Chapter 200 The Ranking Tournament Begins

woohoo-

Just when he was thinking about when he would be able to lift the restraint, a huge beam of light suddenly fell from the sky.

Then a severe dizziness came, and Guo Xiuwen, who had several experiences, immediately knew that it was the teleportation array that was teleporting him.

boom--

When the dizziness disappeared, Guo Xiuwen found that he was on the ground again.

[Ding, please note that the qualifying match has begun.

The qualifying schedule is divided into two stages, namely the top ten ranking and the bottom ten ranking.

The bottom ten lords each have a chance to challenge the top ten lords.

Every time the last ten lords challenge, the faction they belong to needs to provide an action point. If the challenge is successful, the action point will not change. If the challenge fails, the challenged lord can get an action point compensation.

Action points can be used to exchange for the number of challenge rankings and resurrection after failure during the game, and can also be used to exchange for various resources afterwards.

Among the top ten, the lords ranked sixth to ten also have an additional chance to challenge the top five lords.

Lords ranked [-]th to [-]th also each have an action point.

Every time a lower-ranked lord challenges a higher-ranked lord, one action point will be consumed.

The number of successful action points remains the same, the loser deducts one action point, and the rankings are exchanged.

If you fail to be challenged by the last ten lords, the ranking will be exchanged with the challenged lord, and no action points will be deducted for failure.

The top five lords start from No.5 and have two, three, four, five, and six action points respectively.

Each time you are defeated when challenged, your ranking will be swapped with that of the challenged lord, and one action point will be lost at the same time.

If the action points are exhausted, there will be an extra challenge opportunity by default, and an action point needs to be provided by the faction you belong to.

If the action points are not exhausted, you can consume one action point at a time to challenge the lords ranked ahead of you.

All lords need to conduct a positioning match before the start of the game.

The initial ranking of the positioning match is based on the ranking of the knockout round, with No.1 playing against No.11, and No.10 playing against No.20.

The winner of this battle is successfully positioned, and the losers exchange rankings.

Action points will be issued at the end of the positioning match.

As the No.1 in the knockout round, you will automatically match the No.11 matchup!
If you win, your ranking will remain the same, and if you lose, you will be No. 11!
As No.1, after you win the next game, you will automatically enter No.1 position. 】

”I really didn’t expect that you got No.1!”

A sigh came, Guo Xiuwen turned his head to look, and found that it was the Great Elder standing beside him.

There is also a green dragon beside the great elder.

Other than that, none of the other lords were here.

He looked around and found that it was not too big, surrounded by darkness, only the place where everyone was standing was illuminated, it seemed to be a small closed space.

Guo Xiuwen thought for a while, but still asked his own question.

”Where did the other lords who participated in the knockout match go?”

Hearing his question, Great Elder Tatum was stunned for a moment.

Then he spoke.

”Hey, it seems you have guessed it. Indeed, if you are killed in the knockout round, you will really die.”

Guo Xiuwen was not surprised, he had already guessed it when he entered the hunting ground.

Especially after he killed an orc lord and a cemetery lord later, and found that the dead body of the other party had not disappeared, he confirmed his guess.

But he didn’t expect at all that when the lords of the ten swamp camps participated in the knockout round, only himself and Nicholas were left in the end.

”Ten lords participated in the competition, and eight of them died.”

Guo Xiuwen couldn’t help feeling emotional.

As a result, he didn’t finish his sentence, but the Great Elder laughed instead.

”Hahaha, that’s not the case. The two of you are here only because you have advanced. In this knockout round, our swamp team has done well. Not only did it meet the original expectations, but two lords entered the top [-].

And only three lords died in the hunting ground. The other five lords did not advance, so I sent them all back to Feilongling. ”

Hearing what the Great Elder said, Guo Xiuwen breathed a sigh of relief.

If only three out of ten lords die, that’s a 30.00% mortality rate.

Although the death rate is still high, it is still much lower than the 80.00% he thought.

”Then the next positioning match, can the Great Elder introduce it to me? Why am I a little confused?”

Guo Xiuwen is not pretending, but really confused.

