Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1791: Immune To Poisons

Gongsun Jiuxue was shocked when she felt the changes around them. She looked at Zhang Fei with a question mark above her head, but he didn’t want to explain to her. She inwardly sighed and asked him. ”Why do you want me to be your friend? You guessed that I came here to capture you, yet you’re giving me such an offer.”

”Let’s just say I can judge a person’s character, and I’ve never been wrong in my judgment.” Gongsun Jiuxue looked at Zhang Fei while pondering his offer in her heart. ”Your aunt and her friends are indeed powerful demon gods, but I’m not afraid of them in the slightest. If I want to get rid of them, I can do it at any time, and they won’t be able to do anything to stop me.”

”You’re too cocky.” Despite her words, Zhang Fei did not feel that Gongsun Jiuxue looked down on him. After all, Gongsun Zhilan and her friends were powerful demon gods, so it was natural that she didn’t believe in him. ”All the poisons my aunt uses are too deadly; even demon gods cannot survive their effects.”

”Is that so?”

”Yes.”

”Then, why didn’t Gongsun Zhilan attack the other demon gods with her poison?” Zhang Fei curiously asked.

”They knew her abilities, so they were always wary of her, and they had already prepared countermeasures against her. Even though she is a demon god, some of them are stronger than her, especially Mo Qingwen.”

Zhang Fei rubbed his chin in thought. ”In other words, your aunt couldn’t find a loophole to poison them.”

”You can say it like that.” Gongsun Jiuxue nodded. ”If my aunt finds the opportunity, she won’t hesitate to poison them, and they won’t survive.”

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding. ”What’s your strongest poison?”

”Huh?” Gongsun Jiuxue was baffled. ”What do you want to do? Do you want me to poison you?”

”Yes,” Zhang Fei put on a serious look. ”You can use your strongest poison on me.”

”You—”

”Stop!” Zhang Fei waved his hand in front of Gongsun Jiuxue’s face. ”You don’t need to say anything. Use your strongest poison on me, and you’ll get the answer to why I’m not afraid of your aunt.”

”I refuse!” Gongsun Jiuxue refused with a shake of her head. ”My strongest poison isn’t strong enough to kill a demon god, but it’s enough to kill you, so I won’t use it on you.”

”Haish! Why don’t you believe me?”

”I don’t want you—Mhmm!” Gongsun Jiuxue’s eyes widened in shock because Zhang Fei suddenly kissed her, and she didn’t have time to react.

Gongsun Jiuxue came back to her senses as soon as she realized that her lips were poisonous, and she immediately reacted to push him back, but Zhang Fei swiftly hugged her.

Gongsun Jiuxue was completely shocked when Zhang Fei restricted her movements, leaving her powerless to move. His cultivation was clearly below hers, but he was able to restrict her movements, and she couldn’t free herself.

Gongsun Jiuxue panicked when Zhang Fei pried her lips open, inserting his tongue into her mouth. Her body couldn’t move, and she couldn’t resist his advance. She didn’t dare close her eyes and looked at him worriedly, but her worries disappeared when she saw that he was not affected by her poison.

A while later, Zhang Fei stopped kissing Gongsun Jiuxue and released her from his restrictions. He licked his lips and spoke. ”See? Your poison is useless to me.”

”How could this happen?” Gongsun Jiuxue asked in shock, unbothered by their kiss just now. ”The poisons on my lips and mouth are not my strongest poisons, but they are strong enough to kill a cultivator at your level”

Zhang Fei shrugged, not explaining. ”If you still don’t believe me, you should use your strongest poison on me.”

”Are you sure you want to try my strongest poison?”

”Why not?”

Gongsun Jiuxue took a deep breath and spoke in a serious manner. ”My strongest poison is the Hellish Eroding Poison. If someone is hit by my poison, their body and bones will be eroded to nothing.”

”Oh? The name of your poison sounds domineering!” Zhang Fei looked right and left, pulling a mindless demon to his side. ”Try using your poison on this demon.”

Gongsun Jiuxue nodded and used her poison on the mindless demon directly. ”Wait for a few seconds to see the effect.”

”Alright.” Zhang Fei focused his gaze on the mindless demon.

A few seconds later, the mindless demon released an eerie, painful roar. Soon, the mindless demon’s body began to experience erosion, which surprised Zhang Fei.

”Do you still want to try my poison?”

”Hehe,” Zhang Fei chuckled. ”Your poison affects this mindless demon, but it won’t affect me.”

After the mindless demon vanished, Gongsun Jiuxue pressed her palm against Zhang Fei’s chest. ”Are you sure you want to do this? You’ll die if—”

”Don’t worry, I won’t die.”

