Chapter 486: Uchiha Madara: Do You Also Want to Dance?

Kenichi did not mind helping Black Zetsu.

After all, Black Zetsu was currently dealing with a potential Otsutsuki Clan member. Furthermore, Kenichi believed he had not revealed any suspicious intentions.

As long as Black Zetsu viewed him as someone unaware of Black Zetsu’s true identity, Kenichi would not be suspected.

After all, Black Zetsu’s identity and purpose could be considered the greatest secrets in the Shinobi World.

As long as this secret was not exposed, Black Zetsu naturally would not have any reason to attack him suddenly.

”How long will it take?”

Black Zetsu could not help asking.

He had thought he could simply come over, take what he needed, and leave, then quickly hand it over to Madara.

Madara was already getting impatient.

While Black Zetsu had gone out to look for Kenichi and obtain the items, Madara had suddenly thought of visiting Konoha.

Black Zetsu could only hope that he would not cause any major incident.

”Hmm, at the fastest, at least two or three days.”

Kenichi pondered for a moment before giving a timeframe.

Black Zetsu thought about it and could only nod.

He had no other choice.

Kenichi’s weapons were unique in the Shinobi World.

No one else possessed them.

It was undeniably a world of technological monopoly, which left Black Zetsu feeling somewhat helpless.

Kenichi was not deceiving Black Zetsu, because he was indeed telling the truth.

Although Kenichi would not give Black Zetsu an atomic bomb, a thermobaric bomb was acceptable.

Moreover, a thermobaric bomb infused with multiple chakra natures would have considerable power.

Although it still paled in comparison to an atomic bomb, it would be sufficient.

Furthermore, thermobaric bombs had stronger tactical killing effects against underground bases, buildings, and similar targets.

So Kenichi still needed to collect materials in order to create thermobaric bombs for Black Zetsu.

”Where’s your main body?”

Kenichi looked around.

He did not see Madara.

Kenichi had originally thought Madara would follow Black Zetsu and come cause him trouble.

Unexpectedly, Madara had not come.

”Him? He went out to reminisce.”

Black Zetsu’s expression was a little strange.

—

”Konoha is still the same.”

Atop Konoha’s Hokage Rock, Madara stood on the head of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, overlooking the Hidden Leaf Village below.

A complicated feeling rose in his heart.

Looking at the Ninja Village that he and Hashirama had established together, Madara found it difficult to describe his current mood.

But it was undoubtedly complex.

After all, this was the village he had founded together with Hashirama.

Although he later felt that Hashirama’s ideals were too naive and thus left Konoha, he had still paid some attention to Konoha.

The day Hashirama died, Madara had remained silent for a very long time.

Later, he had even gone to Hashirama’s grave and poured him a cup of sake, though he had never mentioned it to anyone.

And now, Hashirama was dead.

He was dead too.

During his time in the Pure Land, Madara had felt a certain loneliness.

He did not seek anyone out.

Instead, he secluded himself in one place, quietly waiting for his plan to succeed.

The only issue was that he had occasionally felt as if someone was watching him.

But no matter how hard he tried, he could not find that person, so he simply dismissed it as an illusion.

”Who are you?!”

A voice filled with shock and anger rang out.

Madara turned around and saw a ninja behind him.

The ninja had striking silver-white hair, making him extremely recognizable.

Madara remembered this person.

He was the friend of Obito, the pawn Madara had once chosen.

Kakashi.

At the time, Madara had paid attention to Kakashi solely because Kakashi was always by Obito’s side, and Madara intended to use him as a tool to stimulate Obito into awakening his Sharingan.

However, he observed that Obito had a unique affection for that girl.

At that moment, Madara realized that compared to Kakashi, that girl would be a more suitable candidate.

Only by learning love and understanding love could the Uchiha Clan become stronger after losing what they loved.

So Madara abandoned Kakashi and orchestrated Rin Nohara’s death.

The result was exactly as he had expected.

Obito, who witnessed everything, went completely mad and became his pawn.

Unfortunately, this pawn encountered Kenichi, who was unusually strong in the current world, and was thoroughly beaten, forcing Madara himself to clean up the mess.