It’s not that he has poor comprehension ability, it’s mainly because of the series of rules introduced, he felt a headache just after reading it.

If he looked carefully, he could of course understand it after reading it, but now that the Great Elder is here, he obviously doesn’t need to bother so much.

Sure enough, after hearing his inquiry, the green dragon Nicholas, who had been silent until now, also turned his head to look at the great elder.

Obviously, rather than figuring it out by himself, he also expected the Great Elder to explain it.

”You two brats, are you so lazy?”

The elder first laughed and scolded the two of them.

Then introduce them.

”Actually, the qualifying competition is not complicated. The first one is the positioning competition. There are 1 of you, so it is natural to fix your rankings from No.20 to No.[-].

At the same time, the twenty rankings are divided into two batches, that is, the top ten and the bottom ten.

There is no need to think about the bottom ten, because the weight is the same, so as long as you are positioned in the bottom ten, it doesn’t matter whether you are No.20 or No.11.

The method of the positioning match is not to draw lots and fight for each other, because this will be very complicated, and it will be necessary to fight several times before the ranking of the bottom ten can be determined.

So we finally decided to use a simple method, that is, according to the ranking of the knockout round, let the top ten and the corresponding ranking of the top ten play a match.

If the last ten lords can win, they can enter the top ten.

Of course, even if they lose, they still have a chance to challenge, but they just need to come up with an action point.

The action points are actually the same as the kill points you got before, but the value is higher. ”

The Great Elder carefully explained to the two of them. Hearing this, the matter was not complicated.

”Great Elder, let’s talk about the top ten.”

But Guo Xiuwen directly urged the other party to mention the top ten.

After all, he is No.1 in the knockout round, and he is also confident in the fight against No.11.

So theoretically he won’t be in the bottom ten.

Then no matter how carefully the Great Elder spoke, it would have no effect on him.

”You, I thought it would be enough to get two bottom ten this time.”

The Great Elder was not angry when he heard Guo Xiuwen’s words.

There is no way, the higher the ranking of the lord, the more benefits they will get from the swamp camp. This is something that is beneficial to themselves. Of course, the elder will not be angry.

Nicholas on the side didn’t look so pretty.

Because when he was in the knockout round, he was ranked fifteenth in hunting points, that is to say, he was ranked in the bottom ten.

And with this embarrassing ranking, he actually doesn’t have much confidence in beating No.5.

So Guo Xiuwen slapped him in the face when he said that.

However, Green Dragon’s face was originally green, so Guo Xiuwen didn’t find that the other party’s emotions were wrong.

In fact, even if he found out that Green Dragon’s mood was wrong, Guo Xiuwen wouldn’t care too much.

After all, what happened to Nicholas had little to do with him.

”The top ten is actually not complicated. Although there may be little hope, let me talk about the top five first.”

After the Great Elder finished laughing, although he found that Nicholas was a little angry, he didn’t care.

After all, at this moment, Guo Xiuwen’s role is much greater than that of the other party.

”You just have to remember one thing, you must beat No.11 in the positioning match.

If you can be positioned as No.1, then you can get six action points at the beginning.

And even if you are defeated later, you will only lose one action point.

But as long as you have action points, you can choose to challenge to a high position until you sit in the No.1 position again, or you run out of action points.

Action points represent the number of challenges, that is to say, the top five lords have additional challenges.

No.6 to No.10 also have an additional number of challenges. ”

After the Great Elder finished talking about the location of the challenge, Guo Xiuwen nodded his head and understood.

”By the way, as I said before, as long as you enter the second round, you will be rewarded with a resource to upgrade the silver-ranked territory. If you enter the top ten, you will be rewarded with a blueprint for the silver-ranked barracks.”

Seeing that Guo Xiuwen understood the rules, the Great Elder took the initiative to talk about another matter.

Hearing the elder’s words, Guo Xiuwen’s eyes lit up.

He has indeed received a lot of benefits in the knockout rounds, but if he can get more benefits from the swamp camp, he will naturally want it.

