Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 117 Preparation

Chapter 117 Preparation
Seeing the attributes of the lizard hunter, Guo Xiuwen knew that his choice was not wrong.

Lizardmen are obviously a race that favors agility.

It’s not impossible to train them as fighters or mages.

But compared to the hunter, there is obviously a certain difference.

Especially the three skills that the opponent has mastered.

Except for the first one that can be used in three directions, the remaining two are obviously suitable for shooters.

Of course, it doesn’t rule out that if he chooses a fighter or a mage, the skills the soldier possesses will change.

So Guo Xiuwen didn’t hesitate, and continued to spend an extra unit of crystal after consuming recruitment resources, and chose the training direction of fighters.

【Lizard Warrior】

【Intelligent Race】【Bronze】

Level: LV1(0/100)
Strength: 16 (adult)
Constitution: 15
Agility: 13
Spirit: 9
Abilities: Acid Jet, Blast Shot.
Well, he thought wrong. It turned out that what changed was not the skills, but the attributes of the soldiers.

After training as a hunter, the opponent’s highest attribute is 17 points of agility. Now, after training as a warrior, the highest attribute is 16 points of strength, and his constitution has increased a little, but his agility has dropped by four points.

Guo Xiuwen couldn’t think of it, so he spent resources again and chose to train a mage.

【Lizard Mage】

【Intelligent Race】【Bronze】

Level: LV1(0/100)
Strength: 11 (adult)
Constitution: 13
Agility: 14
Spirit: 15
Abilities: Acid Jet, Blast Shot.
Good guy, the total attribute has not changed, but this time the highest attribute has become spirit.

From the perspective of attributes, there is no change among the three, and the skills are all the same.

But for Guo Xiuwen to choose, he still likes Lizard Hunter the most.

The main reason for this is that after a soldier is upgraded, the improved attributes are increased by a percentage.

The highest attributes of Lizard Warrior and Lizard Mage are 16 points and 15 points respectively, which is still a bit worse than the Lizard Hunter with the highest attribute of 17 points.

Although one level may not have much effect, but if you improve several levels in a row.

The gap in superior attributes will be widened.

Not to mention if you use the level upgrade card to upgrade.

The growth of advantageous attributes will be more obvious.

In addition, there is another important reason, that is, recruiting lizard hunters does not require consuming an additional unit of rare resources.

Although for Guo Xiuwen, when recruiting soldiers, one unit of rare resources is actually just one hundred units of basic resources.

But if you can save, there is no need to waste it.

Before discovering that lizard fighters and lizard mages had a greater role, Guo Xiuwen decided that the output of the follow-up barracks should be recruited as normal lizard hunters.

After reading the attributes of the lizard soldiers, he placed the swamp frogman barracks aside, and then directly chose to recruit fifty swamp frogmen.

Then he kept moving, directly raising the level of the barracks, and recruiting fifty more black iron-level swamp frogmen.

The arrival of one hundred laborers greatly supplemented his original labor shortage.

Guo Xiuwen let go of his heart, and then looked at a lair heart in his hand, thinking about whether to continue to upgrade the level of the barracks, and which barracks would be appropriate to upgrade.

There are now five barracks in his territory.

They are Gray Wolf Lair, Refugee Camp, Goblin Camp, Lizardman Training Ground and Silt Pool (Swamp Frogmen).

Among them, the gray wolf lair, the refugee camp, and the lizardman training ground are all Bronze-rank barracks, and they need a Bronze-rank lair heart or ten Black-iron lair hearts to upgrade.

So holding a Black Iron Lair Heart in his hand, the only two barracks that meet the upgrade requirements are the Goblin Camp and the Silt Pond.

The main reason why he was entangled was that Tux told him that when the barracks level was raised above Bronze Rank, the number of soldiers that could be recruited every week would gradually decrease with each subsequent upgrade.

In other words, if he upgrades the goblin camp or mud pool to the bronze level, there is a high probability that the number of soldiers he can recruit will become ten.

He didn’t know the strength of ten bronze-level goblins or swamp frogmen.

However, it is foreseeable that with the expansion of the territory in the future, there will always be a labor gap.

So in the end, he did not choose to upgrade the two barracks immediately.