However, according to Black Zetsu’s intelligence, Kakashi now seemed to be his current partner, a friend of Kenichi.

This was quite interesting.

Both of Kakashi’s friends had some connection to him.

”Me?”

Madara showed a faint smile.

He looked at Kakashi with an arrogant gaze that could not be concealed, making Kakashi even more cautious.

This man was wearing clothes with the Uchiha Clan crest.

What was his connection to the Uchiha Clan?

But the strange cracks on the man’s face made Kakashi realize that this person was a resurrected dead man, someone brought back through Edo Tensei.

And the most famous user of the forbidden jutsu Edo Tensei in the current Shinobi World was his former good friend, Kenichi.

Thinking of this, Kakashi opened his Mangekyo Sharingan without hesitation.

Accompanied by powerful eye power, Kakashi suddenly flew backward.

His Mangekyo was interrupted before he could even use it.

”Mangekyo? You’re not from my Uchiha Clan, so why do you have two Mangekyo?”

Immediately afterward, Kakashi felt a suffocating pressure around his neck.

He was lifted up by the man in front of him, who held his neck with one hand.

Madara looked at Kakashi with cold, questioning eyes.

Kakashi’s full name was Kakashi Hatake.

That meant he was from the Hatake Clan, a minor clan with no particularly outstanding ninja, at least in Madara’s opinion.

Yet he had somehow mastered the Mangekyo?

This left Madara somewhat perplexed.

”I... cough, cough...”

Kakashi tried to struggle, but all his small tricks were effortlessly countered by the man in front of him.

Kakashi hardened his heart and directly set off the ANBU emergency communication flare.

But the man only watched silently, making no attempt to stop him.

After Kakashi finished setting off the flare, Madara threw him away.

Kakashi bounced and rolled several times across the ground before crashing into a tree and stopping.

He spat out a mouthful of blood, looking at Madara with intense caution in his heart.

This man was too strong.

Strong to the point of despair.

Soon, the ANBU arrived.

They quickly assessed the situation, but it was utterly useless.

In Madara’s hands, these people could not last a single move before all of them were lying on the ground.

The ANBU who had come as reinforcements could only set off a distress flare.

With that flare, Tsunade, whose injuries had mostly healed, rushed over.

Immediately afterward, she saw Madara.

Almost the moment she saw Madara, Tsunade immediately opened her Strength of a Hundred Seal, entering her strongest combat state.

”Uchiha Madara? What are you doing here?!”

Tsunade looked at Madara with shock and anger.

He was strong.

Incredibly strong.

Strong to the point of despair.

Tsunade had faced Madara before.

Precisely because of that, Tsunade knew just how abnormal this man, Madara, truly was.

”Hashirama’s granddaughter, you disappoint me greatly. You haven’t inherited your grandfather’s power at all.”

Madara looked at Tsunade and shook his head.

She only knew how to throw punches.

Didn’t she know that taijutsu ninja were trash?

Although Madara’s own strength was also supported by taijutsu, it relied more on ninjutsu and combat experience.

Taijutsu was merely a tool Madara used to clear out minor pawns.

Yes.

Like Kakashi and the other ANBU ninja he had just sent flying.

They only deserved Madara’s taijutsu.

”What do you want to do?!”

Tsunade was somewhat annoyed.

But remembering the Complete Body Susanoo she had seen that day, a chill ran down her spine.

This guy was terrifying.

Terrifying to the point of despair.

Now, Konoha only had her as a high-level combatant.

How could she deal with Madara?

”Nothing. I just came to see how you useless people have brought Konoha to this state.”

Madara spoke casually.

This only enraged Tsunade even further.

She launched a devastating kick without hesitation.

Ever since Kenichi caused her to lose an arm, Tsunade had been diligently practicing one-handed ninjutsu and learning how to fight more effectively with her legs.

The results were quite good now.

”Do you also want to dance?”

Madara instantly dodged Tsunade’s attack, then leaped again to evade her pursuit.

In midair, he flipped and launched a Great Fire Annihilation at Tsunade.

