Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 133 Merit Exchange

Chapter 133 Merit Exchange
After thinking about it, he decided to exchange some high-level food seeds.

It took a total of [-] points of merit to exchange for five bronze-ranked seeds, one type of cub, and one type of fish fry.

The reason for changing so many seeds is because Guo Xiuwen saw a good thing on the next page.

[100 merit points can be exchanged for a Xiangmanyuan brewing recipe;
100 meritorious points can be exchanged for a nine-bowl brewing recipe;
100 meritorious points can be exchanged for a thousand-cup brewing recipe;
100 meritorious points can be exchanged for a Requiem brewing recipe;
100 meritorious points can be exchanged for a sweet as honey brewing recipe. 】

Guo Xiuwen did not forget the five wine recipes, and he still had a task to find the wine recipes.

That was the task that Succubus Meimei let herself learn the rewards of the Demon Warlock profession.

He has not forgotten this task, after all, if the tavern opens, there is a certain chance of attracting heroes.

But unfortunately, whether it was the siege battle, or the trade with the caravan of the swamp camp, and the subsequent robbing of the lord of the cemetery camp, he didn’t get the wine formula.

On the contrary, he already has a clue about the food.

The wheat, herring, lotus root and snapping turtles in the territory are all stable and rare foods.

He specifically asked Mei Mei and got a positive reply from the other party.

The only pity is that these foods are not yet ready for harvest.

Moreover, this task is required to be completed within three weeks. According to the harvest cycle of those foods, only herring can keep up.

But this question is not too urgent.

Because the food is there, as long as it proves that it can be supplied stably, it is considered that the mission conditions have been fulfilled.

After all, Meimei presided over the acceptance of the task. Under reasonable rules, for example, if she advances the reward to Guo Xiuwen, it can be done.

On the contrary, it is the wine formula. Mei Mei said before that even if the collected formula cannot brew wine, it can still be considered as completing the task.

But the premise must be the brewing recipe.

How could he know that there was a turning point now, in the trial space that he had never thought of, he encountered a drink formula that he thought was impossible to appear.

”Then how come there are wine brewing blueprints?”

Guo Xiuwen was really curious.

After all, the trial space is a life-saving place, and it stands to reason that drinks are not a necessity.

The aborigines of the swamp camp and the cemetery camp did not have wine recipes, but because these things were not necessary for the newly arrived lords, the caravans were not prepared.

Guo Xiuwen even asked Tuckers if it would be feasible for the other party to bring him a few blueprints of the brewing recipe next week.

As a result, Tuckers directly rejected the proposal because it did not comply with the rules.

This is really a turn of events.

After spending [-] merit points again, Guo Xiuwen became more curious about what the quartermaster had.

[1000 Merit Points are exchanged for Treant Camp;
4000 merit points can be exchanged for Elf Tribe;
7000 merit points can be exchanged for druid training camp. 】

The three drawings instantly made Guo Xiuwen open his mouth and couldn’t close it for a long time.

What kind of fairy thing is this.

Except for Druid, he knew the other two of these three blueprints.

Needless to say, the tree man camp, the soldiers are naturally tree men. Needless to say, this must be the Bronze rank barracks.

As for the elf tribe, this is an elf.

Arya just so happens to be an elf.

And what is Alia’s attribute? As long as she is upgraded to LV5 and becomes an adult, she can be promoted to the silver rank.

And the exchange price for such an elf tribe is only four thousand points of merit.

But the druid training camp needs a full [-] merit points to redeem, which is [-] more merit points than the elf tribe.

Needless to say, if the elves of the elf tribe need to reach adulthood to advance to the silver rank, then the soldiers recruited by the druid training camp definitely started at the silver rank.

Guo Xiuwen quickly checked his merit points.

But the results of the inspection made him a little embarrassed.

Because he exchanged food resource points, seeds, and brewing recipes before, he still has 8000 and [-] points of merit.

In other words, even if he consumes all the merit points, it is impossible to exchange all three barracks blueprints.

So Guo Xiuwen didn’t make a choice right away, but continued to scroll down.

[100 points of merit are exchanged for a barracks lair heart (black iron);
1000 merit points can be exchanged for a territory heart. 】

Guo Xiuwen was relieved when he saw the last thing that could be redeemed.

