Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 152

Chapter 152
Now there is no shortage of experience and resources for upgrading, but at this level of strength.

With the example of the failure of the Bronze Rank gray wolf to advance, Guo Xiuwen knew it.

If you want to upgrade stronger soldiers in the future, the failure rate will definitely be high.

So be careful with future upgrades.

After all, compared with the 10% increase in physical attributes after upgrading a level, the recovery brought by the upgrade may be more effective.

As a result, he naturally had to be cautious and not rush to raise the rank of soldiers.

So after the appearance of the grieving ghost, he didn’t immediately ask the soldiers to attack.

On the contrary, after he and Aliya gave an order, they took the initiative to walk forward.

Yes, he was going to resist the attack of the grieving ghost and relieve the pressure for the soldiers.

The reason why he is so confident is naturally because of his powerful attributes.

Giant Rock (Acquire a shield value of 100+100% extra health. The shield will continue to decay within ten seconds regardless of whether it is attacked or not, and the cooling time is 1 minute.)
Passive: Gargoyle’s strength (When attacked, add a layer of 3% armor and 3% magic resistance increase, up to five layers of effect, if not attacked within 1 minute, the increase will disappear.)
Rock Solid (Damage taken from basic attacks reduces maximum health by 1.5% after equipped, up to 70% damage for each attack)

These three skill effects come from Frost Heart and Gargoyle Plate Armor respectively.

And armored boots also need to reduce damage by 12%.

In addition, the various BUFF bonuses on him should not be too much.

For example, he was upgraded to 30% defense (magic) technology before, which provided him with a 60% increase in magic defense.

Then there are scattered armor and magic resistance increases for soldiers such as Aliya.

These are Guo Xiuwen’s greatest confidence when facing resentful ghosts.

In fact, what followed did not disappoint Guo Xiuwen.

woohoo-

With the howling wind, because Guo Xiuwen walked in the forefront, the attack of the resentful ghost landed on Guo Xiuwen.

But he just felt that his body was a little cold, and his physical strength and vitality had decreased a lot, and then he had no other feelings.

Guo Xiuwen felt that the locking skills that the elves gave him just now were a bit of a waste, because it seems that under such an attack, it is not a big deal for him to resist for 10 minutes.

After confirming that his own defense is really strong, the next thing is easy to do.

Hurry up before the lock skill expires.

Guo Xiuwen took a few steps forward, just in time to meet the grieving ghost who swooped down towards him.

Roar--

He directly turned into a violent bear and activated his violent skills.

Then he waved his huge bear paw and slapped on one of the grieving ghosts.

boom--

The dark violent power and the red flame rose simultaneously.

In an instant, flames and violent power ignited on more than ten grieving ghosts.

Knowing that his body can withstand the attack of the resentful ghost, plus there are enough elves behind him and the big nurse Alia.

Guo Xiuwen hit faster and faster, and under the acceleration of the power of thunder, two huge bear paws clashed and an afterimage immediately appeared.

bang bang bang-

More than a dozen resentful ghosts were directly blown up on the spot.

Then he grabbed one of the grieving ghosts with one hand, and hugged him tightly with his burning hands.

Then there was a crisp over-the-shoulder throw.

bang——

The grieving ghost who was thrown over his shoulder directly turned into black smoke.

Guo Xiuwen wanted to go forward to attack other grieving ghosts, but when he raised his arm, he suddenly found that he could not move.

And the bursts of coldness coming from the joints let him know that it was because he had been attacked too much by the power of the undead and accumulated a strong dark power on his body.

”Fuck, is this a hidden feature?”

Guo Xiuwen was a little speechless.

I was playing hard, but I didn’t know that this would happen.

It seems that this is a hidden attribute that I don’t know, but the reason.

Guo Xiuwen speculates that it is likely to allow low-level soldiers to have a way to kill high-level soldiers.

This speculation is not groundless.

After all, judging from the current situation, although Guo Xiuwen is only at the Bronze level, it is because he has mastered two powerful professions.

Plus several pieces of top-level equipment and bonuses for various buildings and soldiers.

The actual combat power has far exceeded that of ordinary silver rank soldiers.

Guo Xiuwen can even be sure that his current strength is enough to single out silver-ranked leader-level soldiers.