Today is already the fourth day of the first week of the adaptation period, and he is going to wait this week, and then see if he needs to upgrade two barracks levels as a labor force.

What Tuckers said today reminded him that any territory, whether it is high-end combat power or low-end labor force, is an indispensable existence.

I met Tuckers today, and it took a whole morning for the two parties to reach a deal.

In the afternoon, Guo Xiuwen didn’t do anything else, but opened a map around the territory.

After an afternoon of sweeping, although the gains were not much, he had personally walked all the locations within five kilometers of his territory.

At the same time, he has also made a decision. After dealing with the caravan from the cemetery camp, he will find a way to raise the level of the territory again.

The reason why I didn’t choose to find a way before the other party came.

The main reason is that time is urgent, and he doesn’t know if he can get the Heart of the Territory.

And he wanted to rely on destroying the territory of the lord of the cemetery camp to see if he could get the heart of the territory.

But at the same time, he was unwilling to give up the opportunity of the cemetery caravan coming.

Of course, it wasn’t that he was going to trade with the caravan from the cemetery camp.

Instead, he had a bold idea in mind.

If this plan can be successful, Guo Xiuwen feels that he can definitely make a fortune.

This time the map is opened, mainly because of the number of wild monsters that may appear to attack the territory after the upgrade of the exploration territory.

And the reason why they only opened five kilometers around the territory was, of course, because it was already dark.

Although with the strength of his soldiers, Tianhei is not unable to continue taking action.

But Guo Xiuwen chose to return to the territory to rest.

Just at this time, the other [-] units of rare resources he listed were all sold out.

After getting rid of the 340 units of rare resources, even if he got another [-] units to replenish at night, the rare resources in his hand are less than [-] units.

It can be foreseen that as the aboriginal caravan continues to go to more lords’ territories, it will become increasingly difficult for Guo Xiuwen to sell the rare resources at this price.

But he was in no hurry.

As a result of these two days, the basic resources in his hands once again broke through the [-] unit mark.

With these resources, he can even increase the progress of a territory technology to 10%.

However, he was not in a hurry to use it. Instead, he went to the hot spring and checked in every day.

Checking in to a hot spring alone would definitely be a bit boring, but soon Aaliya also walked in.

The two of them stayed in the hot spring for enough check-in time, and then returned to the Lord’s Mansion one after the other to rest.

The next day, the first thing Guo Xiuwen did after waking up was to go to the market to check the prices of resources listed for sale by various lords.

Then, as he expected, except that the price of food has risen to ten to one of the price quoted by Taxes last time and the other three basic resources.

The purchase price of rare resources dropped directly to one to five hundred.

More importantly, it is different from the previous few days when there were only requests for purchases and no sales orders.

He saw sporadic selling orders for rare resources in the market.

Most of the listed prices are [-] to [-] or [-] to [-].

Although it is higher than the [-]:[-] that begged for purchase, it is not higher than [-]:[-].

Obviously, most lords should already know that the aboriginal caravans are selling rare resources.

It’s a pity for Guo Xiuwen. He has only sold rare resources for two or three days at huge profits, and he has been suppressed a lot.

After thinking about it, he still listed [-] units for sale again, at a price of one to five hundred.

The reason why it is sold at such a low price is mainly because I want to sell it early and recycle some of the basic resources.

After all, compared to the one-to-one-hundred price defined by the system, selling rare resources in exchange for basic resources is still more cost-effective for him.

Many orders of [-] to [-] in the market have not been bought by anyone. He listed [-] to [-], which should be able to attract lords in need to buy.

As for whether this will disrupt the market, Guo Xiuwen doesn’t think so.

After deducting 10% of the tax, his price is actually not much different from selling it to a caravan for one to four hundred.

The reason why I didn’t sell it to the caravan yesterday was because I wanted to take advantage of the fact that other lords didn’t know about it.

There is also the feeling that the other party sold one to eight hundred, but received only one to four hundred.

Not to mention that I have lost too much, and the basic resource in Tax’s hands is only food.

But the price of food is too expensive, otherwise we have to change weapons.

He was not very interested in either of these things.

[Ding, 30 units of crystals of your product have been sold, and the market charges a 10% handling fee. Your 13500 units of basic resources are stored in the market, please withdraw them as soon as possible! 】

Sure enough, with such a low price, the demand for rare resources is still huge.

