Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 115 Trading

Chapter 115 Trading
Before he could think too much, he heard a swearing voice coming from the front.

”Oh, damn it, Master Flying Dragon King, Ankang, I said why everyone is unwilling to trade this time. It turns out that one or two of these newcomers are all poor and have no resources at all.”

The speaker was a very special lizardman.

The reason why the other party is special is that compared to the lizardmen who are generally only about 1.5 meters tall, the other party is two meters tall and wears a robe with complicated patterns.

There is also a decoration on the forehead, and a long staff is held in the hand. The gemstone on the staff is not ordinary at first glance.

”Yo! Yo! Yo! Look! Look! What did I see, a lord who walked out of his territory and was very confused.”

”Lord passing by, I am Lord Tux, the leader of the caravan under Lord Flying Dragon King, do you want to buy something?”

”Our Flying Dragon King is the only neutral force within a range of three thousand miles. As a member of the forest camp, I think it is the safest thing for you to make a deal with us.”

Before Guo Xiuwen could speak, the other party also spotted him.

Then, something happened that made Guo Xiuwen breathe a sigh of relief. The other party invited him to trade as soon as they met, and according to the other party, it seemed that even if it was a caravan from other camps, he could trade.

”Hello, Mr. Tux, as you can see, I am a lord, please show me your goods.”

Guo Xiuwen frowned, thinking about the opponent’s strength in his eyes.

Because after seeing the other party, a message appeared in front of him.

【Lizardman】【Tax】

【Intelligent Race】【Bronze】【Leader】

Contrary to his expectations, the leader of the caravan turned out to be a Bronze rank leader unit.

He had seen the system prompt before that each level of creature has three levels, which are ordinary units, elite units, and leader units.

Before this, it was the first time he encountered the leader unit.

”Hahaha, respected guest, please rest assured that Mr. Tux’s stuff will definitely satisfy you, please follow me.”

Tux raised his staff, and the lizardmen following behind him took the initiative to get out of the way.

”Do you recognize the things on these camel beasts? Gems, crystals, orichalcum, mithril and other rare resources are all available, and the exchange ratio with wood, stones, and iron ore is 1:800.”

”I also brought a lot of food, and the exchange ratio for wood, stone, and iron ore is 1:10.”

”How about it, do you want to change it a little bit?”

Guo Xiuwen frowned at Tux’s words. He looked at the other party and asked.

”Can you exchange as many rare resources as you want?”

You know, he is now in the market, and the exchange ratio between rare resources and ordinary resources is one thousand to one.

Now, if the caravan’s resource exchange rate is [-]:[-], it means that if he does not lower the price, as the caravan reaches the lord’s territory one after another, his rare resources will not be able to sell at this price.

”Of course it is possible in theory, but this time I went out, I only brought [-] units of each of the four types of resources. I have changed part of the previous territory, and now there are about [-] units in total. Do you want to exchange them all?”

Upon hearing his question, Tux raised the staff in his hand, appearing very confident.

Judging by his appearance, it is obvious that Guo Xiuwen cannot exchange so many rare resources.

However, he still politely answered Guo Xiuwen’s question.

”If you don’t have enough rare resources, I will also collect soul crystals and various materials.”

Guo Xiuwen shook his head, then looked at the other party.

”Is there anything else? I don’t lack rare resources.”

”Oh, in that case, please show me your financial resources and your own needs, so that I can show you something according to your situation, otherwise, I have too many good things here.”

The other party spoke very authoritatively, but Guo Xiuwen knew that the other party obviously didn’t believe that he had money to buy good things.

”If you sell rare resources to you, what is the price?”

Regarding this, Guo Xiuwen was not too angry, but asked the other party about the acquisition.

To say that the most valuable thing on him is of course more than 400 units of rare resources at present.

”If you want to sell rare resources, I can buy them at a price of one to four hundred.”

One to four hundred is equivalent to twice the difference between the purchase price and the sale price, but compared to the system’s one to one hundred price, it is still much higher.