”Alright.” Gongsun Jiuxue ended up using her poison on Zhang Fei, giving her deep worries. ”Do you feel anything?”

Zhang Fei shook his head. ”I can feel your poison starting to enter my body, but I don’t feel any pain or anything.”

”Really?” Gongsun Jiuxue was in disbelief.

”Does my expression look like I’m in pain?”

”No.” Gongsun Jiuxue shook her head. ”This is the first time I have met someone who can withstand the effects of my Hellish Eroding Poison.”

Zhang Fei smiled. ”Do you believe me now?”

”I do.” Gongsun Jiuxue stopped her poison and pulled her hand back. ”How can you be immune to my poison?”

”Let’s just say that is one of my body’s advantages.”

Naturally, Gongsun Jiuxue didn’t believe Zhang Fei, but she realized that she couldn’t force him to tell her the truth. ”You really are a strange demon! You are the only lust demon with nine tails, and you are the only living creature that can withstand my poison.”

”Hehe,” Zhang Fei stretched out his right hand, caressing Gongsun Jiuxue’s cheek. ”So, what do you think of my offer? Do you want to be my friend or my enemy?”

”Don’t you already know the answer?”

”I want to hear it from you directly.”

Gongsun Jiuxue held Zhang Fei’s hand and pressed it onto her face. ”I want to be your friend.”

”From today on, you are my friend, and I will help you with several things in the future.” Zhang Fei pulled Gongsun Jiuxue close and kissed her again. ”Do you have a lover?”

”No,” Gongsun Jiuxue replied with a shake of her head. ”My body is poisonous, so I have never been interested in having a relationship with any man, and you are the first man to kiss me.”

Zhang Fei smiled faintly. ”Then, are you willing to be my woman?”

”I do,” Gongsun Jiuxue answered without the slightest hesitation, as Zhang Fei was the only living being who could withstand her strongest poison. ”However, I must tell you that my aunt’s poisons are several times stronger and more deadly than mine, so you have to be careful if you meet her.”

”No matter how strong or how deadly your aunt’s poisons are, I will withstand them all.” Zhang Fei retracted his void element. ”For now, ignore your friends and help me to look for the Infernal Blood Core.”

”Alright.” After that, Zhang Fei and Gongsun Jiuxue worked together to kill the mindless demons, especially the infernal demons.

Dong Xuanyin and the three women, who were resting together, exchanged surprised glances when they saw Zhang Fei and Gongsun Jiuxue.

”Haha,” Qi Qingxiu laughed. ”That female demon has fallen to our husband.”

Ye Mingran agreed. ”Our husband is indeed different when it comes to women, and he has many tricks up his sleeve.”

”He has over a hundred wives, but he hasn’t stopped looking for new ones.” Nalan Shizhe spoke in a helpless tone.

Dong Xuanyin looked at Zhang Fei and Gongsun Jiuxue. ”If I think about it again, the increase in the number of his wives after he ascended to the Paradise Realm wasn’t that much. Among all his wives, ninety percent of them came from the Three Mortal Realms.”

”That’s true.” Qi Qingxiu and Ye Mingran agreed with Dong Xuanyin. ”Let’s continue.”

Mo Cangyue, Mo Luoxie, and Yuan Xuan, who were fighting a little away from Zhang Fei’s location, were also surprised to see him and Gongsun Jiuxue.

”Tch! That perverted guy succeeded in seducing Gongsun Jiuxue!” Yuan Xuan and Mo Luoxie exchanged glances after hearing the jealousy in Mo Cangyue’s tone. ”Humph! Ignore him and hunt the mindless demons!”

”It seems your sister’s feelings are starting to change, Luoxie.”

Mo Luoxie nodded in agreement. ”I think that’s good, and our parents no longer need to worry about her relationship.”

”That’s true.”

Chang Qifeng and Zuo Zhenlin were also perplexed by the change in the situation; they did not expect that Gongsun Jiuxue had managed to get close to Zhang Fei, but they did not know about their previous conversation.

Gui Ting, on the other hand, seemed to dislike the closeness of Zhang Fei and Gongsun Jiuxue. ”Hey! Are you two going to let her take him to her side? If he chooses to side with Gongsun Zhilan, our three demon races will probably experience big problems in the future, so we have to think of something to snatch him from her.”

Chang Qifeng and Zuo Zhenlin also understood the situation, but they had no solution to separate Zhang Fei from Gongsun Jiuxue. In the end, they chose to report the change in the situation to their two fathers, awaiting their further instructions.

Gui Ting also reported this to Gui Ye, but he asked her not to do anything and wait for reinforcements. ”Tch! That bitch must be using her body to seduce him.”
