Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 14 Treasure Chest

Chapter 14 Treasure Chest
Now the gray wolf den has to wait five days before it can be recruited again, and the tiger den has already been destroyed by him.

He didn’t like the rest of the goblin camp. One more Jackal summoning card was equivalent to one more soldier.

After sorting out the harvest, Guo Xiuwen focused on himself.

To be honest, when I upgraded just now, the feeling was very special. It was similar to when the other party loosened my bones when the horse killed the chicken, but the feeling was much stronger.

In addition, he feels that his physical fitness has also become stronger.

Name: Guo Xiuwen
Race: Star human race

Level LV2 (22/200)

Power: 2.1
Constitution: 4.2
Agility: 2.1
Spirit: 2.1
Charisma: 10.5
Remaining assignable attribute points: 1
Remaining assignable skill points: 1
Talent: Harmless to humans and animals

When he opened the attribute panel, he confirmed that his feeling was not an illusion, and all the original attributes had increased by 5%.

The case has been solved. As a lord, the effect after upgrading is not even comparable to the soldiers of the Black Iron Order.

Then he had another doubt, since he has skill points for leveling up, where do the skills come from.

But he didn’t dwell on it for too long.

Originally, after seeing the goblin camp destroyed, he guessed that there might be other lords around.

Now that he has encountered a wolf man, this guess has been further confirmed.

The attributes of the wolf man are stronger than that of the gray wolf, especially as an intelligent race, the potential is not low.

This time, he was relieved to kill the other three gnolls in a sneak attack, including the elite one.

However, he still didn’t intend to directly kill the opponent’s territory.

It’s still in the protection period, as long as the other party is not stupid, he can’t do anything to the other party hiding inside. If that’s the case, then naturally he can only let it go.

But even so, he was still going to find an opportunity to determine the location of this guy’s territory first.

After all, it is one thing to fight or not to fight, but it is another to find out the details of the opponent.

Knowing where the other party is, when the protection period expires, whether it is a war or a cooperation is another matter, and the initiative is in your own hands.

However, there is no rush to find a location. There are still a few days before the protection of the territory disappears, so you can find it slowly.

As for whether the opponent will explode in the next few days, it is possible, but the possibility is not great.

First of all, you must know that the recruitment price of a black iron class unit is not low.

Not everyone has the opportunity to directly destroy a black iron rank troop lair.

It’s not an overnight get-rich-quick move like destroying the Black Iron Lair.

Even if other lords occupy mining resource points, the resources needed to recruit soldiers are not so easy to gather.

After all, without his resource management system, other lords would need to meet various resources.

”Lord, master, these guys have occupied the creek to the south, and they are still guarding a treasure. I sneaked to the stream to steal water once, and I saw it very clearly.”

But before he could leave, a goblin who had been hiding behind and not daring to join the battle suddenly gave him an unexpected message.

”You mean, these three gnolls, you have met each other before yesterday?”

Still chatting with Goblin last night, he learned a piece of information.

This is a real world, although there are things that seem to be unreal, such as territories, blueprints, and troop lairs.

But at the same time, there are more aborigines in this world.

They can mate with each other to reproduce, not all are recruited.

Goblins were originally the aborigines of this world. They had been hiding in a corner of the forest and had been multiplying for decades. It was just bad luck that Guo Xiuwen encountered them and killed them.

But now, according to Goblin, these gnolls were not soldiers recruited by other lords as he expected, but aboriginals who also lived in the forest.

”Yes, yes, they’ll eat us, so we don’t fetch water from the creek where the water is the most abundant.”

Goblin nodded, confirming his statement.

Hearing this statement, Guo Xiuwen became interested.

Since the goblin said that the gnolls were guarding some treasure, and he had already killed them, logically speaking, the treasure they were guarding should belong to him.

This time it was Goblin who led the way again, because he had a clear destination, so he didn’t arrange for the gray wolves to disperse.

This location is already at the junction of the forest and the plain, which is both a swamp and a creek. There are much fewer tall trees than around his territory, and the people are not moving very fast.

Because there are more and more weeds and shrubs around, the road is a little more difficult to walk than the forest.

Fortunately, Guo Xiuwen’s soldiers were wolves and tigers. With their vigorous skills and according to the path that the wolf man had taken, it took him a while to finally catch up.

This group of goblins may seem timid, but they are very familiar with the surrounding environment.

Their strength is too weak and they are at a relatively low position in the forest ecological chain, so they make a living by collecting food most of the time, and it takes a long time to eat meat.

But it was precisely because of the collection that they traveled to many places around them.

In order to hurry, Guo Xiuwen let two goblins sit on two gray wolves.

The gray wolf is not as big as the tiger, but it is just right to carry a goblin with a height of only 1.2 meters.

As he walked, the sound of running water came from afar.

Guo Xiuwen, who was sitting on the back of the golden tiger, was shocked, even though he deliberately took out the tattered tiger skin and used it as a cushion for himself before going out.

Sitting on the tiger’s back for a long time is also uncomfortable. After all, there is no serious road here. Sometimes the golden tiger needs to jump and walk in order to pass certain places.

The journey was bumpy for him
Now that you hear the sound of water, it proves that you are not far from the creek.

And since the Jackals were guarding the creek, their destination was naturally not far away.

After turning over a small slope, the goblins jumped off the back of the gray wolf and vomited, while pointing their fingers at the rocky mountain ahead.

【Ding!Found a rocky mountain! 】

[Do you occupy resource points?whether? 】

Guo Xiuwen didn’t expect that there would be such a surprise. It turned out that the three jackals were still guarding a resource point.

But when he thought about the golden tiger under his butt, he was pleasantly surprised again.

Since the tiger guards the iron ore resource point, it is not surprising that the wolf man guards the resource point.

And he was pleasantly surprised, naturally, since the tiger guarding the iron ore resource point came out of the tiger’s lair, would the group of wolf men guarding the stone resource point also have a troop lair.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen quickly commanded the gray wolves to swarm up, first let them check if there are any enemies on the mountain, and at the same time look for traces of the troops’ lairs.

The results have been mixed.

The good news is that no enemies were found on the mountain.

The bad news is that there are no troop lairs to be found on the mountain either.

Instead, they found the cave where the wolf man lived.

When Guo Xiuwen came to the entrance of the cave, he was attracted by a glowing black box at a glance.
