The dragon's harem

Chapter 1006: The First Pricolici

The dragon flapped his wings, blasting the steam and fire away as he roared into the heavens, ”I was right! Youʼre an evil that must be eliminated from this world!”

The dragonʼs wounds healed in an instant as massive steel plates covered his whole body. Everyone in the city gasped as this was the first time in their lives that they saw such a thing. Some have heard of it, but seeing it firsthand made some of them not able to stand.

The bronze dragon glared at Arad, wearing a full set of draconic plate armor over his body, holding a massive halberd in his claw. The halberdʼs head alone was the size of a house, let alone the street-long shaft.

Dragons can wear armor and use weapons as well, all intelligent monsters do it. But to them it was far too shameful, to cover their scales with mundane metal was akin to admitting defeat. Clearly saying that they are fully aware their scales, their claws, and their magic arenʼt enough to defeat whatever being stands before them.

To the brass dragon, pride is the last thing he would care about now. The man standing before him is a monster that even he canʼt comprehend. ”Demon, devil, horror born from the deepest crevices of darkness in this world. What links you to Akasha, where is that vile death leech of the bleakest fate?”

Arad slowly leaned forward, taking a stance as he pulled two short swords from his pocket. His wrists got slashed on their own and blood dripped down, covering the two blades. The muscles on Aradʼs legs bulged up as the ground beneath him exploded into a massive pillar of dust. Before the dragon could even notice it, Arad was right beside his face.

The dragon dodged the two slashes at the last moment, one of them barely grazing his helmet. ^Heʼs fast! But not that skilled!^ Lightning engulfed the dragonʼs body and arced at Arad, charring him.

With a single flap of his wings, the dragon backed away and glared at Arad with a serious stare. ^He missed even with that speed...something is off...why did they need to teleport him? Yeah, he mustʼve just gotten this power. ^ Nothing gets past a dragonʼs brain, it only took seeing one move to deduct that Arad still canʼt fully control his power.

Aradʼs charred body fell toward the water, and the moment he was about to hit the water, he spun around and kicked the surface of the sea hard enough to fly into the air, where he expanded his wings.

Arad now had six massive bat wings that emerged from his back. Two were linked to his shoulder blades and used for quick maneuvers, two linked to his middle back which were the strongest that helped him achieve high speeds, and the last two linked right above his hips were quite delicate, used for small and precise movements.

Arad looked back at his wings, he must get used to them. If he wanted to fly at his top speed, he needed to tuck all of his wings and only use the middle ones. If he wanted to dodge and wave around using the upper ones is best, and if he wanted to hover in place like heʼs doing now the lower ones are the best.

The dragon immediately swung his halberd at Arad, aiming to swat him down from the air. No one had ever seen such a massive hunk of steel moving so fast, if it wasnʼt for the magic holding the halberd together, it wouldʼve exploded from the acceleration.

Arad lifted his hand and caught the massive Halberd without moving an inch. The dragon gasped and even Arad looked a bit surprised. His magic output had far surpassed what he had as a human and he was able to perform the protective barrier that Kayden taught him.

Checking his new magic outputs, Arad figured that his newfound self had more than he expected. A Pricolici can output magic through his claws, which he has 50 of, his hands are ten, feet ten, and each pair of wings has ten little claws as they are like extended massive hands.

All of his teeth could be used to output magic, and Arad now has 62 spread across two rows of teeth inside his mouth. The outer row resembles those of a wolf and has 42 teeth, and the inner one resembles those of vampire bats, having only 20. 62 in total.

But that wasnʼt the end of it, his massive wings acted like magnifiers for magic, anything that he cast gets reflected and amplified by them, especially spells he cast using the claws on his wings.

Arad also had two tails behind him, one so short that it couldnʼt be differentiated from a humanʼs tailbone, but the other one was two meters long and covered in thick black fur. That tail ended up in a large stinger that contained a special venom. The stinger can act like an arcane focus so Arad basically has a magic staff on his butt.

Aradʼs venom was made of a mixture of several powerful venoms. A paralyzing venom that attacks the nerves, a venom that prevents blood from clotting, and a venom that arouses the target, causing their heart rate to shoot up so they bleed to death, and the last one is an anesthetic that dulls the pain.

The venom is secreted through Aradʼs stinger, his saliva, blood, tears, and sweat. He can consciously lace all of his bodily fluids with venom if he wants to. And not just that, he could also control the dosage of each active agent. With enough practice, he could for example only use the paralyzing venom.

The most scary part about Aradʼs venom is that his sweat evaporates rapidly and carries it, which means heʼs a walking deadly gas vent. His claws donʼt have venom, but his palms can sweat venom. The best way to arm his claws is to lick them before battle, which gets us to his tongue.

Aradʼs tongue had become over half a meter long {Two feet} and had turned into a deadly weapon. Like big cats, the upper part of his tongue is filled with sharp tiny blades that are used to clean the flesh off the bones to get the best of his meals, but the tongue is also hollow on the inside and can act like a straw or a needle. With it, he can either inject others with venom directly or suck their blood like a mosquito.

While his tongue looks like a normal tongue when not in use, his eyes arenʼt the same and will never be the same again. Instead of a single black dot pupil, Aradʼs pupil had taken the shape of a + sign with several sensors inside that allowed his extreme vision to function.

His eyes were blood red and covered with a transparent membrane hard enough to stop bullets. He could use his eyes to cast magic, but that would require him to pull the protective membrane back.

Aradʼs ears were quite different now, as instead of just two, he had four. The normal pair on his head, and two on his sides just beneath the rib cage which took the form of gill-like cuts. With those four ears, Arad could hear far better than any bat and echolocation is second nature to him. Even where he floats, he could hear some people in the city talking.

Lastly, his nose looked like a normal human nose, but the inside extended far deeper into the skull and even down to the throat, giving more space to the sensory organs which in turn gave Arad a horrifying sense of smell. He could even tell that some parts of the ocean surface beneath him had different salt levels just from the smell.

But this wasnʼt the limit of Aradʼs senses, all the hair on his body acted like a catʼs whiskers, sensing every little movement in the air.

Itʼs taking Arad a few moments to fully adjust to his new senses and speed, but heʼs getting close. He released the halberd and the dragon flew back, glaring at him. ”What kind of

monster are you? What did you do to Akasha.”

”I ate her.” Arad replied, lifting his hands.

”Ate her? Do you know what are you saying?” The dragon couldnʼt believe his ears. He knew that Yog brought Akasha with her, no way such a being could be defeated in a direct fight, and that is what made him decide to bury her beneath the sea.

But Arad couldnʼt care less about what the dragon thinks. He instantly flapped his middle

wings and flew at him, swinging one of the swords. The dragon tried to block, but Arad tucked his middle wings and flapped the upper ones, dodging the massive halberd as if he were a fly and landing a solid slash on the dragonʼs elbow. Since the blade was too small it went in the gave between the armor plates and delivered a direct cut to the veins passing in the part of the

arm.

Arad could see other creatureʼs blood flow, to him the dragon looked like a massive flesh

dragon with exposed veins that he could target with ease. And since his sword was covered with venomous blood, the dragon instantly felt a sharp drop in his senses and his wings felt

weaker.

The larger the creature the higher dosage that Arad would need to use, since this was his first time using his venom he had missed the dosage and didnʼt give enough.

^I see...I have a limit on concentration so I canʼt drop a dragon while using all of the active

agents at once.^ To get a stronger venom Arad could limit himself to one agent and make it as concentrated as possible.
