Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Bravery

After a while had passed,

Lady Scarlet currently had one of her beautiful legs resting on the table as she spread her legs wide.

She was casually wiping her overflowing pussy with some tissue while gazing at the middle-aged man who lay back in his chair, completely satisfied.

Then she smiled. ”I hope you’ll consider the Viscount’s proposal carefully, Captain~”

At her words, Captain Henry’s relaxed face twitched slightly.

He grunted and lazily waved her off. ”I’ll think about it.”

Seeing this half-hearted answer, Lady Scarlet felt a flash of irritation.

After all, she had been so submissive and done everything he wanted.

Still, she kept a sweet smile on the outside, calmly adjusted her robe, and walked out of the room, swaying her hips seductively.

Then her eyes glinted slightly as she caught the faint trace of hesitation in his voice just now.

’Hehe~ Any man can be cracked if you give it enough time.’

She felt that by tonight, at least, she should have his answer.

And after today, her days of being the slut for this stupid pirate crew would finally be over.

Even though she had enjoyed it a little after all, these pirates were possessors of strong classes and possessed powerful vitality.

But she really couldn’t bear living like an animal any longer.

Sure, this kind of free, uninhibited fucking from time to time felt refreshing in its own wild way, but there was always a limit to everything.

Just as the door closed behind Lady Scarlet, Jake slowly climbed back up from his hiding spot and looked at Henry with a deadpan expression.

After all, he didn’t really enjoy spectating while others had fun.... he much preferred having fun himself.

”Well then... if the captain doesn’t need anything else from me, I’ll be leaving.”

Surprisingly, Henry didn’t stop him.

He simply watched in silence as Jake stormed out, footsteps heavy with barely concealed anger.

Because Henry had already accomplished exactly what he wanted.

”...With this, he should have a seed of doubt planted.”

Henry murmured to himself as he leaned back into his chair, relaxing fully, and let himself sink into his thoughts.

Jake, still irritated by what he’d just witnessed and by the unsatisfied ache of his own desire stepped out onto the deck.

He ook a deep breath, inhaling the sea breeze.

As his mind slowly cleared, he couldn’t help replaying what had happened.

”Shit... I forgot to ask him how to awaken my class...”

Going back inside right now would be awkward as hell.

But then his face grew solemn.

”And why the hell did he do that?”

Jake knew Henry had deliberately let him overhear their discussion.

It felt calculated... like the captain wanted something from him.

Jake let out a long, frustrated sigh.

He had nothing to offer.

Nothing worth taking, anyway.

’Ah... at least I know that prostitute is bad news...”

He still wasn’t entirely sure what ”Aura” even meant in this world, but one thing was clear:

...nothing from his body except maybe his sperm should be getting sucked out like that.

Hell, even his little brother had gone solemn as the thought of Lady Scarlet’s seductive figure no longer stirred him at all.

With another heavy sigh, he turned to face the endless sea, wondering what kind of life awaited him now in this strange, unfamiliar world.

But suddenly—

SPLASH!

A bucketful of cold, filthy water slammed into his back.

Jake turn around as fury flashing in his eyes.

There stood the scruffy pirate, empty bucket dangling from one hand, face cold and expressionless.

”I told you to clean the storage area, didn’t I?” the man said flatly. ”Why are you still lazing around?”

Jake’s breathing turned ragged, chest heaving as seawater dripped from his soaked hair and clothes.

He could feel the cold and taste the salt.

But above everything else, he felt the humiliation burning deep in his gut.

The scruffy pirate just stood there, the bucket now hanging limp at his side, looking almost bored as he repeated himself.

”Huh? A noble son couldn’t understand normal words?”

Jake’s fists slowly clenched.

For a moment, he said nothing.

The deck creaked beneath his boots, and the sea wind howled faintly through the rigging above. Around them, a few other pirates glanced over, curious but not interfering.

Jake wiped the dirty water from his face.

”...I hear you” he said slowly.

The pirate snorted. ”Then move your—”

Before he could finish—

BAM!

Jake stepped forward and drove a fist straight into the man’s stomach.

The pirate’s eyes bulged as air exploded from his lungs as he doubled over.

And Jake didn’t stop.

He grabbed the man by the collar and slammed his forehead forward.

CRACK!

The pirate staggered backward, as blood instantly spilling from his nose.

The nearby pirates froze.

Jake stood there, shoulders tense, fists shaking.

”You think I’m your dog?” Jake growled.

The scruffy pirate wiped the blood from his face, eyes turning vicious.

”You little—”

He lunged forward with a knife.

But Jake twisted aside just in time.

The blade sliced through the air where his ribs had been a moment before.

Jake grabbed the man’s wrist and twisted.

SNAP!

The pirate screamed as the knife clattered across the deck.

Jake kicked him in the knee.

CRACK!

The man collapsed instantly.

Jake stood over him, breathing hard while the surrounding pirates watched in stunned silence.

For a moment, no one moved.

Then someone muttered,

”...Damn.”

Another pirate whistled low.

Jake wiped his knuckles and spat on the deck beside the fallen man.

”Anyone else got a problem with me?”

But only silence came as no one stepped forward.

Jake turned slowly toward the open sea, the wind whipping his wet clothes as the waves crashed against the hull below.

For the first time since arriving in this strange world...

He felt powerful.

Like maybe—

Just maybe—

He could survive here and achieve something in this world.

...

”...Oi.”

Jake blinked.

”...Oi!!”

Something smacked the back of his head.

SMACK.

Pain exploded across his skull.

Jake stumbled forward.

”Wake the hell up!”

He looked up and froze.

The same scruffy pirate was standing in front of him and completely unharmed.

There was no broken nose.

No snapped wrist or shattered knee.

Just the same annoyed expression... and the same bucket in his hand.

The pirate scowled, clearly unimpressed by this noble kid’s daydreaming.

”I asked why you’re still standing here like an idiot!”

Jake slowly looked around at the deck and the pirates.

Everything exactly the same.

There is no fight, no cheering and no dramatic victory.

Just... him standing there like a fool.

The pirate lifted the bucket again, threateningly.

”I told you to clean the storage area,” he snapped. ”You deaf or something?”

Jake stood there silently.

After a long pause passed, then he rubbed his face and sighed.

”...Right.”

He picked up a mop from the corner of the deck and started walking toward the storage hatch.

Behind him, the pirate grumbled,

”Bloody useless kid...”

Jake descended the stairs quietly, his expression completely deadpan.

Inside his head, though—

He muttered to himself,

’...Next time, I’m definitely punching him first.’
