The spacious and bright living room.

Qian Lele sat on the sofa, bored, taking small bites of her apple.

She occasionally looked up towards the study, her eyes full of curiosity and a hint of concern.

What are my brother and Teacher Jiang talking about in there?

Why have they been talking for so long without coming out?

She knew very well that her brother used a kidnapping-style joke to call Teacher Jiang over, not to actually ransom anyone, but clearly to discuss serious matters.

However, these matters were obviously not suitable to be discussed in front of a student like her.

At that moment, there was a ”click” sound as the study room door opened.

Qian Lele immediately stood up.

Footsteps approached.

Two figures walked into the living room, one after the other.

Her brother had a refreshed look on his face, with a faint smile at the corners of his mouth.

And Teacher Jiang, who followed behind him, seemed a bit out of sorts.

Her gaze was uncertain, her steps unsteady.

Like a student who had been harshly scolded by the principal for making a mistake.

”Teacher Jiang, brother.” Qian Lele greeted them with concern, her eyes mainly on her teacher.

Jiang Yourong quickly adjusted her expression and flashed a gentle smile, ”Hey, Lele.”

Tang Song paused his steps and said with a smile, ”Lele, do you remember when we discussed this morning during our workout about the problems that ’obesity’ could bring and the disadvantages of not exercising regularly?”

Upon hearing the word ”obesity,” Jiang Yourong’s eye twitched, instinctively wanting to rebut that she’s just ”slightly chubby!”

But when the words reached her mouth, she forcibly held them back.

One must bow under a low eave.

The most important thing is, he’s got a hold of her ”little secret”...

Qian Lele, utterly oblivious to her teacher’s internal turmoil, seriously nodded, ”I remember! Brother said that obesity increases the body’s burden and affects cardiovascular health. Not exercising regularly lowers basal metabolism and degenerates bodily functions.”

Tang Song smiled approvingly, ”Very good, you remember well. So do you think Teacher Jiang’s physical condition also urgently needs some improvement?”

Qian Lele hesitated, sneaking a glance at Teacher Jiang, unsure whether she should speak the truth.

She had the most contact with Teacher Jiang and naturally knew the female professor’s routine.

Although diligent in teaching and research, her daily life was utterly lazy—

If she could ride an electric scooter, she’d never walk; if she could sit, she’d never stand; if she could lie down, she’d never sit. Moreover, she particularly loved sweets, becoming drowsy after consuming carbs.

This was obviously subhealth.

”No need to have any concerns, go ahead.” Tang Song encouraged, ”Teacher Jiang isn’t the type who ignores advice, right?”

As Tang Song spoke, he affectionately patted Jiang Yourong’s back.

Jiang Yourong’s bosom bounced slightly, her face turned rosy, but she still bravely admitted, ”...Right.”

With her teacher’s oral consent, Lele mustered the courage and cautiously said, ”Teacher Jiang, I think perhaps as age goes up, the body’s metabolism may be relatively low sometimes, making the energy levels not quite full. So...appropriate exercise and a healthy diet would definitely be more beneficial to your health.”

Hearing the words ”as age goes up,” Jiang Yourong’s eye twitched again.

Come on, Lele! As your teacher, I’ve always treated you like a close confidant!

How could you stab your teacher so accurately?!

Tang Song resisted the urge to laugh, nodding in satisfaction, ”Very well said. Now, Teacher Jiang is about to leave her post and embark on a career in a company. Isn’t a good health very important?”

”Yes!”

”Do you want your Teacher Jiang to become healthier and more energetic?”

”I do!” Qian Lele answered without hesitation; it was sincere.

”Alright, I’ll give you a new task.” Tang Song handed her an A4 sheet, ”During the week after you return from your hometown, your task is to serve as ’self-discipline supervisor’ for Teacher Jiang. This is her one-week special training plan.”

Qian Lele was taken aback, taking the plan sheet.

It was normal at first.

But when her gaze fell on the punishments at the end of the plan, her clear eyes widened instantly.

Supervise to write reflections, stand as punishment, slap on the back of the hand?

Qian Lele looked up abruptly, her cheeks flushed red, waving her hands repeatedly, ”Brother! This, this won’t do! I don’t think I’m suitable...”

Teacher Jiang is her mentor! Her elder!

How could she punish her teacher like disciplining a primary school student?!

It’s too embarrassing!

She absolutely couldn’t bring herself to do it!

”Lele, this is also to help Teacher Jiang.” Tang Song patiently explained, ”These punishments are just formalities, the aim is to create a sense of restraint. Just like in school, if students fail to finish their homework, shouldn’t the teacher give them a small punishment?”

Qian Lele was full of indecision, helplessly looking at Jiang Yourong.

Jiang Yourong subconsciously looked at Tang Song.

The three’s gazes intersected in the air, forming a strange closed loop.

Ultimately, under the pressure of Tang Song’s gaze, Jiang Yourong stepped forward, trying to maintain her dignity as a teacher, and said softly:

”Lele, you are aware of my self-discipline, indeed a serious supervisor like you is needed. Teacher believes in you; you supervising me will motivate me more to complete this assessment. Will you? Consider it as helping Teacher complete a very important work task.”

Hearing her teacher speak personally and elevate it to the level of a ”work task.”

Qian Lele’s ethical burden was finally alleviated considerably.