Then, without hesitation, he spent [-] merit points to exchange for the druid training camp, and at the same time consumed another [-] merit points to exchange for [-] hearts of the lair of the black iron rank barracks.

As for the remaining 200 meritorious points, he is naturally going to use them on the altar of worshiping nature.

Although the chances of worshiping the natural altar to get good things are not many, the 0.01% chance of getting heroes to recruit family members still makes him a little excited.

The main reason why they didn’t exchange for the treant camp was because Guo Xiuwen’s current troop composition, only Bronze rank treants were not too useful.

Instead of spending a thousand merit points to exchange for a blueprint of a Bronze Rank barracks, it is better to exchange for ten lair hearts.

This represents an opportunity to upgrade a Bronze rank barracks to Silver rank.

Currently, his territory is at the Bronze level, and there is no restriction on upgrading the barracks to the Silver level.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen is satisfied.

As for the Elf Tribe, it can only be blamed on the fact that he does not have enough merit points, so compared to the stronger Druid Training Camp, he can only give up.

As for whether it is worth spending so many merit points to exchange for a silver-rank barracks.

Guo Xiuwen didn’t care.

What is certain is that the higher the rank of the barracks, the harder it is to obtain.

Another one is to upgrade the barracks from a low level to a high level, which consumes a lot of resources.

What’s more, there are many demands, and he has already discovered it.

Even if a low-level unit is promoted to a high-level, its own strength is still at the middle and lower stages of this level.

Therefore, Guo Xiuwen has great expectations for the druid training camp, which requires a full [-] points of merit.

”How about it, do you want to sell the materials?”

After he closed the exchange interface, the quartermaster winked at him.

Guo Xiuwen smiled a little. He naturally guessed the other party’s needs, but unfortunately, he did not continue to kill wild beasts these days, and the materials in his hand were all dropped by the undead.

But in the end, the other party is also in the same camp as him. If the other party can give some good things, he doesn’t mind selling the materials to the other party.

And even if you don’t sell it, you can ask the price.

”Do you want white bones and elemental crystals?”

Guo Xiuwen has the most items in his hand.

The point is that he still doesn’t know how to use these two things.

”Yes, you eliminated the vanguard, there must be a lot of these things, how about this, if you want basic materials or something, you can bring them up.”

Hearing this news, Guo Xiuwen’s eyes lit up.

”Can these things be exchanged for the drawings of the Elf Tribe?”

Since the quartermaster put the blueprints on the shelf, it must be shot.

The rest, of course, is a matter of price.

Sure enough, I heard that Guo Xiuwen wanted the drawings of the elf tribe barracks.

The quartermaster nodded.

”It can be, but the amount of materials needed for this thing is not low.”

”How many Bronze-rank soul crystals can you exchange for an exquisite white bone, and how many Bronze-rank soul crystals can you exchange for a primary dark element crystal?”

Although it is not the first transaction between the two parties, Guo Xiuwen still needs to ask the price clearly.

Friendship is friendship, and transactions are transactions.

It is best not to mix the two together, otherwise it will definitely be a thankless task.

”The young man is still cautious. How about this? These two things are worth twenty soul crystals. If you want the drawings of the elf tribe, just give me two thousand white bones or two thousand dark element crystals.”

Guo Xiuwen clicked his tongue a little.

This price is not low.

According to this calculation, if you want to change to the blueprint of the elf tribe, you need a full [-] bronze-level soul crystals.

If calculated in this way, the blueprint of the barracks sold by 007 last time can be regarded as a conscience price.

After all, the other party only wanted [-] Bronze Rank Soul Crystals to sell a blueprint of an ordinary rank barracks.

”too expensive!”

Guo Xiuwen shook his head.

”Don’t think it’s too expensive. This is what most people want. There are no barracks above the Silver rank. You are lucky enough to be able to enter the trial space, and there are no competitors.”

As a result, the quartermaster was unmoved by his reaction.

”You may not know that the number of blueprints for barracks with higher foundations is limited.”

”As for the blueprints of silver-level barracks, each camp can only have a maximum of [-] copies.”

The quartermaster obviously wanted to use hunger marketing to attract Guo Xiuwen to spend resources obediently.

”Ten thousand copies is not a lot.”

Guo Xiuwen didn’t think that ten thousand was a very small number.

”That’s why I say you’re lucky.”

As a result, the quartermaster shook his head, and then asked him a question.

