Chapter 5 Hunting, Barbeque, and Pistols

Chapter 5 Hunting, Barbeque, and Pistols
Messy hair, scarlet eyes, huge body, and iconic long ears.

There is a rabbit next to the abandoned wooden house!
Su Ming looked at it and fell into a daze.

”Why is this rabbit bigger than a dog!”

”This tooth, this body shape, if it doesn’t look like a rabbit, I will believe it is a beast.”

”Fortunately, it stepped on a bear trap, otherwise today would be troublesome.”

One leg of the giant rabbit was clamped tightly by the trap.

Because of the pain, he kept making cooing noises.

Su Ming hesitated for a moment and took a step forward, wanting to take a closer look.

However, as soon as it got close, the giant rabbit stopped screaming.

A pair of scarlet eyes stared at Su Ming.

It opened its mouth, revealing two huge front teeth, and let out a hissing sound full of warning.

see this scene.

Su Ming made a judgment instantly.

”This rabbit is dangerous!”

”You have to find a way to kill it!”

[Wooden Spear: Wood (1/1), Hemp Rope (2/2)]

[Is it manufactured? 】

”Yes.”

Soon, Su Ming made a sharp wooden spear.

From a certain distance, hold the wooden spear tightly and stab the giant rabbit hard.

Stabbed three times in a row.

The rabbit only suffered minor superficial injuries.

At the same time, he was also irritated and became more violent, struggling constantly, trying to get close to Su Ming.

Seeing this scene, Su Ming narrowed his eyes.

”That does not work!”

”Ten wooden spears may not be able to kill it. It’s a waste of time and energy.”

”Do you want to use a legendary stone axe?”

”But the stone ax is too short. If you want to attack with it, you have to get close to the rabbit. If you get bitten, you will be in trouble.”

”In the absence of antibiotics, wound infection is inevitable.”

The main reason why Su Ming was reluctant to approach the rabbit was because he was afraid of getting hurt.

This waste soil organism must carry various germs in its body.

Once bitten by it, even if it is only a small wound, it is very likely to be infected and lead to death.

He would rather give up the rabbit than take such a risk.

Looking at the increasingly crazy rabbit.

Su Ming fell into deep thought.

”What should I do?”

After a while.

He seemed to think of something, his eyes lit up.

”I have a legendary lighter!”

”Burning it to death, although it will lose some fur, but the meat and bones can be kept, that’s enough.”

Su Ming did what he said.

Ten wooden planks were taken out of the backpack and piled up around the giant rabbit.

Throw a few more planks on top of the giant bunny.

From a long distance, use the ignited wooden board to ignite other wooden boards.

In an instant, the fire soared into the sky.

”Cuckoo”

In just a moment, the giant rabbit screamed and turned into roast meat.

At this time, Su Ming also noticed some differences.

The flame from the legendary lighter seems to be more intense.

The fire in front of him was like gasoline poured on the board, which was completely unreasonable.

A plank is just a regular plank.

The only possible cause of this phenomenon is the lighter.

”As expected of a legendary lighter!”

Su Ming sighed, put away the lighter, and dug a square ditch near the fire.

In just a moment, the fire was extinguished because there was no fuel to burn.

The choking smoke gradually dissipated.

A strong aroma of meat filled the air.

Su Ming took a deep breath.

”It’s so fragrant!”

【Obtain cooked meat*15】

[Get the bones of the red-eyed rabbit*5]

Su Ming’s eyes lit up when he heard the notification sound of the survival manual.

”There is 15 yuan of meat, three meals a day, enough for me to eat for five days.”

Su Ming put the meat and bones into his backpack and didn’t stay here too long.

After collecting supplies from the abandoned house, we set out on our way back.

Back at the shelter, it was just dark.

”Fortunately, there is a map. If there is no map, there is no way to get stuck and click back.”

Su Ming closed the wooden door.

Light a bonfire with a lighter.

First boil a bottle of clean water with an empty can.

Then take out the cooked meat again.

An osteoknife made of bone, cut into small pieces.

Sit on the bed.

While drinking clean water, while eating fragrant barbecue.

Su Ming felt very satisfied.

”It is not easy to drink clean water and eat clean meat the next day.”

Su Ming opened the communication interface while enjoying the delicious barbecue.

”Who knows if moldy bread can be eaten? I’ve been hungry for two days, and if I don’t eat, I’m going to starve to death!”

”I’ve only been hungry for two days. When I was hiding from debts, I only drank water for five consecutive days. It’s not the same as surviving.”

”Don’t eat moldy bread. There was a guy who ate moldy bread at noon. He got food poisoning and vomited to death!”

”Go to bed early, and you won’t be hungry when you fall asleep.”

”I caught three fish today, enough for two days!”

”No way, no way, no one really hasn’t eaten the next day, right?”

”Upstairs, NMSL!”

Su Ming couldn’t help laughing as he watched the conversation between several people.

By the second day.

Everyone can’t bear the hunger anymore.

Many people are complaining about not being able to find food.

”In this case, isn’t the food very valuable?”

Su Ming thought of this and opened the trading interface.

Sure enough, as expected, a piece of bread has become the most popular trading item.

Naturally, prices have gone up as well.

The reason is that sixty pieces of wood can be exchanged for a piece of bread, but now at least two hundred pieces of wood are needed.

Su Ming browsed the trading interface for a while and came to a conclusion.

”It seems that people who can’t find food still account for the majority.”

”A piece of bread is so valuable, what about a piece of roast meat?”

Su Ming searched on the trading interface.

I haven’t seen the barbecue for a long time.

On second thought, it’s normal to have no barbecue.

A rabbit is so dangerous, let alone other beasts.

For humans at this stage, hunting exotic animals is probably more difficult than climbing to the sky.

If the rabbit hadn’t happened to step on the trap, he wouldn’t have risked hunting.

”In this case, the value of barbecue should be considered top-notch.”

”I don’t know if I can find any rare items today.”

Su Ming searched on the trading interface.

After half an hour.

A message caught his attention.

”The blueprint for the expansion of the shelter is extremely cherished, only food is exchanged, and the price is private chat!”

Su Ming: ”Send me the blueprint.”

The other party: ”Okay.”

[Ordinary Shelter Expansion Blueprint]

[Description: After use, the shelter space will increase by 5㎡. 】

5㎡.

Say no more, say less.

Although I have no need to expand the shelter now, when supplies gradually increase in the future, 5 square meters of space will be too small.

Su Ming thought for a moment and asked, ”How to trade?”

The other party: ”Five pieces of bread.”

Su Ming: ”Impossible.”

Although expansion blueprints are rare, they are not worth five pieces of bread.

The other party hesitated for a moment and replied: ”Four pieces of bread, that’s the bottom line.”

Su Ming: ”I don’t have bread, but I have barbecue. Your expansion blueprint is not enough. Is there anything else that can be traded?”

The other party is silent.

After a long time.

”I still have an ordinary-grade HK45 semi-automatic pistol, but it has no bullets. I’ll add a piece of barbecue for you.”

A pistol without bullets.
Su Ming hesitated for a while, then replied, ”Deal!”
