I think you should be able to get some more assistance without my help if you succeed in reaching the Nascent Soul Realm!”

Watching Elder Song, Wang Hu grinned happily at the scene of the elderly man acting like a child before saying this.

He hoped that Elder Song would be successful with Xuan Hao’s help and reach the Nascent Soul Realm.