”Do you know how many lords there are in each camp in the place where it descends?”

”I really don’t know that.”

Guo Xiuwen really doesn’t know how many lords each camp has, but judging from the recent increase in the number of markets, the overall number of lords should be more than [-].

”100 million!”

The minimum lower limit for each camp is 100 million lords!

”Go on, just kidding!”

Guo Xiuwen was so frightened that he couldn’t help but make his voice a little louder.

100 million!

This number was really too big, so big that he couldn’t accept it for a while.

You know, he knows that when choosing a camp, there are a total of eight camps to choose from.

If the quartermaster did not tell lies, then there are at least 800 million lords who came this time.

Even if some eliminated ones are counted, it wouldn’t be too surprising that the number of lords exceeds tens of millions.

After all, he remembered that when the novice period ended, the lord’s elimination rate seemed to be 4.8%.

At the time, I thought this number was not too large.

But if it is placed on 1000 or [-] million, the number of eliminated lords is definitely an exaggerated number.

”What do you think?”

The quartermaster smiled, and Guo Xiuwen was silent for a moment.

”Then I can also upgrade the low-level barracks to the silver level, which doesn’t require so many soul crystals.

After all, 400 bronze-rank soul crystals, if converted into basic resources, are a full [-] million basic resources.

”If it was an ordinary barracks, I would naturally not call such a high price, but the elf tribe is different.”

The quartermaster shook his head.

”Because there is a limited number of silver-rank soldiers in the barracks, it is still blessed by the goddess to let the elves advance to silver after they become adults, avoiding this restriction.”

”You must have a lot of soldiers under your command, so you should also know that soldiers with higher foundations will still be stronger after advanced.”

Guo Xiuwen hadn’t recovered from the shock of the number of lords before, so he didn’t reply right away.

”And you need to know that since each camp has a limit, if you want to exchange for high-level barracks blueprints, you still need to pass the test.

The reason why it will be exchanged for you this time is mainly because you have eliminated the undead vanguard. If you want to exchange it next time, not only will the price remain the same, but you will also need to complete the task again. ”

Hearing these words, Guo Xiuwen finally came to his senses.

If the quartermaster hadn’t lied to him, then the resources the other party said were really not expensive.

”Then what if I still want to change the heart of the lair of the barracks? What is the price?”

Hearing that silver barracks were so scarce, Guo Xiuwen had another thought.

That is to change more lair hearts, and then upgrade the low-level barracks.

After all, compared to other lords, he needs to collect all kinds of rare resources, and he doesn’t have this problem.

”Where there are still, let you change them.”

As a result, the quartermaster shook his head, indicating that there were no more.

Guo Xiuwen had no choice but to agree to the other party’s exchange request.

”What about the soul crystals of the Bronze and Silver ranks, do you have them here?”

But before that, he was concerned about another thing.

”There are quite a lot left, but the exchange price of silver-rank soul crystals needs to be increased by fifteen times.”

The quartermaster nodded. They still have soul crystals, but they are different from the regular bronze-rank soul crystals and silver-rank soul crystals which are ten to one.

He needs fifteen to one here.

Guo Xiuwen nodded, and then sorted out the materials on his body.

After three battles, he harvested a lot of exquisite white bones and primary dark element crystals.

The exquisite white bones have a total of more than four thousand.

On the other hand, there are not that many primary dark element crystals, only [-] in number.

But if you add them up, if you convert them into Bronze rank soul crystals, there are a total of one hundred and six thousand soul crystals.

After deducting the [-] coins exchanged for the Elf Tribe, the other party needs to give him [-] coins.

Then Guo Xiuwen exchanged [-] Bronze Rank Soul Crystals for [-] Silver Rank Soul Crystals.

The reason why there are so few exchanges is because the quartermaster only has a thousand silver-rank soul crystals.

After receiving the news, he began to mourn for the other lords.

Because unlike him, which can be replaced with basic resources, other lords absolutely cannot avoid silver-rank soul crystals when upgrading their soldiers.

It is conceivable that in the future, when the main soldiers of the lords generally reach the silver rank, it will definitely become very difficult to upgrade.

And the reason why he exchanged so many soul crystals was that apart from the fact that the quartermaster’s price was twice as high as that quoted by 007, soul crystals were also a necessity.

Especially dealing with 007.
