I Sell Mobile Phones Like a Swindler, and Customers Beg Me Not to Go Out of Business

143: Chapter 143 Entering the European MarketAs for the parents of those children, they did indeed feel that the presence of such content on the platform was a bit inappropriate.

But as for wanting to report Douyin, ”Let me finish watching the next video first.”

Those parents didn’t watch live streams much, but many of them would scroll through short videos in their spare time.

They certainly wouldn’t be happy about reporting a platform they used every day just to have it permanently banned.

Later, Xue Haixin wanted to report it directly to the regulatory authorities, but the regulators didn’t think it was a big deal and didn’t investigate Douyin at all.

With this, all of Xue Haixin’s plans fell through, and his counterattack yielded no results.

Xue Haixin was once again exasperated.

Even Wang Sicong pressed Xue Haixin: ”Back then, you told me to just wait and see. What exactly did you want me to wait and see? Did you even come up with a way to target that kid surnamed Bai?”

Wang Sicong couldn’t swallow this frustration; after all, nothing had happened to Douyin so far!

Xue Haixin felt very embarrassed, stammered for a long time, and couldn’t think of any other methods to target Bai Jingqing.

”The most urgent priority is to think about how to make our platform bigger and better!” In the end, Xue Haixin could only change the subject.

But as for how to get Panda Live back to its peak, the two discussed it for a long time, but neither had any good ideas.

With no other choice, Xue Haixin had to seek help from Samsung again.

”Panda Live is now at a life-or-death moment. Not only has our reputation plummeted among the user base, but domestic celebrities are afraid of getting dragged into the mud, so they are unwilling to join Panda Live. Plus, with people reporting Panda Live every few days, the Star Show section of Panda Live is basically on the verge of extinction. If you don’t provide some help, I’m afraid Panda Live will be finished just like that!”

Xue Haixin described the situation as very dire, and Samsung was somewhat disappointed. They had invested one billion USD, only to get this result.

Choi Jong-eun sighed: ”I will help you one last time! If it still doesn’t work, I’ll consider this 1 billion USD as money thrown into the water. As for how to operate the platform from now on, you’ll have to figure it out yourself.”

Under the instruction of Samsung, a global super-popular girl group from South Korea, Tara, officially announced that they would join Panda Live.

This was a girl group with worldwide fame, having countless fans across the globe, and of course, there were many teenagers in China who flocked to them.

Hearing that Tara had joined Panda Live, they completely ignored their parents’ objections, downloaded Panda Live one after another, and looked forward to Tara’s debut on Panda Live.

On the day of the debut, Panda Live crazily attracted traffic once again, causing the servers to crash frequently; even the servers they had prepared beforehand were not enough.

Wang Sicong was extremely delighted and purchased a large number of servers again to maintain the stability of Panda Live.

By now, the decline that had appeared in the Panda Live platform due to various reports and regulations had been swept away, and Panda Live had regained its position as the number one live streaming platform in all of China!

Furthermore, having learned a lesson, Panda Live’s management increased their auditing efforts on the platform after this incident, directly banning anything that violated national laws and regulations without any leniency.

Since they had done this, the regulatory authorities could not continue to target them deliberately, so before long, the Panda Live platform was revitalized.

Shortly after, Wang Sicong announced that the IG e-sports club would join Panda Live, and Panda Live’s popularity rose again.

At this time, IG was unrivaled in popularity, having built a formidable reputation on the professional circuit and gained countless fans. Their arrival pushed Panda Live’s traffic to an even higher level.

With this, Panda Live’s position became unshakable, completely becoming the leader among live streaming platforms and firmly occupying the top spot.

On the surface, it seemed that all of Bai Jingqing’s countermeasures against Panda Live had failed, and his various layouts and operations had not caused any substantial damage to Panda Live.

And Bai Jingqing, who had been slow to act, seemed to have exhausted his options.

Many of Bai Jingqing’s partners, including those from Maoya Live and Dou-sha Live, repeatedly asked Bai Jingqing what he planned to do next.

But Bai Jingqing did not give any substantial reply; he just smiled faintly and said: ”Let the bullets fly a little longer.”

His mind was not on this right now. Panda Live would inevitably collapse in the end. Although he had made many efforts to speed up this process, it seemed they hadn’t worked.

However, even if he didn’t do anything, he knew that the booming Panda Live would inevitably collapse one day, and he was now looking forward to that day.

He had more important things to do now.

After gaining a foothold in the Africa market, the next place for Huayao to expand worldwide was Europe.

Europe was different from the barren and backward Africa; in this place, most people still used high-end phones from Apple and Samsung.

To gain a foothold here and build a reputation, the strategy of using cost-effectiveness might not work very well.

However, for Bai Jingqing, taking down the European market was not a difficult task.

Huayao hadn’t released a new phone for a long time, so he took the opportunity to release Huayao’s next phone, the Huawei P10!

This phone used the Kirin 960 processor and adopted a straight-bar metal body design with a metal-ceramic effect and engraved texture polishing.

The light effect reflected from the 2.5D screen to the sides and then to the back allowed people to clearly feel that the light was in a state of continuous flow on the Huawei P10.

The polishing process also made the surface of the Huawei P10 very smooth.

At the same time, the Huawei P10 boldly adopted many new color schemes, such as Diamond Gold, Obsidian Black, Diamond Blue, Rose Gold, Ceramic White, and Greenery.

Among them, the Greenery color scheme was particularly bold, making the phone look very fresh overall.

The excellent and beautiful color schemes maximized the phone’s artistic appeal, and the Leica photography style captured the hearts of many Europeans, so Huawei actually sold surprisingly well in Europe.

In less than a month, Huayao Phone had already captured 20% of the European market share, which counted as gaining a foothold in the European market.

Next, Huayao would develop further, trading blows back and forth with Apple and Samsung.

During this period, the situation in the domestic live streaming industry gradually stabilized, and everything entered a normal track, while Panda Live remained the top player in the industry.

However, the profitability of these live streaming platforms remained to be verified.

Meanwhile, a domestic music variety show, ”the singer,” began streaming on the Panda Live platform. Because it was a live stream, the entire process had no audio post-processing.

On this show, the performance of the singers from China was very unsatisfactory, and they were completely outclassed by many foreign singers.

Many Chinese fans were unconvinced and began calling for help in the Chinese music scene, hoping to invite some professional singers to defend the dignity of the Chinese music circle!
