Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1020: Worst And Best Case

A wave of freezing water rushed past the hammer as the pillar hid behind it.

ʼAnd now what?ʼ

The winged and blue amalgamation of limbs saw its attack failing and changed its approach. It flew closer and launched a storm of searing icicles.

The pillar burrowed into the ground, hiding behind the huge hammerhead.

ʼWhat now?ʼ

More icicles fired at the burrowed pillar, but it avoided all of them by swinging from side to side.

ʼAnd now?ʼ

The Demon tried several more attacks, but none of them proved to be effective. Once more, it decided to get closer.

BOOOM!

The pillar shot out of the ground.
ʼNot so fast, Demon! I activate, ʼRocket Powered Hammer Fistʼ!ʼ

The Demon tried to evade to the side, but the approaching hammer was already flying towards the Demonʼs new position.

BANG!

The hammer slammed through the Demon, taking it along on a magical journey into the unknown.

The pillar slammed into the ground, recovered its Energy, and flew into the distance.

ʼDonʼt change the channel! Weʼll be right back after these messages.ʼ

After chasing after its hammer and retrieving it, the pillar returned to the Law Well for Gravity Water.

Another Demon rushed forward, releasing a terrifying rainstorm of searing water.

BOOOOOOM!

A second later, the Demon had turned into a stain on the broken ground.

ʼThe rain has been canceled due to game!ʼ

The pillar continued scurrying forward, throwing a couple of Beast Cores into the Law Well for Gravity Water.

ʼAlright, alright! Iʼll stop! Sorry, okay?ʼ

The pillar stepped back as a Peak Crusher Demon growled at it.

Finally, the pillar plopped down and stopped moving.

ʼAnd done! Two to go!ʼ

The pillar scurried away from the Law Well for Gravity Water before continuing towards the east.

After traveling for a while, it found a space, warping with colorful light. The air fluctuated with Light Energy, turning parts of it solid.

ʼStep aside, lightweights! Super heavyweight coming through!ʼ

A shiny and long Demon charged out of the chromatic display, its body moving with grace and skill. It zigzagged towards the pillar, not losing any speed in the process. One of its tails spun forward like a whip, the Light Energy on it multiplying its weight.

BOOOOOOOOM!

ʼWhen you chose light, you chose my difficulty, not yours!ʼ

The pillar harvested the Beast Core before throwing the corpse into the distance.

Moments later, a second Demon charged forward, releasing lances of manifested light.

BANG! BANG!

The lances hit the hammer, pushing it, and the pillar behind it, back.

ʼBreaking news! Light countered by parasol!ʼ

ʼParasol, what a dumb word. They should just call them sunbrellas.ʼ

More waves of light reached the hammer. This time, they didnʼt push the hammer away. Instead, they increased its weight.

ʼWhy, though?ʼ

CRK!

The hammer broke through the ground, falling through it like it was just air.

The pillar just watched as the hammer sank into the earth.

ʼOh... oh!ʼ

Lances of light flew towards the pillar as it jumped into the hammerʼs hole, its spindly legs briefly catching onto the edges of the hole.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The lances shot through the ground, some clouds of blood spewing out of the holes.

A moment later, the pillar climbed out of the hole again, hammer in hand and holes in body.

ʼAlright, that was a good one.ʼ

More attacks followed, but the pillar managed to survive all of them.

Inevitably, the Demon came closer, and the pillar shot forward.

BOOOOM!

The hammer smashed through the Demon, shipping its corpse to the stars.

Yet, this time, something was different.

A small tendril of flesh connected the pillarʼs bones to the hammer.

The tendril became taut, and the bony pillar was pulled with it. As the pillar flew with the hammer, it slowly regained its Energy.

ʼHaha! Donʼt have to chase my hammer anymore!ʼ

The hammer landed in the distance, and after some time, the pillar returned to the Law Well for Gravity Light.

Just when it was about to reach the no-fight zone, a Demon covered in lightning charged towards it from behind. The Demon wanted to join a different Law Well, but it wasnʼt strong enough to kill any other Late Crusher Demons. When it saw the weak pillar, it decided that eating a small morsel was better than eating nothing.

BOOOOOOM!

ʼShut the fuck up! This is light territory! All my boys live here!ʼ

The pillar grabbed the corpse and threw it towards the Law Well.

Moments later, it entered the no-fight zone, and after a couple of civil discussions with some Late Crusher Demons and one Peak Crusher Demon, it sat down on a solid piece of air.

Years passed.

ʼSeven done! One to go!ʼ

The pillar left the Law Well and made its way to the last Law Well it needed.

Gravity Darkness.

ʼKinda crazy how fast I comprehend Laws. Four Level Four Laws in just 200 years. Just with these Laws, I can already create several brutal Complex Laws. The speed at which I grow is crazy! Although the Level Five Laws will take much longer. But come on! Theyʼre Level Five Laws!ʼ

BOOOOOOM!

A shadowy figure, covered in blades, turned into a stain.

ʼLike, thereʼs actually a chance I could get access to Level Five Laws! As long as I get all of the Level Five Laws, I could technically fulfill all the requirements to become an Immortal! I mean, I would probably die as soon as I try to advance, but hey, technically, I could become an Immortal. Thatʼs worth something, right?ʼ

ʼAlthough, maybe not. The Overseer is probably insanely strong. In fact, if theyʼve somehow managed to become Immortal, I might just be fucked. If I know all of the Laws, my Battle-Strength would be similar to theirs. My Imposing Law would be the only thing that would give me an edge. Demons canʼt condense Imposing Laws.ʼ

BOOOOOOM!

The hammer pulled the pillar into the horizon as it flew through a misty and shadowy figure.

ʼLike, my Imposing Law gives me some advantages, but the gap between an Ascendant and an Immortal is unreal. Itʼs the craziest gap between all of the Realms. I donʼt think an Imposing Law would be enough.ʼ

ʼYeah, well, if theyʼre Immortal, weʼre fucked anyway.ʼ

The pillar moved towards the shadowy crater as it threw some Beast Cores into it.

ʼReaching the Immortal Realm probably causes a huge commotion. I donʼt think the Overseer would miss something like that. As soon as I break through, they will notice.ʼ

The pillar scurried past several growling Late Crusher Demons.

ʼAlthough, even if they kill me, it wouldnʼt be for nothing. As far as I know, an Overseer only gets one warning before the world kills them. Killing an advancing Immortal would be worth such a warning. As an Overseer, itʼs your job to make powerful Seekers. Even if youʼre a Demon, killing an advancing Immortal in a Primary World is as big of a no-no as attacking the walls.ʼ

The pillar plopped down after it had received its mandatory warning from the upper management of the Law Well.

ʼIf Iʼm lucky, the Overseer has already received a warning. Theyʼve probably already attacked the walls before. If they kill me, they will also die, assuming theyʼve got their warning already.ʼ

ʼBest case: The Overseer is a Peak Ascendant, and I can kill them.ʼ

ʼAverage case: Theyʼre an Immortal and got their warning already. I will die. They will die.ʼ

ʼWorst case: Theyʼre an Immortal and havenʼt been warned yet. They will be warned, and they will tighten their grip on Ayuvar. Nobody will ever get another chance forever. Well, thatʼs not entirely correct.ʼ

ʼAt some point, the God of this Cosmos will return, and one of the first things he will do is to clean house.ʼ

ʼItʼs just... we donʼt know when that will happen.ʼ

ʼCould be tomorrow.ʼ

ʼCould be in a billion years.ʼ

ʼAnyway, enough thinking about stuff thatʼs too far in the future. Iʼve got one more Level Four Law to comprehend!ʼ