With his current strength on paper, it is absolutely impossible for ordinary silver rank soldiers to be his opponents.

In fact, it was not too bad. After the battle, even the grieving ghost who had been immune to physical attacks would not be able to last long under his attack.

But the only difference is that according to his strength on paper, he could clearly slaughter this group of grieving ghosts directly.

But in fact, now that he had killed less than [-] resentful ghosts, he found that he was almost unable to move because of too much power of death.

In this way, of course, he couldn’t help but wonder if this was a special hidden way for low-ranking soldiers to defeat high-ranking soldiers.

After all, he already knew that when millions or even more lords grew up.

Not counting the barracks owned by the lord himself, there are only [-] copies of silver-level blueprints.

That being the case, there should be fewer blueprints for the gold rank barracks.

The rarity of high-level barracks naturally represents the strength of high-level soldiers.

Such a powerful soldier is completely crushed against low-level soldiers.

Although there are powerful heroes and lords here, soldiers are obviously an indispensable class.

Although it is not clear why some unspeakable existences summon so many lives to become lords to fight each other.

But Guo Xiuwen knew one thing clearly.

That is, these people did not come to watch the slaughter.

So obviously, if there are enough low-level soldiers, they can defeat high-level soldiers.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen felt that his cold heart began to freeze.

As a last resort, he could only arrange for soldiers to take the initiative to attack.

boom boom-

Whoosh whoosh—

The flame cleared the way and knocked away many grudges who were besieging Guo Xiuwen, and then the elves drew their bows and fired arrows.

Then the gray wolf and the tiger followed the druid and the hellhound to charge.

As active forces rushed into the battlefield, Guo Xiuwen, who had avoided being continuously attacked, took two steps back and chose to temporarily leave the battlefield.

Then he chose to roam instead of continuing to fight the grieving ghost.

Without him as the focal point, the soldiers in front would take the initiative to bear the attack of the grieving ghost.

The two sides fought and fought, and in general, Guo Xiuwen had a certain advantage.

After gaining the advantage, the rhythm was firmly controlled by Guo Xiuwen.

bang——

Guo Xiuwen suddenly canceled his transformation form, and used the change in body shape to avoid the attacks of several resentful ghosts. Then, with a wave of his hand, the Storm Sword appeared in his hand.

He waved lightly forward, the burning long sword pierced the air, and cut the two grieving ghosts into four pieces.

Because these two resentful ghosts had already been resurrected once, and now they turned into black smoke, dissipated and disappeared on the spot.

Roar--

The golden tiger roared, and eight phantoms flashed out from it, and the surrounding grudges were all smashed into pieces, turning into black smoke and dissipating.

woohoo-

The Frost Giant Wolf unleashed the cold air, and several grieving ghosts were immediately frozen by the cold air, and fell straight to the ground. After falling to the ground, they fell into several pieces.

bang bang bang-

Ban Lei raised his mace and slammed it three times at a grieving ghost, smashing the grieving ghost into a cloud of black air.

Whoosh whoosh—

Arrows from the elves rained down like rain, several grieving ghosts couldn’t dodge and were shot into sieves.

woohoo-

The ghost looks similar to the grudge, but the way of fighting is very different.

They gathered together, found a grieving ghost, and then swarmed them, using their life-absorbing skills, directly sucking the grieving ghost into space. I don’t know if it was an illusion, but Guo Xiuwen felt that after absorbing the grieving ghost, their bodies seemed to be much darker and brighter.

As the resentful ghosts were killed one by one, the situation of the battle soon became clear.

woohoo-

But seeing as our side gained more and more advantage as they fought, our soldiers became more and more aggressive.

One gray wolf skipped to the middle of the six grieving ghosts without checking the other ones.

The opponent landed several consecutive attacks, and the gray wolf, which was originally huge, directly turned into a skinny shape.

Seeing that the situation was not good, Guo Xiuwen immediately chose to consume [-] units of basic resources to increase the level of the gray wolf.

boom--

A burst of brilliance rose, and the gray wolf that was on the verge of death suddenly regained its vitality.

A burst of blue brilliance appeared from the gray wolf who had recovered, and then accelerated out of the encirclement, successfully escaping.