Guo Xiuwen nodded, and with a simple wave of his hand, he displayed all the rare resources of more than 400 units.

”Aha, that’s really good. Among the lords I met as a merchant, the resources you possess are definitely among the top ones.”

Seeing the financial resources Guo Xiuwen showed, Tuckers nodded.

”Tell me what you need.”

Guo Xiuwen heard the opponent’s words and thought about it carefully. He didn’t know what he wanted for a while, so he simply looked around in the opponent’s team.

Suddenly, he saw the flag hanging by the other party, and after carefully confirming the introduction of the flag, he considered it before speaking.

”Since you know that I am a member of the forest camp, you must know that the cemetery camp is our sworn enemy. Is there anything that will allow me to coexist peacefully with them or communicate with them?”

”Well, this request of yours is quite unique, and it also makes me embarrassed.”

Tuckers didn’t refuse directly when he heard his question.

He glanced at Guo Xiuwen: ”You are trying to beat Lord Flying Dragon King, which is very expensive.”

”How expensive is it? If it’s too expensive, I might as well not want it. You’re just showing neutrality.”

The reason why Guo Xiuwen said this was because he saw the introduction information of the other party’s flag.

[Faction Flag - Neutral]

Introduction: After hoisting this flag, you can walk in the sphere of influence of all camps, and will not be attacked by any forces unless you take the initiative to attack.

Flying this flag allows trade with all camps.

This is a good thing. With this thing, Guo Xiuwen doesn’t need to worry about his territory being attacked.

”The price of this thing is something you can’t afford at this stage.”

But Turks outright rejected his intention to buy the flag.

Just when he was disappointed, the situation took a turn for the worse, and Turks reached out and took out a smaller flag.

”But I think if you just want to avoid being attacked by the cemetery camp, this thing is enough.”

Under the display of the other party, Guo Xiuwen saw the information of the flag.

[Faction Flag - Swamp Flying Dragon King]

Introduction: By flying this flag, you can be protected by the Flying Dragon King and avoid the active attacks of some forces.

Consumption: 10 units of rare resources/week.

If the owner of the flag does something detrimental to the interests of the Dragon King, the flag will be taken back and will be attacked by the Dragon King’s forces.

Seeing this flag, Guo Xiuwen’s eyes lit up.

Looking at it like this, it is obvious that the flag can be hoisted and join the Flying Dragon King camp.

As for the consumption of the flag, if nothing else happened, it would naturally be a tax paid to the Flying Dragon King.

As the Flying Dragon King is a neutral camp in the swamp, the forces of the cemetery camp should not come to attack him.

”If I hang this flag, does it mean that I have joined the camp swamp?”

Although he was moved, he still wanted to ask about this matter clearly.

The Goddess of Nature was watching him, and he also received the task of recovering the barren forest.

In case the Goddess of Nature is dissatisfied by switching camps, he still can’t bear the consequences of angering a god.

”of course not!”

Tux’s words first made him nervous for a while, and then he let out a long sigh of relief.

”To fly this flag, first of all, you must pay 10 units of rare resources to the Dragon King as a protection fee every week, but it is impossible to enjoy the care of the Dragon King for the lord of the swamp camp.”

Tux’s explanation made him understand that besides allowing him to fly the banner of the Dragon King, he must pay the protection fee, but he cannot enjoy the benefits of the swamp camp.

”What about the weekly caravan, will you come to my territory every week?”

Guo Xiuwen doesn’t expect to have the same benefits as the swamp lord, but the caravan is obviously indispensable.

”I am currently in charge of the caravan. I can only say that you don’t need to worry about trading during the time period when I lead the caravan.”

Guo Xiuwen didn’t know what to say for a while at what Tuckers said.

Because the meaning of the other party’s words is obviously that there is no need to worry about him in his position. If the leader is changed later, it will be difficult to say.

However, Guo Xiuwen was not sure when the other party would be replaced.

”Okay, I want this flag.”

After thinking about it, Guo Xiuwen still decided to get the flag in his hand first.

”Chenghui, one hundred units of rare resources.”

