Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 67 Attrition

Chapter 67 Attrition
At this time, the golden tiger just lunged forward, and the three skeleton warriors who were avoiding it were directly crushed to pieces.

No matter whether it is ordinary bones or the skull cover that protects the soul, they cannot resist the attack of the golden tiger.

The touch of the undead issued by the two ghosts was quickly dispelled after touching the golden tiger’s fur, and even the magic damage caused little damage to it.

”Roar--”

The golden tiger roared loudly, but this time it didn’t use the roaring skill, but used the summon tiger again.

As soon as the two three-meter-tall tigers appeared, they threw down a skeleton warrior respectively.

”Hey, it’s different!”

Guo Xiuwen saw something wrong with the tiger summoned by the golden tiger.

These two tigers are obviously stronger than the tigers summoned before.

【Tiger】

【Beast】【Bronze】

Size: 5.5m long (adult)
Weight: 1350KG (adult)
Skills: Tiger Roar, Combo (The tiger waves its claws and attacks the target three times in a row, causing 100%, 120%, and 150% damage respectively.)
He clicked on the fierce tiger summoned by the golden tiger and found that the opponent was actually of the Bronze rank.

”It turns out that when an elite soldier becomes an adult, his strength evaluation has actually been raised to a higher level.

However, a full 50% strength bonus is barely reasonable as a level difference. ”

Watching the soldiers under his hand become more and more powerful one by one.

Guo Xiuwen is very happy about this, after all, this is good news for him.

At the same time, he also discovered the specific difference between the summoned units, that is, the treants summoned by Aliya have levels, which means that the opponents can rely on leveling up to improve their strength.

However, the Tigers recruited by the Golden Tiger did not have a rank indication. It is likely that the strength of the Tigers recruited was fixed at a level.

After killing more than half of the skeleton warriors and ghosts in a row, they finally couldn’t bear it again and wanted to gather together.

Guo Xiuwen glanced at it. Not only did he not reduce his staff, but he also had four more Bronze Rank Skeleton Warriors and two ghosts.

Originally, he got five bronze-rank skeleton warrior summoning scrolls, and recruited them all.

But before, in order to protect a bronze-ranked gray wolf, he commanded a skeleton warrior to help block the knife.

As a result, the opponent died under the chaos of the hostile skeleton warrior.

It is certainly worthwhile to exchange a skeleton warrior for a gray wolf.

After all, the strength of the skeleton warrior alone is not as good as that of the gray wolf. In order to upgrade the gray wolf, he spent thousands of units of basic resources.

In order to improve the level of these soldiers, Guo Xiuwen has invested close to [-] units of resources.

So don’t look at how few of his staff have been reduced. With so many resources, if he reduces his staff again, how can he be worthy of his fine micro-management.

”Alia, left!”

When Guo Xiuwen discovered that several skeleton warriors were about to besiege the giant monster with the lowest defense, he hurriedly called out to remind Alia, who controlled the elemental tower.

boom--

The huge flames rushed down, directly turning the ground into a piece of scorched earth. Five skeleton warriors and two ghosts had no time to react, and they were directly burned into ashes.

But this time the attack of the elemental tower did not scare the enemy.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh-

A series of arrows flew out from the forest.

The gray wolf, which was only at level LV4 at present, had no time to react, and was directly shot through the body by the arrow.

[Ding, your soldier gray wolf is dead, and cannot be upgraded! 】

Guo Xiuwen didn’t even have a chance to click on the upgrade. Gray Wolf, who had invested a total of [-] units in recruiting and upgrading, was killed by a bone arrow.

”Not good, Bronze Rank Skeleton Archer!”

The gray wolf was directly shot by the arrow, but Guo Xiuwen didn’t know that there was still a Bronze rank skeleton archer hidden in the forest.

”I don’t know how many there are, the situation is a bit bad!”

Guo Xiuwen’s mood suddenly became a little worried.

He didn’t expect that these skeleton-like things would know how to hide their strength and divert attention.

If it weren’t for the gathering of those skeleton warriors just now, he would never let Aliya activate the elemental tower immediately.

There is still one minute before the elemental tower can be activated again. In other words, the bronze-level skeleton shooter still has one minute to attack.

Guo Xiuwen quickly called together the soldiers who had deliberately dispersed.

It’s not that he didn’t know that gathering together might be more likely to be attacked, but the fact that the gray wolf was shot made him understand.

If you continue to disperse the soldiers, the opponent can shoot one by one.

But if they were gathered together, as long as they didn’t hit so many attacks in a row, he and Aria’s treatment methods could still save the lives of the soldiers.

He deliberately gathered the soldiers together, just to attract the skeleton shooter to find multiple targets at a time to disperse the attack.

Thinking of this, he deliberately came out of the Elemental Tower, and then arranged for a ghost to go in to make up for it.

His rejuvenation technique cannot get the bonus of the elemental tower, but the ghost’s magic attack can be increased.

Although ghosts cannot attack the Bronze rank skeleton shooters hiding in the forest, they can interrupt the attacks of skeleton warriors and hostile ghosts.

click-

Another bronze-ranked skeleton warrior was headshot to death in order to help the giant monster Ban Lei block the archer’s arrows.

But the giant monster Banshi on the other side was not treated so well. There were no skeleton warriors staying behind him.

So Guo Xiuwen could only watch the opponent being shot on the spot.

”Damn!”

Guo Xiuwen was a little irritable after losing three soldiers in a row, all of whom were the main force of the Bronze rank.

I thought the battle had come to an end, but I didn’t expect that the opponent would still have a hand.

The opponent’s one-handed operation really caught people off guard. If the strength is weaker, it is estimated that they will not be able to hold on.

whoosh-

However, Guo Xiuwen is not someone who won’t fight back after being beaten, and the crossbow arrows on the arrow tower have just passed the launch cooldown period.

Unlike Guo Xiuwen’s own control, he finally missed the target.

The skeleton archer hiding in the forest fired three consecutive attacks, and the position had already been captured by the arrow tower.

A crossbow arrow flew into the forest, and a moment later, there was a noise of broken bones.

Then, the fourth attack that Guo Xiuwen thought might appear did not appear.

Taking advantage of this free time, all the soldiers in the territory retreated to the center of the territory.

The twenty or so Bronze rank soldiers who did not enter the Elemental Tower are now under his command.

Gather in twos and threes around buildings such as taverns, markets, arrow towers, element towers, etc., preparing to rely on the buildings for the final battle.

Even planning for the worst, he successively raised the level of the Ratman and Goblin and other soldiers who were originally despised to the limit.

These soldiers don’t consume much to upgrade, even one of them only consumes 5 units of resources to upgrade to LV50.

Even if it is a black iron rank creature, a soldier only consumes 500 units of basic resources.