Then he landed on a tree canopy and stood upright, looking down at Tsunade from above.

Tsunade gritted her teeth and clenched her fists.

She knew she was no match for Madara.

In his eyes, she was probably just a little girl throwing wild punches.

But this was Konoha.

The village her grandfather had founded.

She was now the Hokage of this village.

For the sake of the villagers in Konoha, Tsunade had to fight.

Tsunade charged again.

But then she realized that Madara had already left.

He seemed to have no intention of fighting her.

This left Tsunade standing there silently.

She watched his distant figure, powerlessly deactivated her Strength of a Hundred Seal, and let out a long sigh.

Perhaps it was time for Konoha to make a choice.

”Lady Tsunade! Urgent intelligence!”

An ANBU rushed over and handed a piece of intelligence to Tsunade.

Tsunade took it and glanced at it.

Then a wave of powerlessness washed over her.

Her body swayed, and she tiredly sat on the ground.

Tsunade remained silent for a long time.

Then she took a deep breath.

”Call a high-level meeting. The clan heads of the village and all the elders must come.”

Tsunade waved her hand wearily.

The ANBU exchanged glances, then silently left.

Tsunade lay back on the grass, looking up at the sky, biting her lip, her eyes filled with unwillingness.

A moment later, she raised a hand and covered her eyes.

The wind blew a piece of paper across the grass.

On it, the words ”Iwagakure of the Land of Earth and Sunagakure of the Land of Wind announce their integration into the Land of Flame and will become part of the Land of Flame’s territory” were glaringly conspicuous.

And this paper eventually landed in the hands of the various elders and clan heads.

For a moment, the entire meeting room was dead silent.

Not a sound could be heard.

Everyone looked at the paper in their hands, then looked at Tsunade in front of them.

Tsunade sat there expressionlessly, unmoving.

”This... if it’s true, then that means that among the Five Great Nations, only our Land of Fire remains.”

Homura Mitokado looked around, then spoke tentatively.

”Do the people of Kumogakure know?”

Koharu Utatane was more concerned about this question.

After all, Kumogakure was not far from Konoha.

”I don’t know, but unless Kumogakure’s ninja are blind, they should know this news.”

Tsunade spoke wearily.

This was big news.

Although Kumogakure had lost the Land of Lightning, they still had their own internal intelligence network.

Moreover, this time, the Land of Earth and the Land of Wind had no intention of hiding it.

They had directly announced their integration into the Land of Flame.

Such news could not be hidden.

So it was likely that Kumogakure’s ninja were currently discussing how to handle this matter.

It was already troublesome enough that Kenichi, that madman, had occupied the Land of Water and the Land of Lightning.

Now, he had directly surrounded the Land of Fire, instantly making it isolated.

”Hokage-sama...”

An ANBU walked in.

He handed over another piece of intelligence.

Tsunade opened it and glanced at it, then closed her eyes.

”You all see for yourselves.”

Tsunade sighed, then rubbed her temples.

She was very tired now.

Shikaku took a look.

It stated that the other smaller countries had successively announced their integration into the Land of Flame, becoming part of its territory.

Now, even the previously supposedly neutral Land of Iron had become part of the Land of Flame’s territory.

In the entire Shinobi World, only the Land of Fire truly remained.

”My opinion is to surrender to the Land of Flame.”

Shikaku spoke.

He handed the intelligence in his hand to the others, his tone calm.

Everyone looked sideways at Shikaku.

Although many people had this thought, few dared to voice it.

But soon, Homura and Koharu immediately agreed.

They realized that speaking up now, if Konoha integrated into the Land of Flame in the future, might be seen as a meritorious act.

For a moment, with the exception of a few people who remained silent, most of the clan heads expressed that they should surrender.

Ultimately, a village and a clan were different.

If the village was gone, as long as the clan remained, it was not a big deal.

But if the clan was gone, what difference did it make whether the village still existed or not?

”Now, those who support Konoha surrendering to the Land of Flame, raise your hands.”

Tsunade did not open her eyes.

She merely spoke in a cold tone.

Everyone exchanged glances.

Then they all raised their hands.