The three orders of resources were quickly bought away.

Just thinking about the same amount of rare resources, yesterday it reached a total of [-], but today there are only a little over [-] left, and the harvest in one day is halved. He still feels a little regretful.

[Resource bag normal x10]

[Price: 50 Soul Crystals (Black Iron)]

【Long Sword】

【equipment】

Basic attributes: +10 attack power, can be used to synthesize high-level equipment.

[Price: 50 soul crystals (bronze)]

【dagger】

【equipment】

Basic attributes: +10% attack speed, which can be used to synthesize high-level equipment.

[Price: 50 soul crystals (bronze)]

After selling the items, and looking at the three items refreshed today, Guo Xiuwen looked up at 007.
”It seems that you know that I traded with the caravan yesterday!”

He just saw the two pieces of equipment, the long sword and the short sword, from Taxes yesterday, and the other party also quoted 50 Bronze Rank soul crystals.

As a result, these two items are now available at 007 today.

Guo Xiuwen didn’t believe it if there was nothing to do with it.

So he didn’t hide it, and asked directly.

”To be honest, your price here has no advantage.”

Even if 007 didn’t know it, he was ready to take out Taxes to bargain for himself.

”Well, I didn’t expect you to meet the caravan so soon, and you also met the caravan from the swamp camp first.”

After hearing Guo Xiuwen’s words, 007’s mood did not change much.

”Actually, my side also has the function of recycling rare resources.

The price is the same as the purchase price of the caravan.

You can choose to exchange one to four hundred for basic resources except food.

It can also be exchanged for Bronze rank soul crystals at a ratio of two to one. ”

Guo Xiuwen: ”.”

He once again had a new understanding of 007’s thick skin.

At the same time, I am also glad that I met the caravan early.

Because according to this situation, the other party has not mentioned these functions before, and has obvious intentions to limit the development of its territory.

If it weren’t for the fact that the market was still useful to his territory, he couldn’t help but choose to destroy this building and cut off 007’s dog’s head to play with.

So he stopped talking and left the market directly.

Watching Guo Xiuwen leave angrily, 007 lowered his head and sent a message to the chat channel.

”Is it really necessary to restrict these potential lords like this? I don’t think this is a wise choice.”

003: ”It seems that the strength of the lord where your territory is located is really developing very well, otherwise it wouldn’t make you worry about the future so early.”

015: ”Until we find a force that can lead the magic camp back, we cannot stop suppressing the potential lords!”

022: ”We worked hard for so long before we finally got the authority of the market administrator. If we can’t make good use of it, do we really have to work for them?”

Seeing the replies from other companions, 007 didn’t speak any more, but turned off his own energy supply and fell into a dormant state.

The whole market fell into a calm.

Guo Xiuwen came outside and was about to arrange today’s activities, but a skeleton warrior returned to the territory along the straight road.

Seeing the direction of the other party’s return, Guo Xiuwen’s heart moved, and he took the initiative to meet him.

Because the other party was arranged by him in the cemetery camp lord’s territory.

Sure enough, from the perception of the skeleton warrior’s consciousness, he confirmed that just this morning, a caravan from the cemetery camp appeared not far from the territory.

Guo Xiuwen glanced at the flying dragon king’s flag hanging in the territory, and heaved a sigh of relief.

Then after thinking about it, he summoned the five ghosts in the territory, and set foot on the straight road towards the cemetery lord’s territory.

When he came to a place not far from the lord’s territory of the cemetery, he did not enter the territory, but checked it from a distance.

Just when he arrived, a huge skeleton that was much taller than ordinary skeletons and nearly three meters in size was leaving the opponent’s camp and walking in the direction of his territory.

Guo Xiuwen couldn’t help feeling a little thankful that when he first practiced the straight path, he didn’t choose to practice directly on the edge of the cemetery lord’s territory, but deviated a little.

Otherwise, I am afraid that this time I will directly encounter the caravan leader of the cemetery camp.

【Bone General】【Saka】

【Undead】【Bronze】【Boss】

Like the turks of the swamp camp encountered before, the caravan leader of the cemetery camp is also a leader unit.

And also can’t see the other party’s specific attributes.

But he could see the soldiers led by the opponent.