As a result, Tux stretched out his hand and asked him for resources.

”Isn’t it ten units of rare resources every week?”

Guo Xiuwen was a little puzzled.

”Oh, Chenghui, 110 units of rare resources, this week’s tax must be paid together.”

Guo Xiu: ”.”

If the co-author wants to hang this flag, not only will he not be eligible for tax exemption for the first four weeks, but he will have to give an additional [-] units, which is the rare resource of ten weeks of taxation.

Guo Xiuwen scratched his head in distress.

He was obviously a little bit reluctant to hand over a quarter of the rare resources all at once.

So after thinking about it, he took out that middle-level dark element crystal.

”Please estimate the price, how many soul crystals this thing is worth, and what is the ratio of soul crystals to rare resources.”

He has not forgotten that soul crystals are the currency in circulation in this world.

Since rare resources are so expensive, the price of soul crystals should not be too low.

He had always felt that 007’s offer was too low, but now that he met Tuckers, he naturally wanted to ask about it.

”Oh, at least the intermediate elemental crystals that can only be produced at the silver level.”

Sure enough, seeing this thing, Tuckers became interested.

”Well, the exchange ratio between the price of bronze-rank soul crystals and rare resources is one to two.

Your mid-level soul crystal is relatively rare at this stage. If you sell it, I can count you as three hundred bronze-level soul crystals, which is worth six hundred units of rare resources. ”

This price made Guo Xiuwen’s heart skip a beat.

007 is indeed a profiteer.

He remembered that the other party was about to die with two hundred bronze-rank soul crystals and refused to let go.

Now Taxes directly increased the price by half, but luckily he didn’t make a move at that time.

”Can’t it go up a little more?”

Guo Xiuwen did not directly agree, but asked again.

”This price is only offered when you are about to join the Flying Dragon King’s command. If it is another caravan, the price will definitely not be higher than 250 bronze soul crystals.”

Tax shook his head, indicating that the price cannot be increased.

Guo Xiuwen didn’t argue with the other party.

”Since this is the case, in addition to the rare resources of one hundred and one soldiers that I need to hand in, you also need to give me 490 units of rare resources or 240 five bronze-level soul crystals.”

He turned to ask the other party for the middle price difference.

”Don’t worry, don’t worry, I still have a lot of good things on hand.”

But for this, Tuckers obviously didn’t want to directly supply him with resources.

He stretched out his hand directly, showing him the good stuff in his hand.

【Anti-Magic Cloak】

【equipment】

Basic attributes: +25 magic resistance, which can be used to synthesize high-level equipment.

Looking at the opponent’s series of equipment, Guo Xiuwen almost couldn’t help but redeem them all.

”How about it? Each piece of equipment has 490 units of rare resources. There are five pieces in total. Let me count [-] units of rare resources for you.”

Tuckers clearly saw that Guo Xiuwen was moved, so he took the initiative to express to him that he would be exempted from the ten units of rare resources that needed to be replenished.

One hundred units of equipment, compared to the price 007 sells, is obviously super high.

After all, he bought a piece of cloth armor from the other party before, and the price was only worth ten bronze-rank soul crystals.

Now it has directly changed to the price of fifty soul crystals, and he is not stupid.

”I don’t lack any equipment or anything. Do you have any blueprints for the barracks?”

Since the other party didn’t want to pay for soul crystals and rare resources, Guo Xiuwen was going to change the blueprint of the barracks.

In the foreseeable future, wars will definitely become more and more frequent, and the number of soldiers under him is still too small.

In case the war is too fierce in the future and the reduction in personnel is too serious, it is obviously a very wise thing to have more barracks for recruiting soldiers.

”Barracks drawing, oh, your choice is really very wise.”

Tuckers was actually very disappointed when he heard that Guo Xiuwen didn’t want the equipment.

But then he heard that he actually asked for the barracks drawings, and he suddenly became excited.

”Look, this is the blueprint of the swamp frogman. I will charge you five hundred units of rare resources for this blueprint.”