”With your strength, I think there is definitely hope for the top ten, so I can give you these two rewards now.”

The Great Elder was very straightforward and handed Guo Xiuwen a storage bag directly.

”It contains the resources to upgrade the silver-ranked territory and a blueprint of the silver-ranked barracks.”

”Thank you!”

Guo Xiuwen was not pretentious, and directly reached out to take it.

Then he discovered that this storage bag is a good treasure, it should have a storage space of a full hundred grids.

”One more thing. I promised you before that as long as you can enter the top three, I will go to the Dragon King to ask for a mustard space for you. Now I will give it to you in advance.”

What Guo Xiuwen didn’t expect was that the surprise was yet to come, and the great elder wanted to open up a mustard space for him now.

”This, this is too precious, you have so much confidence in me?”

Guo Xiuwen couldn’t help trembling when he heard that the mustard space was about to be acquired.

To be honest, in fact, he himself was not 100% sure whether he could keep the top three, but at this time the Great Elder obviously had a lot of confidence in him.

”To be honest, I don’t have that much confidence either. The reason why I give you space now is actually to increase your chances of staying in the top three.”

What the great elder said surprised him a little.

”Do you know why the top five get more action points every time they rank higher? In addition to giving you enough rewards, it is to allow you to have enough challenges.”

”And I gave you the mustard space, in fact, to let you earn more action points at the beginning, so that even if you are accidentally challenged, you still have enough chances to enter the top three again.”

Guo Xiuwen was stunned by the elder’s words, he didn’t understand what the other party said.

However, it seemed that he saw his doubts, and the Great Elder explained the rules of the challenge to him carefully.

”First of all, you have to know that starting from the knockout round, every match between you is an actual battle, which means that every time you defeat your opponent, you will probably suffer a lot of losses.”

Hearing the elder’s words, Guo Xiuwen was stunned for a moment.

”You mean, every time we fight, we may fight to the last soldier?”

Guo Xiuwen looked at the great elder carefully.

”You might as well speak more clearly. I can tell you clearly that indeed, every battle can kill a lord.”

The Great Elder instantly understood Guo Xiuwen’s meaning. He was not really asking about the soldiers, but the lord who commanded the soldiers.

”Of course, if the lord of a certain side feels that he can’t beat the other party during the battle, he can also choose to surrender. This is also allowed.”

After confirming Guo Xiuwen’s problem, the Great Elder gave him another booster.

Obviously, although the battle is actual combat, it does not mean that it must be a death fight.

Guo Xiuwen didn’t say anything about this. Although he said that he could surrender, if the bottom ten challenged the top ten, because the strength gap between the two sides is relatively large, there may still be more lords who surrendered.

But if the top five challenge each other, if the strength gap between the two sides is extremely small, then it is very likely that it will really become a bloody battle.

It is important to know that in this competition, apart from fighting for territory for the aboriginal forces to which the respective camps belong, there are also many rewards for winning.

Guo Xiuwen believes that even the swamp camp can offer additional rewards for entering the knockout round, entering the top ten, and entering the top three.

Then the aboriginal forces of the other six camps will definitely provide additional rewards to their respective lords.

Not to mention that there is another problem with this kind of combat.

That is the wheel war.

For example, the lords of the cemetery camp, because there are many places to participate, so the number of lords entering the knockout round is also large.

Even if their ranking is relatively low, they can still choose to challenge a difficult bone, and then choose to fight to the death, and then choose to surrender after the soldiers die.

In this way, it will definitely be able to fight off some of the enemy’s soldiers.

In this way, opportunities can be created for the lords of the same faction who rank high.

”You probably guessed it. It is very likely that the cemetery camp will fight in rounds. After all, they have a total of seven lords who have been shortlisted from the knockout round.”

Seeing Guo Xiuwen meditating, the Great Elder directly expressed his thoughts.

”Seven, a little less than I expected!”

Guo Xiuwen heard the elder’s words, but he didn’t feel that there were a lot of people in the cemetery camp.

Judging from the 25% number of advancements, it seems that there are many lords in the cemetery camp that have entered the final ranking match.