Roar--

After throwing down a grieving ghost, a fierce tiger instinctively rolled its body, trying to crush the opponent with its own strong body.

But the resentful ghost is immune to physical attacks, and doesn’t care about the opponent’s action at all.

He even took advantage of the opponent’s turning over and directly attached to the Tiger, causing the Tiger to pause for a moment.

Then several resentful ghosts swarmed up, ready to attack the tiger.

However, with the lessons learned from the gray wolf, the Tigers escaped from the encirclement one step ahead of time after realizing that their attack was ineffective and that they were about to be encircled.

The reason why the resentful ghost chose to encircle the gray wolf and the fierce tiger was mainly because the main attacks of the two were mainly physical damage.

Although it has the bonus of enchantment and skill damage, the grudge, who is also a silver rank, is not too afraid.

As for the Cerberus and Druid who were also charging forward, they had not been paid much attention by the Wraith.

The reason is also very simple. The flames on the Cerberus and the druid’s endless healing skills are what the ghosts are unwilling to face.

When Guo Xiuwen waved his hand and killed the last grieving ghost, he had time to check the results of this battle.

Seeing these gains, he felt a little depressed.

Because of this, the drop of the Burning Blood Skull for the first time can only be regarded as an accident.

Then the drop of the grieving ghost can explain something.

Two times in a row, the number of enemies killed is the same, and the harvest is not bad.

Two problems are illustrated.

One problem is that there may be too many silver-level enemies in Burial Ground, so the drop rate is naturally much lower.

If this is the reason, it’s better to say something, after all, at least the experience and basic drop rate have not changed, so it is still worth it.

After all, he really couldn’t find so many wild monsters from other places at present.

Even if the drop rate is a little lower, then the harvest is not low.

After all, whether it is a silver-level soul crystal, a perfect bone, or an intermediate elemental crystal, they are all expensive resources.

But if it was another possibility, Guo Xiuwen would be a little worried.

Another possibility is that most of the soldiers under him are silver-ranked, so when he fights against silver-ranked enemies, the drop rate will be much reduced.

This possibility means that in the future, in addition to killing enemies stronger than the gold rank, his gains from killing silver rank and below enemies will be further reduced.

This harvest, in conjunction with the current lord’s strength is generally in black iron and ordinary, when the soldier’s strength is generally in bronze or below.

That basically eliminated the possibility of him getting good things from killing the lord.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen could only comfort himself. It is very likely that the drop rate of some items has decreased only because of the particularity of Boneyard.

After all, no matter what, he himself is just a weak Bronze Rank lord.

In this lord continent, he is obviously not considered strong.

So it stands to reason that whether it is the system or some powerful beings, the focus on oneself should not be so strong.

It’s not like you specifically target yourself.

With this excuse, whether it is self-comfort or not.

At least temporarily, Guo Xiuwen let go of his worries.

Not to mention other gains, Guo Xiuwen gained more than 220 experience points from the 2 silver-rank wild monsters.

In this way, after upgrading the Druid profession to the Archdruid, the experience value slot that was emptied has been greatly replenished again.

2 points of experience are enough for him to advance several professional levels or more racial levels.

So after watching the harvest and temporarily relieving his worries, Guo Xiuwen led the team back home with a happy smile.

Whether it is a blood-burning skeleton or a grieving ghost, because its own strength has reached the silver level, and it also has the characteristic of immortality.

When fighting, it is never easy to kill the opponent.

Especially when the number of opponents is more than that of oneself.

Guo Xiuwen again wanted to kill the opponent without injury.

So the fighting time is naturally very long.

After all the ghosts were killed, it was almost dark.

However, being able to kill more than 200 silver-rank wild monsters in one day is not a disadvantage if it takes such a long time.

Because Guo Xiuwen has already repaired the straight road from the territory to this side, so the return journey did not waste too much time.

Many soldiers returned to the territory along the straight road.

Guo Xiuwen arranged for the soldiers to eat, but he directly dragged Alia into the hot spring.

It’s not that he has any bad intentions.

After fighting all day, he didn’t really have much interest in doing anything else.

Mainly because today is the seventh day that he and Aaliya have been in the hot springs.

As a special building, a hot spring is not just for bathing.
