And if she did not ask, probably Di Fuyi would not tell her as well, so that she would continue to pretend to be his messengers’ master.

Apparently, his subordinates have gotten his permission to bow and greet her, or even address her as a ’master’!

That made her feel uncomfortable.

She remained silent for a while and asked, ”Are they reliable?”

Di Fuyi nodded in agreement.

”Then is Long Siye is really so unreliable from your point of view?”

Di Fuyi put down his brush and looked at her, ”So you think I’ve mistreated him?”

Gu Xijiu twitched her mouth and did not want to speak.

Di Fuyi sighed, ”Xijiu, I wish I can trust him. But you know, this is a crucial matter and it involves both of our lives… I know Long Siye is a good person, but he… he hates me. I’m just afraid he would do something harmful to us if he knows I’m in trouble now. Is that why you want to see?”

”He is not that kind of person! Even if he hates you, he doesn’t hate me, he wouldn’t hurt me.” Gu Xijiu tried to argue on behalf of Long Siye.

Di Fuyi remained silent for a second, ”He’s not this kind of person? Are you sure? Do you believe everything he said without a shadow of a doubt?”

Gu Xijiu was speechless.

Di Fuyi looked at her as he narrowed his eyes, ”Xijiu, are you trying to avoid something? So, you just chose to believe in him in hopes that he could save you? Perhaps, you didn’t trust him but you’re trying to hypnotize yourself…”

Gu Xijiu was shocked and turned around, ”I have no idea what you’re talking about!”

Di Fuyi sighed, ”You know, but you didn’t want to admit it.”

Gu Xijiu was speechless. His words were as though the Buddhist allegorical words. She was not a monk and she did not have the talent to interpret what he said.

However, did she really trust… Long Siye?

Did she?

She recalled the Chinese Valentine’s Day when she spent the night with Long Siye, she doubted what he said. However, there were many incidents happened after that and she could see that Long Siye was sincere and wanted to be with her...

And she loved him in the previous life, so she still loved him especially after they had solved their misunderstandings.

She did not want her heart to wander around and suffer from relationship matters. She did not want to be hurt anymore, so, she immediately accepted him once the misunderstanding was solved so that she would not regret anymore.
